Humans were like the endlessly demanding children of the universe, and scientists were their fathers, doing everything possible to satisfy their every whim, despite the ceaseless nature of their desires.

The ancient voice echoed in Qin Fen's mind, leaving him momentarily stunned as he gazed at the image displayed on the massive projection screen.

The scientific contingent waited for several days until Song Wendong, accompanied by four formidable warriors, rushed back to the base of the scientific group in a flurry of activity.

After fully grasping the sequence of events, Song Wendong led the four back into the spatial world that the scientists had christened 'Pandora'.

There was no melodramatic romance; the confrontation resumed with the creatures hatched from those three special eggs. They proved largely ineffectual; upon the first meeting, two of the creatures born from the special eggs perished. The third creature, for reasons of chance or design, was absent from the battlefield entirely before the fighting commenced.

Though they served no discernible purpose, the two creatures instantly struck down left a profound impression on Qin Fen. Their displayed strength was significantly greater than when they were first born, clearly indicating that humanity's martial arts cultivation methods acted as an excellent catalyst for them.

In the ensuing chapter, perhaps because the Queen Bee possessed the memories of the previous Queen, upon seeing Song Wendong, she prepared for no combat whatsoever and immediately turned to execute a retreat tactic.

A battle of pursuit and evasion unfolded within that vast and peculiar space.

During the day, a colossal sun hung high overhead, just as it did in the human world. At night, the sky was filled with countless stars, though the arrangement of these celestial bodies was unlike anything Qin Fen had ever witnessed.

After weeks of relentless pursuit, the Queen Bee was killed once more. However, this time, Song Wendong and his team found the fight noticeably more arduous.

The space seemed to exert an inexplicable suppressive force on the strength of Song Wendong and the others, as if the rules of some cosmic thunder space were at play. Furthermore, the new Queen Bee's increased power, coupled with her possession of Zhenqi, presented an even more vexing problem.

Having once again eliminated the Queen Bee, Song Wendong opted to recuperate on the spot. Firstly, because time moved faster here than in the human world, and secondly, out of fear that the Queen Bee might attempt some form of 'golden cicada shedding its shell' trick again.

The team of scientists then decided this was the moment to eradicate these creatures entirely, particularly as the newly integrated biologists exhibited tremendous enthusiasm for the task.

Song Wendong and the others concurred with the decision. The impression left by the Queen Bee was too deep; if she were allowed to pass on her essence a few more times, who in this space could possibly stand against her?

With the plan finalized, Song Wendong requisitioned all the death row inmates from the government, equipping them with firearms and various gear. They launched a two-month intensive training period within the Pandora space before commencing the large-scale sweep operation.

The space of Pandora was akin to another universe, its landmass far exceeding that of Earth. Relying solely on five powerful experts, no corner of this realm could possibly be explored. Fighter jets equipped with life-detection systems and mobile armor became the unstoppable spearhead for clearing the area.

Song Wendong’s operation was executed with extreme secrecy, aided by the coordination and cover provided by the President and a few other top officials. Everything proceeded without the knowledge of the general populace.

This precaution was taken not only to prevent widespread panic among the majority of the population but also to forestall the clamor from the so-called "human rights advocates."

A year-long eradication campaign unfolded throughout the world of Pandora. During this year, humanity again faced near shortages in energy reserves. Virtually all biological life was swept clean. To eliminate any potentially surviving Pandora creatures, Song Wendong even managed to transport submarines and warships here; even the oceans were not spared.

Once all this was complete, one faction of the scientific team immediately began the arduous work of restoring productivity to the Pandora world, while another group of biologists enthusiastically sought to usher in humanity's new era, as if everything had returned to its proper course.

It was then that a new problem emerged. What was to be done with these death row inmates who had survived? Returning them to their original world? After a year of intense combat, these men had transformed into elite warriors. To abruptly bring them all back to the human world might lead to significant complications.

Finally, after extensive discussion, a solution was devised: half the personnel would return to the human world and emigrate to the as-yet-undeveloped Moon, while the other half would garrison the Pandora world to prevent any lingering creatures from rising again, requiring one supreme expert to remain as warden.

White Tiger volunteered to stay; among these men, White Tiger was the most aggressively combative expert. His willingness to remain was not unexpected by the others.

Is that how it ended? Qin Fen, like the experts in the projection, found it hard to believe this was the conclusion.

Soon, the projection displayed further developments.

The Queen Bee! She reappeared! This time, the Queen Bee was infinitely more cautious. The projection data contained no record of when she materialized; clearly, even surveillance satellites had failed to detect her presence.

How had she appeared? By what method did the former Queen Bee allow the new embryo to develop undetected by surveillance satellites? Qin Fen only knew one thing: this newly emerged Queen Bee was stronger than her predecessor! The moment she appeared in the projection, it was evident that this Queen Bee had not awakened only a day or two prior. She must have been awake for a long time, enduring her hunger, feeding in secret, and producing no offspring, all while silently honing her martial skills.

Even the first Queen Bee who clashed with Song Wendong possessed true strength superior to his own; how much more powerful would she be after inheriting the lineage several times, evolving through multiple generations, and having had time to cultivate her internal arts?

Her superiority was not just quantitative compared to White Tiger; it was qualitative as well. Had White Tiger not fortunately achieved the state of Tian Ren He Yi during the battle, and had Song Wendong and Steward Hou not arrived for an inspection precisely that day, the history of White Tiger ruling Venus might never have been written.

In that engagement, Song Wendong and the other two barely managed to repel the Queen Bee.

However, in the few minutes before Song Wendong arrived, the Queen Bee had managed to devour a considerable number of humans, along with vast quantities of weaponry.

Qin Fen could only sigh inwardly, again and again. Perhaps others saw a chance to slay the Queen Bee, but was there ever truly a chance? Not anymore! Without the bizarre laws of the Pandora space, Song Wendong alone could have defeated the Queen Bee; even if two Queen Bees had appeared simultaneously, it wouldn't have mattered.

Perhaps every world favors its own progeny; Song Wendong, as an outsider, could never unleash his full power. After several pursuit missions, Song Wendong and his team were ultimately forced—forced—to retreat from the world of Pandora! They declared the hunting mission a failure!

"Forced." Watching the Queen Bee turn around to pursue Song Wendong and the others, Qin Fen began, for the first time, to genuinely admire this guardian of Earth, who had made repeated attempts and efforts at grave personal risk, knowing the chances were slim to none.

"Unless we can break that accursed rule!"

"Are you truly unable to destroy this space?"

"We are attempting to adjust the timeline of the Pandora space, trying to align it with our own timeline, or perhaps even a slower one."

"That damnable rule seems to be a piercing suppression of energy. I believe we can design specialized combat suits to isolate ourselves from this rule. But we need time..."

"Why not use nuclear weapons? Bring out every nuclear bomb humanity possesses. Those things are currently only a threat of collective suicide for us. While they might not destroy supreme experts, they should at least render the world of Pandora uninhabitable. That way, the Queen Bee might starve to death."

"Nuclear weapons? What about humanity's food supply?"

"We can cultivate radiation-resistant food seeds; a research institution has already achieved complete success in that area."

Although the world had devolved into a most basic federation, the danger of nuclear war still loomed. To safeguard survival after a nuclear conflict, people were making all sorts of efforts, and radiation-resistant food seeds were one such specific innovation.

Thus, the secret behind why nuclear weapons vanished from the human world unfolded within the Pandora space.

Fire, shockwaves, and radiation ravaged the Pandora space carved out by humanity. After all the attacks were delivered, Qin Fen, like the other scientists, displayed a look of stunned surprise.

Perhaps due to the difference in spatial dimensions, weapons lethal to ordinary people in the human world acted as supreme fertilizer in this new dimension.

In just one night, the entire planet turned green. There were no deserts, only lush, vibrant greenery.

All sorts of plants grew wildly. Qin Fen's surprise quickly turned into a bitter smile. In this scenario, how was the Queen Bee being deprived of food? It was an outright feast!

"Hurry up with the work to adjust the timeline."

"Tell us when the suits capable of resisting the rules are ready."

The powerful experts left after delivering their messages, with Song Wendong choosing to remain stationed at the laboratory. This was not for any secondary reason, but to prevent the Queen Bee from suddenly breaching the space and entering the human world.

Of course, it could also be considered Song Wendong's attempt at 'waiting for the rabbit to bump into the tree stump'—a deliberate, patient vigil.

Unfortunately, this vigil was not very successful. The Queen Bee was living quite comfortably over there, occasionally consuming plants, never attacking the human-established food bases in the space, and when bored, simply spawning creatures that posed little threat to liven up the environment.

This seemingly tranquil existence did not last long.

One day, the Queen Bee vanished. Not long after, a new Queen Bee appeared, chewing on the corpse of the old one.

After devouring the old Queen Bee, the new one displayed a moment of apparent agony, before immediately laying another egg. What hatched from this egg was yet another Queen Bee.

The new Queen Bee then proceeded to devour the Queen Bee who had laid the first egg. Immediately afterward, she began to extrude an egg of her own... (To be continued)
