"Watch out!" Old Liu stood behind Mei Yi, his eyes sharp. Seeing the dense array of long halberds slicing through the air, he instinctively prepared to activate the Demon-Breaking Sword Array.

"Don't! Old Liu." Ye Xiu watched everything from behind, but those halberds were nearly filling the entire passageway. "Don't shatter them; slip to the left."

"Hmph!" Mei Yi, agile in movement, leaped back until she was face-to-face with Ye Xiu. At that moment, she smiled slightly, embraced Ye Xiu, and lunged toward the left wall. "Don't worry, I've got you!"

"Hey!" Ye Xiu hadn't anticipated Mei Yi's sudden move. He felt her soft chest almost pressed against his face. In that instant, he felt intensely uncomfortable yet utterly unable to evade; he was forcefully pinned against the wall by her lunge.

Old Liu vaulted rapidly, squeezing through the gaps between the successive halberds with perfect form. When he landed and looked back, the mass of halberds had slammed heavily onto the stone door, punching a large hole through it. "Hey, what are you two doing at a time like this?"

"Okay, hurry in!" Ye Xiu, seeing the stone door broken open by countless halberds, promptly scooped up Mei Yi and charged inside. As they left, he unleashed Black Flame in a strike deep into the passageway, instantly obliterating all the terracotta warriors. "Let's go, Old Liu. As long as those guys can't see us, they shouldn't catch up."

"Hey, wait for me!" Old Liu struggled at the rear, looking at Mei Yi's full bust and wishing he could trade places with Ye Xiu.

The Records of the Grand Historian describe that Emperor Qin Shi Huang's underground palace penetrated three springs, where copper was used to support the coffin, and palaces, officials, and exotic treasures were interred within. Mercury was used to form the rivers, channels, and seas, with mechanisms supplying the flow. Above, the celestial sphere was mapped; below, the geography was depicted. Candles made from mermaid fat were lit, expected to burn for ages without extinguishing. In a way, the three had only passed through the first gate, and the world within had astonished them greatly.

"Where is this light coming from?" Ye Xiu looked at the countless small points of light on the ground. These spots, shaped like five-pointed stars, floated irregularly above the pure black floor. This vast chamber was brightly illuminated by these dots. The surrounding walls were spread out like a painting, displaying magnificent scenery of mountains and waters—was this truly symbolizing the Qin tomb's ritual of "treating the dead as if they were alive"?

Old Liu looked up at the ceiling. Its color was distinctly different from the walls; it was deep blue, like the night sky. He licked his lips in surprise. "Ancient records state that the roof of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's mausoleum was inlaid with rare jewels symbolizing the sun, moon, and stars. But there is nothing luminous up there. Instead, the stars have appeared on the ground."

"If it's not reflection, then where is the light from these stars originating? From underground?" As Mei Yi squatted down, her slender lower back was immediately exposed to Ye Xiu's view. Her skin was fair and smooth, appearing alluring under the starlight.

Ye Xiu surveyed everything around them. The entire room resembled a stage filled with starlight. It was said that Emperor Qin Shi Huang's tomb was unfathomably deep; the artisans dug until they hit underground springs before stopping. They had only walked a short distance; how could they have reached the core of the mausoleum? "Everyone be careful. It's too quiet in here; I suspect it's not that simple."

Old Liu slowly walked up to Mei Yi, staring intently at the starlight on the ground. Those specks were now pulsating like human pupils—sometimes widening, sometimes contracting. Some even seemed unwilling to lie flat and began emitting rising wisps of energy.

"Watch out!" Just as Mei Yi shouted, several stars on the ground shot out beams of golden laser light toward Old Liu. She snatched up her Crystal Wheel, intending to block, but the dual wheels were immediately repelled the instant they contacted the laser. At that moment, the starlight beneath her own feet also became restless, shooting out deadly rays.

"I've got this!" Ye Xiu rushed over and kicked Old Liu aside. Unluckily, the skin on his arm was grazed by a laser, instantly emitting a faint smell of scorching. "Damn it, these things are incredibly hot; they could bake us alive."

"Look! All those stars over there are starting to glow!" Old Liu rolled to his feet, pointing at the surrounding starlight. The beams were advancing in rows, clearly intending to corner them.

At this moment, the three stood within a veritable field of stars. As time passed, the golden lasers radiated everywhere, and it looked like the stars beneath each of them were about to erupt. Ye Xiu looked up and noticed something strange about the ceiling: it seemed this deep blue sky was absorbing the light from the ground. "How about we try jumping up there?"

"Go!" Mei Yi moved the fastest. She used her dual wheels to form a set of stairs, stepping up one by one. When one hand touched the deep blue sky, she felt a powerful suction pulling her in. She tried to break free but felt as if she were sinking into a swamp. "There's something in here!"

"Damn it, no retreat now." Old Liu mounted his sword and followed Mei Yi into the sky. "There must be another world in here. We have no choice."

Ye Xiu countered with Black Flame, dodging the starlight as he shot into the sky. As he entered the new dimension, he inadvertently glanced back at the ground. A woman's beautiful face seemed to be watching him amidst the starlight—her long hair cascaded over her shoulders, her features exquisite, and her fair skin faintly hinted at a smile. How could that woman be Xi Shi?

In the deep blue void, an upward pull toward the heavens locked the three of them firmly in place. A colossal, towering peak suddenly materialized in the entire scene, its majesty and mystery irresistible.

"Is this weightlessness?" Mei Yi was no longer relying on her Moon-Shining Crystal Wheels to ascend. She felt light, as if she could fly in the air. She spread her arms and looked down at Old Liu below, resembling a celestial fairy. "Hey, what's going on here?"

"How should I know? What is this black, imposing peak? Aren't we in the Ninth Heaven? Why is this thing here?" Old Liu was equally bewildered.

Ye Xiu entered the scene last. He activated his Black Flame counter-thrust, rocketing upward like a projectile, surpassing the other two and speeding straight toward the mountain summit. "No turning back; we have to go up and see."

Old Liu was last. His body was pressed against the mountain wall as he ascended. At first, he could only vaguely make out the moss growing on the stone. This peak was peculiar; though massive, there was absolutely no path up. He circled the mountain several times before realizing it was essentially a giant cylinder. There was no vegetation or animal life; the only thing present was moss, which covered nearly everything. "What could be up there?"
