Marco Xin shook her head, though what crossed her mind was: So Sister Lina already went back? Then why didn't she tell me?

In truth, the reason Elena hadn't told her was twofold: time was tight, and she feared Marco Xin would insist on going along!

The father and daughter chatted for a while longer, then Donald departed. His visit was partly to gather news, but more importantly, to stock up on goods! He had already made a substantial profit from his initial purchases. This time, he planned to buy much more, aiming for another huge windfall!

Donald timed his arrival perfectly today; it was precisely when the "Dark Commerce Guild" was launching new products! These new items were inspired by recent insights Zhong Shenxiu had gained from reading books over the last few days.

Accompanied by his son, Cecil, Donald headed inside. Since he had previously set Cecil up with a membership, he assumed they wouldn't need to queue this time. However, to his surprise, while Cecil was exempt from queuing, Donald, not being a member himself, was not entitled to that privilege!

Donald was utterly frustrated. He regretted not spending the money for a membership card sooner. Now he had to queue again, and the line today looked even longer than last time!

"Dad, should I still go in?" Cecil asked hesitantly.

"Suit yourself!" Donald snapped before obediently joining the back of the line. He secretly resolved that he absolutely had to get a membership this time!

Cecil watched his father's receding back, then glanced at the continuous stream of people entering the hall. In the end, he couldn't resist the pull of curiosity and followed the crowd inside!

Meanwhile, Donald, standing in line, pondered Old Danny's affairs. Why was he suddenly moving? Weren't all of Old Danny's assets in "Gulu City"? Did he plan to retire and wash his hands of everything by moving?

Or perhaps he intended to develop things in this direction?

The more he thought, the less sense it made. Just then, a sweet, crisp voice suddenly sounded beside him: "Follow me, my Master has summoned you!"

Donald turned around and paused in shock. Wasn't this one of those two children? He remembered her name was Robin!

"You said who called for me?" Donald lowered his voice to ask. This was his first time speaking to Robin.

"My Master called for you. Follow me." Robin's expression was relatively amicable, and her tone wasn't overly cold.

Donald hesitated. He had finally reached a reasonable spot in the queue; if he left now only to return, he'd have to start over! After a struggle, Donald decided to follow Robin anyway. After all, this was the first time these two children had actively sought him out; perhaps some good news awaited. Maybe they had more "War Relics" to sell him, which would be a shame to miss!

It was fortunate he made that decision; otherwise, he would have missed the opportunity for a Martial Transformation to his later life!

Under Donald’s surprised and horrified gaze, Robin effortlessly led him right into the commerce hall. This time, no one stopped him. Once inside, the two didn't linger but proceeded directly toward the top floor!

The more this occurred, the more unnerved Donald became. He couldn't believe how smoothly he passed under Robin's guidance, as if they were invisible!

What was happening?

Where was she taking me now?

Question after question began to flood Donald's mind, yet he could find no answers!

Soon, the two arrived before a luxurious door. Pushing it open, Donald felt a sudden burst of light; the furnishings inside were even more opulent! However, Donald was in no mood to observe the decor now; his gaze had already settled on Zhong Shenxiu, seated near the window.

It was a panoramic, wall-to-wall window, exceptionally large, offering a clear view of the outside while concealing the interior from view. Zhong Shenxiu had spotted Donald using this very window!

"Young friend, what business do you have summoning me?" Donald inquired, full of curiosity.

"To discuss a transaction with you!" Zhong Shenxiu withdrew his gaze from the outside and said slowly to Donald.

A transaction? Donald clearly blinked. Did he really intend to sell me "War Relics"? Even so, Donald asked, "What transaction?"

"Do you want to join my 'Dark Commerce Guild'?" Zhong Shenxiu stared meaningfully at Donald's face.

Sure enough, Donald was startled by Zhong Shenxiu's words and took a long time to recover.

"Young friend, you... say that again!" Donald's eyes widened like bronze bells, and his voice trembled.

"Do you want to join my 'Dark Commerce Guild'?" Zhong Shenxiu repeated.

"You... you mean this Guild belongs to you?"

Donald's expression at that moment was like that of a country bumpkin who had never seen the world. He genuinely wanted to ask Zhong Shenxiu if he had a property deed, if he had an invoice... Yes?

"You can consider carefully before answering. You only have one chance!" Zhong Shenxiu kindly reminded him.

At this moment, Donald felt his heart racing wildly. Previously, he had only made modest profits by trading a few items here. If he joined this Guild, wouldn't the future earnings be boundless? He dared not contemplate what lay ahead, fearing he might pass out from excessive excitement!

"Oh, right, I can also tell you one more thing!" Zhong Shenxiu's lips curled into a sly smile. Without waiting for Donald to ask, he continued, "There's an old man named Old Danny you know, right? He has already joined my Guild!"

"What?" Donald suddenly roared, then realized his lapse in composure. He asked again, "You, you said Old Danny has already joined here?"

Seeing Zhong Shenxiu nod, Donald froze. The things that had puzzled him suddenly clicked into place: no wonder Old Danny was moving, no wonder he had that smug smile, no wonder he kept secrets from me—it was all because...

"Hey, old man, have you decided?" Zhong Shenxiu seemed to relish seeing others so astonished; it gave him a sense of accomplishment!

"I... I'll join too!" Donald's excitement had reached an absolute peak.

Upon hearing his reply, Zhong Shenxiu smiled and signaled to Robin beside him. Robin understood and took Donald away to discuss the relevant terms with Kenny!

Thus, Zhong Shenxiu gained another capable helper!

When Robin led Donald back, Donald was much calmer than before, but that was only on the surface!

"Have things been settled?" Zhong Shenxiu asked languidly.

"Everything is handled!" Donald replied spiritedly; the treatment here was far better than he had imagined!

"I will also give you ten days to finish up everything you need to handle."

...

Meanwhile, Cecil stood in the exhibition hall, looking at the astounding merchandise all around him, feeling as if he had entered the Immortal Realm!

The surrounding noise was intense; everyone was scrambling to buy the newly released goods. Infected by their frenzy, even Cecil longed to rush over and buy something, but his pockets were too shallow, leaving him only able to watch from the sidelines!

Just as he was lost in thought, he suddenly felt someone pat his shoulder from behind, making him jump. He almost cried out, but when he saw it was his father, the words caught in his throat and he swallowed them back down!

"Dad, you got here really fast!" Cecil was somewhat surprised. In his estimation, his father would have to wait in line for two or three hours just to get inside!

Donald was in a great mood now. He possessed a "Special Pass Card" and would never have to queue again. He was now a member of this Guild, just not officially on the payroll yet!

"Stop gawking and hurry up and follow me!" Donald urged.

"Where to?" Cecil was very confused and asked again, "Dad, aren't you buying anything? Those are brand-new releases over there!"

"Don't ask, just hurry up and follow me." Donald offered no explanation.

The two first circled the area near the commerce hall, finally spending a large sum to purchase a reasonably sized villa.

Afterward, they went straight to the "Stay-at-Home Magic & Martial Academy" and found Marco Xin again!

This time, before Marco Xin could speak, Donald cut her off: "Girl, go request leave quickly; we need to go back for a trip!"

Marco Xin was bewildered by her father's abrupt, nonsensical command and couldn't help but ask, "To do what?"

"We're going back to move too!" Donald said, barely containing the excitement surging within him.

The one thing he wanted to do most right now was rush back and see Old Danny's expression when he found out Donald was also a member of the "Dark Commerce Guild"!

"Why," Marco Xin hadn't finished her question when her brother interrupted her.

"Sis, Dad is now a member of the 'Dark Commerce Guild'! Our family is going to live well from now on!" Cecil exclaimed, utterly thrilled.

From the moment his father told him the news, he had been steeped in boundless excitement! Having stayed here for so many days, he understood just how formidable the "Dark Commerce Guild" was. It wasn't something just anyone could achieve by wanting to work there; their recruitment process was extremely strict; one slight deviation from the standard, and you wouldn't even get past the entrance! But once you officially became a member of this "Dark Commerce Guild," even a janitor could become a millionaire within a few short years!

Marco Xin stood there as if struck by lightning!

"Sis, I'm not joking with you; this is real!" Cecil added, fearing his sister wouldn't believe him.

Marco Xin finally processed the information and opened her mouth to speak, but suddenly her eyes fixed straight ahead, wearing an expression of utter disbelief!

Following the direction of her gaze, they saw three figures approaching in the distance—it was none other than Old Danny, Elena, and Laurent!
