Ten's surge of murderous intent was palpable; she hadn't imagined those around her would dare bully her sister like this. If she hadn't witnessed it firsthand, it would have been unbelievable!
Gazing upon her sister's pained expression, the cold light emanating from her eyes grew ever sharper!
She, Anjiefiya, vowed to make this group regret every single thing they had done!
"You little brat, you dare do that again?" Barbara was still shouting, utterly oblivious to the danger closing in.
"You're doomed; my sister won't let you get away with this!" Emireda retorted stubbornly.
Today was different from any other day. Facing the bullying from these noble young ladies, she felt no fear, simply because she knew her sister would exact revenge for her, repaying them tenfold, a hundredfold!
"You talking about that little slut Betty? Go ahead and tell her; we really aren't afraid of her!" Barbara smirked coldly. She had her father backing her; nobody would dare touch her much. At worst, she'd just get a warning. Emireda ignored Barbara, as her peripheral vision had already caught sight of Anjiefiya approaching. She couldn't help but cry out, "Sis!"
Her trembling voice was thick with grievance.
At that moment, everyone noticed a perfectly built but utterly unfamiliar girl stepping onto the scene. Her attire was clearly not that of anyone from this academy!
"Who is that girl? I've never seen her before?"
"I don't know either. But it looks like we're in for a good show soon. I just wonder if she dares lay a hand on Barbara!"
"True, Barbara isn't just the academy's vice-principal; she's connected to many powerful figures. If someone dares strike her daughter, they probably won't have an easy life afterward!"
"I bet she's all bark and no bite. Maybe Barbara will take care of her too!"
The surrounding onlookers immediately erupted in discussion, none of them favoring Anjieliya.
"Who are you? Get lost! This has nothing to do with you!" one of the noblewomen, who was roughly gripping Emireda’s arm, snarled.
Anjiefiya wasn't about to waste words on her. She shot out a hand and grasped the noblewoman's wrist with incredible speed—so fast it was merely a blur to the eye.
Then came a distinct, sharp crack—the sound of something shattering!
What followed was the noblewoman's pig-like howl of agony, a sound so piercing it made everyone's scalp tingle.
Instantly, a strange aura permeated the air. Those who had been chattering moments before fell silent, staring at Anjiehiya with wide, disbelieving eyes.
"Heavens, she... she actually did it!"
"What... what did she just do? How is that wrist shaped like that?"
"Oh my god, am I... am I seeing things?"
Anjiehiya had merely made a slight move, yet she had instantly stunned everyone present. In their eyes, Anjiefiya had transformed into an Asura. However, they had no idea how fortunate that noblewoman was. If Robin had acted, it wouldn't have been as simple as just disabling one hand!
The noblewoman with the shattered wrist was still writhing in excruciating pain, large beads of sweat covering her face, her entire body convulsing on the ground in disbelief.
Anjieliya, however, didn't spare her a second glance. Her gaze locked onto another noblewoman.
The other three noblewomen were completely paralyzed by the sudden turn of events. They had bullied others for a long time and often met resistance, but never before had someone been instantly crippled in one confrontation. The shock and terror exceeded the limits of what they could process!
While the three were frozen, the other noblewoman let out a hysterical scream as Anjieliya executed the exact same maneuver, disabling her wrist as well.
At this point, everyone recognized the terrifying nature of this beautiful girl, who could casually disable two noblewomen without changing her expression. No one knew what she would do next.
Consequently, the surrounding spectators began retreating backward, as if distancing themselves from Anjiefiya was the only way to feel safe!
Barbara and the remaining noblewoman finally snapped out of their shock. They immediately released Emireda and began backing away rapidly. If the crowd hadn't blocked their exit, they would have fled in utter panic!
In their minds, this woman was terrifying. She attacked without uttering a word, and her strength was immense. A mere squeeze had twisted a wrist out of shape. Was she a monster?
"Sister!" Emireda looked at Anjiefiya with pure adoration, thinking to herself how amazing her sister was, terrifying those awful women in just two moves!
Emireda felt not a shred of pity for the two noblewomen convulsing on the ground. They deserved it. They had committed countless misdeeds over the years, and rumor had it they had even driven people to death. Keeping such people alive was a menace. Anjiehiya crippling just one of their hands was far too lenient!
Anjiefiya's expression only softened when she looked at Emireda. Without a word, she extended a hand, and a faint luminescence appeared in her palm. A gentle glow then began to assist Emireda in treating the swelling on her chest.
Emireda stared at Anjiefiya with her mouth agape, a single question revolving in her mind: Does my sister use magic?
She knew Anjiefiya well. Her sister had always been obsessed with swordsmanship and held no interest in magic. In her memory, Anjiefiya had never studied magic, yet the light now was unmistakably a healing spell!
Of course, this wasn't really so surprising. After following Zhong Shenxiu for so long, it would be strange if she couldn't use magic. Not only her, but Xia Luo, Reese, and others could also use magic, involving skills beyond just Light magic. Most of the magic they knew was practical, suited for survival outdoors: Light magic for healing wounds, Fire magic for starting fires, Water magic for cooking, Wind magic for flight, and so on!
After healing Emireda’s injuries, Anjieliya’s gaze settled again on Barbara and the noblewoman beside her. Frost immediately returned to her face. She had no intention of letting things end so easily. Based on what these noblewomen had said, this wasn't the first time they had bullied her sister. How could she let them just walk away?
Her sister was here to study, not to be bullied!
Perhaps influenced by Robin, she had developed a habit: if she strikes, she strikes decisively, going all the way!
"Wh-what do you want? I... I’m telling you, this is the academy, not some place where you can run wild!" Barbara watched Anjiefiya approach, her terror having reached an absolute peak.
The noblewoman next to her was clearly smarter. She first cast a chilling Ice-element spell, then desperately tried to burrow into the crowd!
She fully expected Anjiefiya to cripple her too; that cold glare terrified her to the extreme!
However, this small bit of cleverness was useless against someone else; against Anjiefiya, it was merely self-deception!
With a sudden burst of speed, Anjiefiya intercepted her path. Her technique was as clean and swift as before. Two sharp cracks echoed—the sound of the noblewoman's legs snapping!
This time, it wasn't just the noblewoman who screamed; Barbara shrieked in tandem. The nearby crowd once again scrambled backward, some even fleeing the scene entirely!
"Help! Someone, help!" After a brief moment of stunned silence, Barbara cried out, discarding all pretense of composure.
Almost the instant she finished shouting, Anjiefiya was beside her, looking down with a detached, icy gaze!
"You... you..." Barbara’s voice died in her throat as Anjiehiya seized her by the hair and hauled her away from the immediate area.
"Let go of me! Let go quickly!" The pain radiating from her scalp made Barbara fear her entire scalp was peeling off.
"You seem to enjoy grabbing people like this, don't you?" Anjiefiya finally spoke the first words since she began her assault.
The grimacing Barbara could barely manage to speak. Anjiefiya gave her no chance, raising her other hand to slap her across the face. This was revenge for her sister. You like slapping people, don't you? Well, this time I’ll let you properly experience what it’s like to be struck!
Anjiefiya’s strength was far beyond what a pampered socialite like Barbara could withstand. After just two hard slaps, her teeth began to loosen in her mouth.
"Stop this!" At that moment, a shout echoed from outside the crowd.
These people were none other than the security personnel responsible for maintaining order here.
When they first saw Barbara and the young ladies harassing Emireda, they had wisely kept their distance. Such matters were best ignored—offending the Vice-Principal's daughter meant they wouldn't have a good time working here later.
They had conveniently patrolled other sectors, avoiding both causing offense and taking responsibility. They usually returned once the fighting was over, assuming everything would be settled by then!
But this time was different. Not only had the fighting not stopped, but they had also heard Barbara’s desperate cries for help. This caused a major stir. It was one thing for others to get beaten, allowing them to claim they weren't on patrol; but if the Vice-Principal’s daughter was being beaten, this couldn't be swept under the rug so easily!
So, they rushed over and shouted a warning!
When they managed to push through the crowd and see the scene inside, they all gasped sharply. The situation was no longer a simple brawl!
What shocked them even more was the sight of the Vice-Principal's daughter suspended in the air, held only by her hair, her fate unknown!
Under normal circumstances, the arrival of law enforcement signaled the end of any conflict. But Anjiefiya, on this side of the confrontation, was far from ordinary!
