In another room within the temporary palace, Xinnidi was discussing the state of the war with several princes and princesses when a rapid series of footsteps suddenly echoed down the corridor outside. Princess Hafin was rushing towards them. After hearing Yang Ying’s words, her eagerness to verify the information was so great that she left the butler to continue hosting Yang Ying, while she took her head maid and hurried to see Xinnidi.

"Master Xinnidi! Is Master Xinnidi here?" she called out as she burst into the room.

"Hafin, what is all this haste?" Crown Prince Hayd, a handsome man whose demeanor was remarkably steady, spoke with a tone of sternness. He was clearly displeased by his sister’s abrupt entrance.

"It's alright, it's alright, she came to see me," Xinnidi said, stepping in front of the Crown Prince with a genial expression to soothe the now slightly reserved Princess Hafin. "Didn't you just go see Master Yang Ying? What is it you need me for?"

Princess Hafin caught her breath and said, "It's about rescuing Father King and Mother Queen from prison..."

"What!"

"Did Master Yang Ying agree?"

"What did he say?"

As Princess Hafin’s words trailed off, the other princes and princesses in the room instantly became even more anxious than she had been. Seeing the expectant gazes of her siblings, Princess Hafin felt somewhat at a loss. Xinnidi, observing this, smiled faintly and comforted her, "Don't worry, tell us slowly."

Princess Hafin offered a grateful smile and recounted the events, concluding, "Master Yang Ying told me to ask Master Xinnidi, so here I am."

"That Master Yang Ying actually intends to rescue Father King and Mother Queen alone? Does the Teran Mercenary Group even have that capability?" The Crown Prince turned his gaze toward Xinnidi, who knew the Teran Mercenary Group best, seeking her opinion.

The Crown Prince's reaction was relatively measured; the other royal members exchanged glances with expressions full of doubt.

They had all heard Hafin talk about the Teran Mercenary Group—a race that had just ascended to a higher civilization, a Third-level mercenary group only recently certified—could they really extract the King and Queen from the heavily guarded clutches of the powerful rebel forces? Moreover, the rebels would surely have prepared an elaborate trap, just waiting for the fish to bite.

Xinnidi didn't answer immediately. She was pondering Yang Ying’s reason for accepting the mission. In her eyes, the Teran Mercenary Group had little to do with Earth; it was a group founded by true humans from the Atlantean Empire. Earth merely possessed the name of a higher civilization without possessing the substance, rendering it negligible. The only thing needing consideration was Yang Ying’s motivation.

"Judging by Master Yang Ying’s proposal, he wants exclusive rights to that primordial planet in the Perseus Arm and wants to keep the news suppressed as much as possible. But surely a dignified True Human wouldn't accept such a mission just for a single planet?" Xinnidi pondered, unable to find any other explanation. "Never mind. Since Master Yang Ying said so, he must have confidence. Even the Fourth-level Hadrak died at the hands of the Teran Mercenary Group. Rescuing the King and Queen shouldn't be beyond their capability."

With this thought, Xinnidi decided to back Yang Ying. "I believe Master Yang Ying spoke the truth. The Teran Mercenary Group indeed has the strength to rescue Their Majesties."

"Really!"

"That's wonderful!"

As a prominent figure among the upper echelon, Xinnidi’s assurance carried far more weight than Yang Ying’s words. The royal members relaxed, and a wave of joy washed over them.

"Wonderful! Father King and Mother Queen are saved!" Princess Hafin exclaimed happily. "I'll go see Master Yang Ying now." With that, she turned to leave.

"Wait a moment, I'm coming too." Crown Prince Hayd followed her.

"Yes, us too." As if contagious, the other royal members also proposed meeting Yang Ying.

"Since that's the case, let's all go together," Xinnidi declared graciously.

With the exception of the Second Princess, Halwin, who had just overcome danger and remained unconscious, the remaining three princes and three princesses of the royal family, along with their respective retinues, proceeded in a grand procession toward the reception hall where Yang Ying was waiting. The attendants and court ladies they passed on the way wore expressions of astonishment, whispering amongst themselves, wondering which highly distinguished figure had arrived at the palace to warrant such a massive mobilization of the royal family to greet them.

The group arrived at the reception hall, and Princess Hafin introduced Yang Ying to the assembled royals.

Because the lives of the two Sovereigns were at stake, the princes and princesses dared not show the slightest carelessness, observing every formality with extreme thoroughness. With Xinnidi assisting by vouching for him, Yang Ying handled the discussions smoothly, quickly finalizing the mission protocol.

The departure date was set for the following morning. The royal members immediately summoned several intelligence officers, providing them with detailed data concerning the King and Queen’s imprisonment so that Yang Ying could be as prepared as possible before leaving.

The Crown Prince stated, "Father King and Mother Queen are imprisoned on the Capital Planet, which is currently the most heavily fortified area by the rebels. If Master Yang Ying decides on any action, please inform us immediately. We will launch a diversionary frontal assault at that time to divert the rebel attention, hoping to ease the pressure on the Master's operation."

"That might be exactly what the rebels want. Although spatial jump technology allows fleets to appear directly outside the Capital Planet, that territory is already controlled by the rebels. Advancing deep into enemy territory makes one easy to encircle, and eliminating the kingdom’s main military strength is likely also the goal of this trap," Xinnidi began, intending to dissuade the Crown Prince from this idea.

"Then I will lead the team!" Second Prince Hayl made his offer. "Brother is the future King and cannot risk danger so easily. He should remain in Finis and await our news."

"Hayl!" Crown Prince Hayd looked at him seriously, clapping him firmly on the shoulder. "You must return alive!"

Xinnidi shook her head. "I already said the diversionary fleet operation is dangerous..."

"Master Xinnidi, you don't need to persuade us," the Crown Prince interrupted. "How can we not know the extreme danger of this venture? But any possibility that can increase the mission's success rate, we must attempt it. Even if the rebels haven't set a trap, the Capital Planet is saturated with over one hundred thousand rebel warships. No matter how strong Master Yang Ying is, bringing Father King and Mother Queen through such a defense line has a slim chance of success, especially since Father King and Mother Queen are not spirit-users and their mobility is limited. We must give the rebel fleet something to occupy it to create an opportunity for the rescue operation."

Xinnidi sighed. "Very well." She abandoned her attempt to persuade him and turned to Yang Ying. "Master Yang Ying, everything now depends on you."

Yang Ying nodded. "Since I have accepted this mission, no matter what, as long as Their Majesties are alive, I will definitely rescue them."

That evening, Yang Ying returned to the temporary camp with a stack of intelligence materials, handing them over to the General Staff for strategy development. According to the Crown Prince’s explanation, there were still many loyalists to the royal family on the Capital Planet who could aid this operation, and if necessary, several guerrilla units could even be mobilized.

However, Yang Ying possessed substantial forces of his own and wasn't overly reliant on that small military advantage.

The General Staff analyzed the strategies overnight, cross-referenced maps, and planned escape routes. By dawn, they had formulated "five definitive plans," each containing numerous branches and contingency measures for various unexpected events. To analyze and process such a massive amount of unfamiliar data and generate strategies in a single night was something even peak masters with superhuman cognitive abilities could not achieve.

The reason Yang Ying had maintained his stable position thus far was his understanding that collective wisdom was always more complete than individual wisdom. For every major operation, he focused only on the broad direction, leaving the specific tactical planning to the General Staff for refinement.

The night passed, and the sun rose once more over the planet Finis.

On the tarmac, the Giant Beast sat like a small mountain. In its shadow, Princess Hafin represented the entire royal family to bid Yang Ying farewell.

"Master Yang Ying, the safety of Father King and Mother Queen is entrusted to you." Princess Hafin hadn't slept all night; her already haggard face from worrying about the Second Princess’s condition had grown even more drawn.

"Rest assured, I will bring Their Majesties back," Yang Ying stated.

Princess Hafin managed a smile. "I have good news for you. Just a short while ago, my Second Sister woke up. Master Xinnidi says she will soon recover her health and be back to normal."

"That truly is cause for congratulations," Yang Ying laughed. "It's a good omen, perhaps indicating this operation will proceed smoothly without any mishaps."

"If only that were so," Princess Hafin replied with a slight smile.

"Princess, it's nearly time," the head maid reminded her from the side.

"I know. Master Yang Ying, please be on your way now. I and the others will wait here for your good news." Princess Hafin stepped back a couple of paces, her eyes shining with anticipation.

"Understood." Yang Ying also said his farewell, then turned and boarded the spacecraft. A moment later, the Giant Beast rose into the air, flashed with light, and plunged into hyperspace.

Simultaneously, within the fleet orbiting outside the planet Finis, fifty thousand warships ignited their engines and departed, making up nearly half of the assembled vessels. This fleet, led by Second Prince Hayl, was the diversionary force. They traveled only a short distance before also entering hyperspace, heading toward the Capital Planet.

They would not arrive directly at the Capital Planet but would lie in ambush about one light-year away from it, awaiting Yang Ying's signal. Space is incredibly vast; any location can conceal beings. In contrast, the speed of light is painfully slow; a distance of one light-year is ample enough for them to hide without being detected by rebel forces. However, upon receiving Yang Ying's signal, they could appear outside the Capital Planet within ten seconds to provide diversionary support.
