The members of the Huaxia Dragon contingent stationed at the Shidu Grand Hotel at this moment all wore expressions of deep gravity, as everything unfolding in Macau was clearly aimed at the government.

Ever since the Macau Commander ordered the lockdown of the three major thoroughfares, the trouble seemed to latch onto the three of them without end: orders from above, the clamor of the local government, and the resentment of the populace—it was all falling squarely on their shoulders.

"Long Wu, what are we to do now? If we keep delaying like this...!" Long Er's face was ghastly.

"What else can we do? Go straight after Chen An and that Zhou Hai for settling accounts!" Feng Wu looked thoroughly indignant, possessing the fiery disposition of a true femme fatale.

"Xiao Wu!" Long Wu sharply called out to Feng Wu. He briefly closed his eyes, drew a breath, and then stated, "We could go after them now, but without concrete evidence, and given that the entire city of Macau currently holds a neutral stance regarding the traffic blockade, we are completely powerless against those two."

"But...!"

"No buts! Don't forget, the higher-ups have explicitly commanded us: do not make any rash moves without sufficient proof, otherwise, any consequences that arise...!"

"Long Wu is right, but what do we do now? Zhou Hai's evidence of wrongdoing was seized by the Dragon Lord of the Black God Gang. After days of investigation, we haven't been able to uncover anything substantial!" Long Er sounded quite helpless.

It had to be admitted that Chen An and Zhou Hai were rather sharp; though perhaps not the brightest bulbs, their fear of their secrets being exposed kept them meticulously vigilant!

Meanwhile, on the other side, inside the Macau Commander's residence, two Chinese men and two young people were seated on the sofa, their faces etched with tension. The dark circles under their eyes betrayed sleepless nights.

Since learning that the proof of their crimes was now in someone else's hands, Zhou Hai and his group hadn't slept soundly. Some were startled awake in the middle of the night; some dreamed of being sentenced to life imprisonment; others dreamed of being caught by a squad of police officers right as they were passionately engaging with a beautiful woman.

It was clear that such a sordid group had sordid dreams.

"Commander Zhou, what are we going to do? The Dragon Gang is gone, and the Black God Gang has taken over Macau's underworld. They've achieved their goal, so why haven't we heard a single word from them?" Chen An was riddled with worry, as he was implicated in that evidence. If Yang Yi delivered it to the Central Authority, it meant execution or life imprisonment at best.

"How should I know what to do now?" Zhou Hai snapped back, looking irritable. Seeing Chen An’s expression, he understood his companion’s mood—after all, he felt the exact same urgency and unease, a sharp pain that pierced from his mind right through to his core.

"Commander Zhou, we can't just sit here waiting for death," Chen An suddenly stood up and addressed Zhou Hai.

"Do you have a brilliant plan?"

"No brilliant plan, exactly, but I do have a plan involving self-injury!"

"A self-injury plan?" Zhou Hai frowned upon hearing this, quickly urging, "Spit it out!"

"Commander Zhou, it’s actually like this..."

Just as Chen An was whispering something to Zhou Hai, a sleek, jet-black sedan pulled up in front of the Shidu Grand Hotel. The mere arrival of this car sealed the fate of Zhou Hai and Chen An. No matter what scheme they were currently discussing—that supposed self-injury tactic—it was likely to be utterly futile!

"Young Master, we have arrived," Feng Shi said with a faint smile, addressing Yang Yi, who had been keeping his eyes closed in the rearview mirror.

"Hmm?" Yang Yi slowly opened his eyes, glanced at the Shidu Grand Hotel, and stepped out of the car. "Is all the documentation ready?"

"It's all prepared!" Feng Shi confirmed.

"Good. Let's go in." A roguish smile played on Yang Yi’s lips, though his thoughts were inscrutable.

Feng Shi felt intensely helpless, remembering how many schemes and deceptions this specific, rogue-like smile had concealed over the years—how many times he had pulled off a masterful deception. This was the one expression of Yang Yi that others found utterly impossible to decipher.

This time, I'll grant you a favor done out of convenience, considering it a settlement for all past debts. But after this, be careful. Heh heh, one wrong move, and I might just drag you out from the shadows, Yang Yi thought malevolently as he walked.

The three members of the Dragon Group remained anxiously pacing in their room, unable to devise any viable response, as they fundamentally didn't know where to begin.

Suddenly, Feng Wu seemed to have an idea. "Fifth Brother, do we have another option?"

"What option?" Long Wu asked, puzzled.

"To go to Chen An and Zhou Hai's residences and search for evidence! Staying here idling away our time isn't helping."

For the first time ever, Long Er found Feng Wu's suggestion to be anything but nonsense, and he actually chuckled. "Feng Wu is absolutely right, Long Wu. As far as I see it, this is our only remaining path."

Long Wu paused, falling into contemplation upon hearing this. The current situation was clear: while the Dragon Group, being the most secretive entity in Huaxia, held immense authority, they could not cross certain lines. In the matter concerning Chen An and Zhou Hai, their issue wasn't a lack of evidence entirely, but a lack of sufficient evidence.

Could a few trivial pieces of evidence really be enough to topple a Commander and a Chief of Police, especially in an autonomous administrative region? Even the average person could see that the three Dragon Group members currently appeared utterly weak and ineffective, which defied logic.

Sometimes, even with high rank, one couldn't simply dictate terms. Especially the higher the rank, the more constraints one faced. This explained why the three currently gave off such a feeling of impotency.

"It seems this is the only way," Long Wu said, taking a deep breath, trying to untangle the knot of his confused thoughts. He turned to the other two. "Let's go out and investigate!"

"Right!" both responded in unison.

It was precisely at that moment that the doorbell rang—Ding-dong! Ding-dong!

"Who is it?" Long Wu called out, frowning at the sound.

"Mr. Long, there are two guests downstairs who wish to see you. They stated that a complete resolution requires you to meet them downstairs. Time is limited; if you don't come down within five minutes, they will leave. These were their exact instructions. Please, Mr. Long, come down and see them!" a waiter's voice came through the door.

Long Wu, Long Er, and Feng Wu exchanged glances, seeming to instantly understand each other's confusion. Long Wu stated, "Alright, I understand!"

"Fifth Brother, who on earth wants to see you?" Feng Wu asked.

"I don't know!"

"Could it be...!" Long Er's expression suddenly darkened.

"Let's go down and see," Long Wu said, as if he instantly grasped what Long Er was about to suggest.

A man and a woman sat sipping coffee in the large dining area downstairs. The man was rather refined, the woman strikingly beautiful, and together they looked perfectly matched.

Undoubtedly, Yang Yi and Feng Shi were the ones seated there. Seeing the Dragon Group members descending from upstairs, Feng Shi quickly alerted Yang Yi, "Young Master, they are here."

"Hmm?" Yang Yi took a sip of coffee, not looking at them, but instead smiling as he watched Feng Shi.

The descending Dragon Group members, after discreetly questioning a waiter, learned that the people seeking them out were none other than the Dragon Lord of the Black God Gang.

"Fifth Brother, why are they here to see you?" Feng Wu inquired doubtfully.

"I’m unsure. Let’s go have a look," Long Wu replied. He strode purposefully over and arrived at Yang Yi’s table, speaking with considerable courtesy. "Might I ask what important matter Mr. Yang requires of us?"

"Mm-hmm," Yang Yi responded with a slight smile, turning his head to cast a glance at them. "It's nothing major, really. My objective has been achieved; I merely have certain items to hand over to you."

"What items?" Feng Wu interjected before Long Wu could speak, stepping forward.

"What? Do I need to spell it out for you?" Yang Yi found Feng Wu’s question somewhat amusing. While he had only met these three from the Dragon Group in Huaxia, he had always been eager to test whether his Ten Army Generals were stronger, or if the Dragon Group held the upper hand.

"You...!" For some reason, Feng Wu always found this Yang Yi extremely irritating. Every time she encountered him, she felt an inexplicable surge of annoyance, an urge to teach him a lesson.

"Xiao Wu!" Long Wu shot her a warning look, clearly trying to suppress her impulsive action. He then turned back to Yang Yi with a polite smile. "Heh heh, thank you for your cooperation, Mr. Yang."

"That’s not quite right. It wasn't cooperation."

At these words, Long Wu and the others froze, seemingly unable to grasp Yang Yi's meaning.

As Feng Shi handed the incriminating evidence over to Long Wu, Yang Yi continued, "Tell the person behind you this: whether my past dealings with him were favors or grievances, consider this the turning point where everything evens out. I don't like owing anyone anything."

"..." Long Wu wasn't sure whom Yang Yi was referring to, but he felt he had an inkling of the truth. He smiled faintly. "Understood."

"Good that you understand!" Yang Yi bared his teeth in a slight grin, then stood up to leave with Feng Shi.

Seeing this, Feng Wu instantly looked as if she wanted to make a move, but Long Wu stopped her once again, silently admonishing, Xiao Wu, if you keep charging forward so recklessly, you’ll only end up hurting yourself!

"Hmph! Why should I? That guy is so arrogant! I just want to teach him a lesson."

"Feng Wu, I advise you to give up. He is not someone you can handle," Long Er stated, his eyes locked onto the departing Yang Yi. A look of fear, one that had never appeared on his face before, was clearly visible now.
