"Roar... roar..." Suddenly, the sound of a great fire burning emanated from below the passage, and amidst the scorching heat, something seemed to utter faint cries of sorrow.

"What have we encountered?" Old Liu sprang forward, his Demon-Slaying Sword already raised high in mid-air. What he saw further down the passage was astonishing. "This... how could there possibly be... here?"

"What!" Ye Xiu rushed down close behind. The passage widened considerably below. Crawling along the sandy walls were scorched vines, interwoven with some pale green tentacles writhing upon the surface. At the end of each tentacle blossomed a repulsive, pus-filled bud—what else could it be but a Corpse Flower?

"What kind of flower is this, it's so disgusting!" Meiyi, seeing a Corpse Flower for the first time, lightly raised her hands. The Glacial Moon Crystal Wheel swept casually, slicing the smaller Corpse Flowers on the wall into fragments.

The King of Corpse Flowers from the Nine Poisonous Fiends Array was still vividly in Ye Xiu's memory. He deeply dreaded encountering such things because they were not only troublesome but also represented eternal life—a form of eternal life that stripped away sanity, leaving only the pitiful existence of a walking corpse. He swallowed hard and murmured, "Qin Shi Huang once sought alchemists for elixirs of longevity and dispatched men to immortal islands for medicine. Yet, there are Corpse Flowers in this tomb! Could someone here have succeeded in finding that method?"

Old Liu nodded and murmured softly, "Mo Shu once attempted such methods, and Mo Xi should possess even more refined mastery over longevity techniques. The presence of Corpse Flowers here suggests that some people during the Qin Dynasty were still researching eternal life."

"Yan Luo belongs to the Underworld; they have no need for longevity arts!" Meiyi disdainfully kicked aside a vine on the ground. She pointed towards a stone door ahead. "While you two waste time speculating, why don't you figure out how to open this door?"

Hearing Mo Xi’s name immediately brought Hong Ling to Ye Xiu's mind, though the shadow of Ji Jiang still flickered. He walked up to the stone door and tapped it with his hand. Its sheer size suggested it couldn't be opened by external force alone. He attempted to burn it with Black Flame, but the stone showed no sign of discoloration or chipping.

"Creak... groan..." Just then, a sound like disjointed bones echoed along the elongated passage. The ground shifted from deep yellow to pale black, and figures resembling Terracotta Warriors began emerging from the earth, gradually blocking the trio's retreat.

"Hey, these things are priceless treasures," Old Liu muttered, unsure whether to laugh or cry. The warriors first appeared by their heads, then their full bodies emerged. However, they were not as stiff as those seen on television. Some held long halberds, others carried shields, standing densely packed. Their target, of course, was anyone tampering with the stone door.

Meiyi didn't even look back. With a single hand gesture, the Glacial Moon Crystal Wheel, as if possessed of sight, flew towards the passage behind them. One wheel hovered above the Terracotta Warriors, emitting an icy aura. After all the warriors were coated in a thin layer of ice, the other wheel transformed into a fiery shape and erupted, instantly burning all the warriors present into ash.

"Sometimes I truly doubt how you managed to hide your identity back then," Ye Xiu observed the devastation behind him with boredom. "What's the point of killing these minions? Hurry up and find a way to enter."

Meiyi snorted playfully. "Back then, neither of us knew the other's identity. I just found you particularly unique."

"Unique? What kind of organization is the Yu Yu Seal Blade Alliance? Does it belong to the Underworld or the mortal realm?" Ye Xiu was somewhat suspicious. The founder of that organization was mysterious and immensely powerful. Although Meiyi was an old classmate, this fact did nothing to erase the inherent conflicts between their entire realms and clans.

"Hey, hey! Stop chatting! Look!" Old Liu slapped Ye Xiu, his mouth agape. "These things are made of earth; how could they possibly be destroyed by fire!"

Meiyi looked down. More Terracotta Warriors were emerging from the pale black ground. They wore armor made of earth, their gazes sharp, truly possessing the momentum of a great army entering the fray. "These things are coming out endlessly; what are we going to do?"

"Thump!" A long halberd was hurled from the distance. Ye Xiu narrowly turned his head, allowing the halberd to strike the stone door. He looked back; the structure of this weapon was also earthen, yet it managed to embed itself firmly into the stone door, which struck him as odd. "Can their weapons break this stone door?"

"Don't joke! Demon-Slaying Sword!" Old Liu pointed, and the Demon-Slaying Sword split into seven streaks of light aimed at the Terracotta Warriors. These seven lights weaved back and forth through the passage, creating an infinite web of illumination. The front ranks of the warriors instantly disintegrated into ash. "I'll hold them off here; you two find a way!"

"What way is there?" Meiyi also deployed the Glacial Moon Crystal Wheel to block the appearance of the warriors, anxiously looking at Ye Xiu. "Hey, you're the God of Death; are you really going to be stumped by a mere door like this!"

"..." Ye Xiu gasped, taking a sharp breath. Currently lacking his Death Scythe, he had no means of brute force against this massive stone door. However, the experience of the thrown halberd earlier suggested there was a way. "Old Liu, Meiyi, don't kill the warriors carrying the halberds! Their weapons might be the key to opening this door!"

"Ah, are you kidding? This delicate work—how am I supposed to control that!" Old Liu was slaughtering the warriors, making them yelp in defeat. Telling him to stop now would surely dampen their fighting spirit.

"Hmph, what difficulty is there in that!" Meiyi leaped and summoned back the Crystal Wheels hovering in the air. The wheels spun around her arms, and when she released them again, the twin wheels surged toward the crowd of warriors. Surprisingly, their attack targeted only the soldiers holding shields. "These Glacial Moon Crystal Wheels are weapons I forged myself; they naturally understand my intent!"

"Whoa!" Old Liu stared dumbfounded as the two wheels skillfully navigated among the warriors, swarming the shield-bearers while deftly dodging those with halberds. "Weapons and the heart in accord—truly a peculiar alliance."

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!" Since the halberd-wielding warriors in the rear couldn't advance, they could only hurl their weapons towards Ye Xiu's direction. The force behind them was so great that the halberds, even after passing through the bodies of the warriors in front, remained robustly powerful as they struck the stone door.

"Hoo..." Ye Xiu flipped, leaping onto the passage wall. He watched as one after another, the halberds pierced the stone door, actually chipping off fragments of stone. He exclaimed happily, "That's it, Meiyi, keep going!"

"Wow, so many this time!" Old Liu broke out in a cold sweat as several halberds hurtled towards him. He hastily flattened himself, crawling along the ground like a dog. "How many halberd-wielding warriors are standing back there!"

"Can't worry about that anymore!" Meiyi continued her maneuvers, blocking the advance of the shield soldiers. But deep within the passage, unseen by her, earthen halberds were flying in a dense swarm—a formation powerful enough to almost fill the entire space!
