The early decommissioning of an Echelon-class battlecruiser, six months ahead of schedule, was certainly cause for celebration. "If it had been delayed by another six months, Yang Ying probably wouldn't have been so amenable," the thought surfaced. "A year and a half—by then, the flowers would have wilted waiting. At that point, Director Bila and all his erring subordinates would definitely be locked in the dark room until the battlecruiser was finally launched."

After giving Director Bila a few sharp instructions, Yang Ying departed the Northern Airbase Cluster. He realized it had been quite some time since he had properly surveyed the Floating Continent, so he ascended into the air. He circled the continent, gazing down at the scenery below.

As the Primary Soul, he could move and land across the Floating Continent with incredible speed, expending virtually no energy; it was as simple as a thought. This felt like a specific authority, effective only within the boundaries of the Continent itself.

It was worth noting that his clones lacked this specific authorization. Therefore, any movement across the Floating Continent for them was identical to traversing the real world: they had to walk or utilize transportation.

Yang Ying flew for a while beneath the cloud layer, completing a circuit over the Human territory.

Since Yang Ying had not yet broken through to the Quasi-Master realm, the area of the Floating Continent remained fixed at ninety thousand square kilometers. The three races had essentially divided this land equally, each claiming thirty thousand square kilometers.

In the Human territory, factories stood in dense arrays, giving off an intensely mechanized atmosphere. From resource processing to weapon manufacturing, every single operation had scaled up into a massive industry, capable of supplying thousands of fully equipped clone soldiers daily, alongside over a thousand assorted armored vehicles.

"Murphy." Yang Ying softly called out the name of his oldest subordinate.

"Murphy reports, Commander," a light-screen appeared beside Yang Ying, showing the bald Murphy rendering a crisp salute.

"Brief me on the development within the Human Domain."

"Yes, Commander!"

From that point on, wherever Yang Ying flew, Murphy narrated, detailing the production capacity of various factory zones, resource allocation, and any existing bottlenecks. As the super-brain of the Human Command Center, Murphy had all data meticulously stored, explaining everything with the familiarity of one reciting one's own history.

In the areas Yang Ying traversed, one frequently saw hundreds, sometimes thousands, of supply stations arranged in neat formations, forming a complete supply sector. These provided all manner of dining, accommodation, and recreation for the personnel stationed on the Floating Continent. Across the entire Human Domain, there were over two hundred such large-scale supply sectors, sufficient to sustain the needs of a million people.

Listening to Murphy’s report, Yang Ying couldn't help but recall that this area had been pure void just half a year prior, and now it thrived so robustly. Moreover, provided resources remained sufficient, this prosperity could perhaps double in scope soon, expanding ever further.

After surveying the area, Yang Ying bid farewell to Murphy and proceeded to the Protoss territory.

The civilizations of the Protoss and Humans showed stark differences, immediately apparent in their living environments. The Protoss held artistry and practicality in equal regard for their architecture. In Yang Ying's view, this bordered on flawless perfectionism. Their golden structures were aesthetically beautiful and fluid.

If Human architecture was characterized by right angles, resembling boxes or crates, Protoss buildings were comprised of graceful, complex curves, like the works of master sculptors. The addition of massive, inlaid crystal stones lent an air of mystery and opulent grandeur.

"Odyn!" Yang Ying called out.

"Leader Odyn's screen appeared before Yang Ying, who bowed slightly.

"Tell me about the recent status of the Protoss."

"Certainly, Leader."

Odyn then meticulously laid out the data Yang Ying wished to know. The Protoss received the least resources among the three races, yet they too had developed to a significant scale.

In their ground forces, the Zealot Legion already numbered thirty thousand warriors, complemented by twenty thousand Dragoon, twenty thousand Templar (equally divided between Light and Dark), and five thousand Arbiters (also equally divided between Light and Dark). Excluding the high-end combat power at the Master level and above, they were nearly comparable to the Ancient Legion’s higher primates.

In terms of air power, there were over ten thousand each of Scouts—those strangely shaped fighters requiring three population units—and Corsairs. Carriers and Arbitrators were still under construction.

Hearing this, Yang Ying inquired, "When will the Carriers and Arbitrators be ready for deployment?"

Odyn paused in thought, then quickly replied, "Carriers require another six months; Arbitrators, nine months."

"Six months?" Yang Ying’s flight faltered slightly in surprise. "That's half a year. Will that be the same time as the Human Echelon-class battlecruiser launch?"

"Leader, I have reviewed the Human’s revised battlecruiser construction schedule. According to the latest timeline on that revised draft, the Carriers can actually launch a week before the Human battlecruisers."

"A week earlier?" Yang Ying’s eyebrows lifted slightly. This sudden good news invigorated him. "How is that possible?"

"The reason is simple. The construction time for Carriers is more than two months shorter than that for battlecruisers. Therefore, although their initiation was later than the Humans', their completion will still precede the Human vessels."

Odyn’s voice remained utterly level, like a placid lake without a ripple. Yang Ying couldn't decide if this was calmness or simply a lack of...

However, Yang Ying quickly reconsidered. Within the solar system, the Protoss Carriers wouldn't possess much tactical advantage. As large warships, the Echelon-class battlecruiser was no inferior to the Carrier, and being derived from the Human line, they were inherently more trustworthy.

In contrast, the Arbiter’s utility seemed significantly greater.

Yang Ying chatted with Odyn for a few more moments, and before he realized it, he had arrived at the Protoss Temple. The three clones he had left on the Floating Continent resided here.

The Protoss were a species inherently possessing psychic energy, their understanding of mental power surpassing even that of the Khala Temple. Yang Ying’s clones spent their days and nights consulting with Arbiters and Templars regarding cultivation matters. Of course, the path to Mastery was one Yang Ying had to walk alone; it relied on insight, and the sheer quantity of knowledge had little bearing on achieving the Master realm.

While the Temple could not elevate Yang Ying to Master status, his three clones had completely mastered the martial arts and psychic abilities of the Templar during their training here.

At this moment, even if required to fight with dual blades like a Zealot or Dark Templar, Yang Ying would have no issue. He had practiced the dual-blade techniques until they were second nature, perhaps even superior in terms of move variation to the basic swordsmanship taught at the Khala Temple, given that he hadn't learned the advanced sequences there.

Since Yang Ying and his clones were fundamentally one, he was intimately familiar with the Temple grounds. He paused at the entrance for a moment, but not going in, he departed directly.

"Odyn, stand down," Yang Ying instructed as he reached the border between the Protoss and Zerg territories.

"As you command, Leader." Odyn’s light-screen slowly faded and vanished.

Yang Ying stepped into the Zerg domain. Before he could speak, a light-screen shot forth, and a voice echoed directly in his mind: "O Glorious Master, your humble servant awaits day and night to serve you. Today, you finally tread upon Zerg soil once more. Millions of Zerg here are your most loyal subordinates, ready to charge through fire and water at your command. Issue your orders to your most abject servant!"

This tone—a stark contrast to Odyn’s—was dramatically modulated, dripping with obsequious flattery, as devout as if proclaiming a universal truth. If it wasn't the Zerg Overmind, Baal, who else could it be?

"Lead the way. Show me the current state of the Zerg," Yang Ying dismissed Baal's fawning with a wave of his hand, ignoring the praises. Baal's screen immediately zipped forward.

The soil of the Zerg domain was covered by a purple Creep, and all structures were organs established upon this Creep, entirely living tissue. They breathed constantly, their surfaces rhythmically swelling and contracting to exchange air with the environment.

The Creep functioned like a vascular system, transporting all necessary nutrients to sustain the life force of the Zerg architecture. Even drone farmers needed the Creep to supply nutrients and energy to develop into structures.

In the sky above, countless Overlords drifted back and forth, exchanging various communications telepathically.

Swarms of Mutalisks beat their wings, weaving rapidly back and forth; their speed rivaled that of fighter jets. There were also larger, higher-tier aerial units, such as the Devourer—an evolutionary form of the Mutalisk, focused on anti-air—and the Guardian—another evolutionary form, focused on anti-ground, spewing yellow-green spore pods. They flew in formations of dozens, sometimes hundreds, blotting out the sky like crabs.

Everywhere Yang Ying flew past, large numbers of Zerglings and Hydralisks would emerge from the ground, their heads bowed, as if paying homage. However, Yang Ying knew clearly that these were creatures lacking true intelligence; their choreographed bowing was directed by the Overlords drifting overhead.

Occasionally, a few Lurkers would erupt from the ground, or a few Queens would fly overhead—these were advanced units possessing various innate talents. Though their numbers seemed small in localized areas, when viewed across the entire Zerg territory, they amounted to tens of thousands.

Yang Ying even spotted an Ultralisk. As the Zerg's ultimate unit, its combat prowess rivaled that of a Thor. Naturally, it wasn't currently needed, so not many had been manufactured across the entire domain.

The Zerg territory also contained large tracts of forest and swamps, preserving natural landscapes that remained untouched by the purple Creep. This was natural resource space Yang Ying had deliberately set aside.

After all, if one could utilize external resources, why deplete one's own? Yang Ying’s Terran Corporation purchased organic resources like timber and meat daily, transporting them to the Floating Continent via Protoss Stargates to fuel Zerg growth and reproduction.

Along the way, Baal meticulously reported the general development of the Zerg domain, lacing his report with overt flattery. Fortunately, Baal understood Yang Ying disliked excessive chatter, and upon noticing a shift in Yang Ying's expression, it immediately reverted to a serious demeanor.

After viewing the Zerg territory as well, half a day had passed. Having toured the domains of all three races, Yang Ying felt satisfied. After instructing Baal to retreat, he left the Floating Continent and returned to the real world.
