With my energy and time constrained, I started typing just before nine this morning, writing straight through until nearly midnight, finishing six whole chapters, all of which are now updated!
Haha, these end-of-the-month reader votes are truly something—they’ve absolutely overwhelmed me! Over nineteen hundred votes already; you all are incredible. Woo-hoo, woo-hoo.
But don't worry everyone, those votes won't go unrewarded. Over these first few days of the new month, I’ll be returning every single chapter I owe!
Here’s an old anecdote from ancient times:
(A woman having a very difficult labor blamed her husband, saying, “It’s all because of the wicked things you’ve done that I’m suffering like this today.” The husband felt terrible about it and they agreed, saying, “From now on, we will sleep in separate beds and not engage in that business again.” The wife agreed. A month later, late at night, she suddenly heard the door being opened. She loudly asked, “Who is that?” The wife replied, “That one who isn't afraid to die has come again.”)
Hehe, right now, I am that one who isn't afraid to die. Even though the sheer volume of writing for so many votes is exhausting, making me utterly spent, it is a pain mixed with immense joy.
I shall continue carrying this fearless spirit forward and daring to ask for the baseline monthly votes at the start of the month! Once I’ve paid off what I owe from May, we can start on June’s debt.
It’s still the same rule: fifty monthly votes earns one extra chapter! I'm going to explode, explode, explode! I hope to explode again in June!
If you fear death, you won't succeed; if you don't fear death, charge! Charge! Charge~~~U
