The first few Founders upheld the original traditions of creation. They continued to seek out the dark immortal realms to serve humanity, conducting experiments similar to those of Insect Warriors using the corpses of the deceased, and then retrieving files from prisons. They specifically sought out those sentenced to death who had committed heinous acts intentionally, rather than those forced into crime by social pressure, and used them for **experiments.

Zhang Hao’s faction of the Founders completely disregarded such moral concerns. They selected individuals from human society suitable to become Insect Warriors, choosing members appropriate for their various experiments, and then transformed all these selected people into Insect Warriors for **experimentation.

Qin Fen watched the projections, unable to fully grasp why Song Wendong chose not to intervene in this matter. Perhaps he viewed it as a tolerable situation, or perhaps he deemed such a faction inconsequential. As for the true reason for his inaction, perhaps only a direct inquiry to Song Wendong could yield an answer.

The floating projection did not immediately cease; it continued to display various transformations. After the humans adjusted the timeline, the Insect Warrior Queen Bee also discovered that the human world was her feeding paradise.

This leader of the Insect Warriors later ventured into the human world several more times for plunder. According to the scientists’ analysis, the Queen Bee enjoyed the sensation of consuming humans, relished the taste of human flesh, and considered human bodies a source of immense nourishment.

Perhaps due to the interaction between the two spaces, Saturn and Jupiter, which were originally gaseous, suddenly solidified overnight, becoming perfectly suitable for human habitation without requiring any alteration.

As time passed, a spatial connection point spontaneously formed on Jupiter. At this time, Jupiter also gained its own Divine Beast Warrior: the Azure Dragon.

Azure Dragon! A virtual black particle appeared on the projection screen, and even the Founders could not ascertain the identity of the Azure Dragon. Qin Fen felt a touch of disappointment as he looked at the black shadow. Even this shadowy figure was merely something the Founders had imagined.

By this time, the Queen Bee had already conducted extensive reproduction within her own domain. As time accumulated, hierarchies of superiority and inferiority began to emerge among the creatures she had bred.

Qin Fen recognized one creature sitting not far from the Queen Bee—it was the very being he had encountered in the forest previously.

Compared to when he saw it in the forest, the creature in the projection was significantly more powerful; its strength might even rival that of the Tathagata.

With such power, could it be that its strength was reduced to merely that upon arriving on Saturn? Qin Fen harbored deep doubts. The projected footage suddenly shifted to another unexpected development.

The Queen Bee selected several of her most powerful subordinates to accompany her to the human spatial connection point.

Soon, these formidable entities materialized on Jupiter! However, the location where the connection point appeared was unfortunate—it was in Jupiter's uninhabited desert region. Qin Fen was astonished to find that the creatures under the Queen Bee were subject to very few spatial rule restrictions. Although their power was diminished, the reduction was remarkably limited, unlike the Queen Bee, who suffered severe repulsion from this space.

Before they could react, the Four Constellation Generals, who were lying in wait, emerged. The battle was entirely one-sided, even before the Azure Dragon arrived. Amidst their comrades sacrificing their lives for protection, the Queen Bee sustained a severe injury and retreated to her own world, while the creature first seen in the forest was among the few survivors to narrowly escape.

They did not retreat to their original dimension but blasted out of the atmosphere directly into space. Unlike human bodies, these creatures could survive unaided in the vacuum of space.

This recording did not appear as ancient as the previous footage; it was clearly recent. The Queen Bee's performance failed to capture Qin Fen’s attention. What truly riveted him were the creatures the Queen Bee had not chosen to bring to this world.

Compared to those brought this time, the creatures remaining dormant in that other world were far more terrifying. Although he could not fully ascertain the power of certain beings from the projected images, the instincts of a martial artist told Qin Fen that the Queen Bee was accompanied by several beings possessing strength comparable to or exceeding that of the White Tiger.

Many of the creatures bred by the Queen Bee possessed bodies inherently stronger than humans. Coupled with the cultivation methods of Ancient Martial Arts and their bizarre evolutionary paths, they posed an extreme threat.

After observing the creatures the Queen Bee brought to Jupiter, Qin Fen genuinely questioned whether those beings rivaling the White Tiger’s power would suffer a similar drop in strength upon entering Jupiter.

Since he had not witnessed their cross-dimensional transit, Qin Fen could only form the worst possible conjecture.

“It truly is ironic…” a hoarse, aged voice slowly sounded. “The schism within the Founders began purely from the development of Insect Warrior technology. Zhang Hao’s faction, adhering to a law-of-the-jungle approach, has consistently led in technology. Hades was the masterpiece of their creation. With the advent of Hades, they even dared to utter the mad slogan of world domination. Yet, the Divine Beast Warriors allowed them to develop unhindered…”

“Hades.” Qin Po’s fourth child recalled the events in the Sahara. Hades indeed possessed self-awareness, but why did it always feel vaguely unreal?

“So you’re saying,” Chen Feiyu looked up at the brain and asked in a deep voice, “that everything about me was fabricated by Zhang Hao’s Founders?”

“No.”

The brain’s reply carried a faint sadness. “This matter has nothing to do with Zhang Hao. You were created by us… or rather, you are the last batch of experimental subjects Zhang Hao left with us. He didn't even have time to complete the experiments before abandoning you. We discovered that if we didn’t continue the trials, your lifespans wouldn't exceed six months. So, we carried on the experiment.”

“But my comrades were all killed by you!” Chen Feiyu clenched his fists, lifting his head fiercely to roar at the brain. “I saw it clearly! It was your scalpels, you killed them with your own hands! You even intended to kill me! Stop portraying yourselves as benevolent heroes; you are no different from Zhang Hao and his lot!”

The brain listened silently to all of Chen Feiyu’s furious accusations. A projection materialized before the two men once more, and the voice asked flatly, “Are you referring to this?”

In the projection, nearly a hundred young martial artists were being massacred. Qin Fen was startled to see that Chen Feiyu himself was among the slaughtered; his head had been severed by a single blade, and his abdomen peppered like a hornet’s nest by automatic rifle fire.

If Qin Fen hadn't known Chen Feiyu was alive, he would have suspected he was witnessing a ghost.

Another sequence of projections appeared. Chen Feiyu was absent from this scene, but the number of casualties was the same as the previous frame. It was the same hundred people, only the young man whose head was cut off and whose abdomen was riddled with bullets was replaced by another individual.

The third projection dropped down, and Qin Fen keenly observed that the count of one hundred dead remained unchanged; only the appearance of one victim had changed again.

This is… Qin Fen suddenly understood. These projections were not genuine events. If high-tech stereoscopic imagery was deployed, and a person was in extreme terror, hiding in a relatively confined, dark, and inconspicuous environment, when their emotions were unstable, they would accept this three-dimensional projection as absolute reality.

The fourth projection showed Chen Feiyu escaping the base after overcoming numerous hardships. Viewed now, how could such a heavily fortified base, one allegedly possessing a fourteen-star powerhouse, allow a young man of Chen Feiyu’s presumed strength to escape so easily?

Deducing from this situation, only one possibility remained: they intentionally let him go!

The projections continued. This time, the escapee was someone else, who also managed to flee the base through a different route.

“In truth, none of you died,” the brain stated through the speaker, its voice imbued with a soft sigh. “At that time, we observed that after subsequent experimentation, your vital signs stabilized back to those of normal humans. However, your experiment was ultimately a failure. Keeping you confined here would have been unfair. But if we simply allowed you to leave, what would you have thought? Furthermore, some members of the Founders could not believe the experiment had truly failed, convinced it could still yield results. Therefore…”

“Therefore?” Chen Feiyu raised an eyebrow toward the brain, his face a mixture of lingering resentment and inquiry, as his life had been nearly annihilated by this infernal experiment. “What else did you do?”

“So, we deliberately made each of you believe you had successfully escaped while all your comrades had perished. We also implemented measures to ensure you would not meet or contact each other in reality.”

“This was all done to provoke your rage and hatred toward the Founders. Some members believed your deficiency was insufficient emotion; that with enough hatred and anger, you could break through the barrier of failure and become the strong individuals predicted by our calculations.”

The brain sighed. “After several rounds of research, the members concluded that rather than letting you develop hatred externally, it was better to direct that hatred toward the Founders themselves. If you could successfully destroy the Founders, it would prove you possessed immense strength, signifying a measure of success for our experiment.”

Manipulating oneself as an experiment? Qin Fen realized that it wasn't just Zhang Hao’s Founders who were insane; this supposedly tranquil faction was equally mad. Whether it was the opening of spatial rifts or the development of other technologies, none of these were actions undertaken by rational minds.

“Is that so?” Chen Feiyu sneered, a thread of killing intent weaving through his expression. “I suspect things aren't as simple as you claim. If that were the case, then…”

“Your sister’s death?” the brain’s calm voice interjected again. “Or the death of your sister’s family?” (To be continued)
