Zant looked up, and his face instantly flushed crimson. The very people he dreaded seeing most were standing right before him!

“Young Master Viter, what a coincidence! I never expected to run into you here!” the youth who had spoken before said again, leveling a look of utter contempt at Viter, as if regarding some useless waste.

This man was named Yolu, and standing near him were several other youths, all watching the scene with the air of spectators at a show!

Viter wanted nothing to do with them and turned to leave, but Yolu grabbed him and yanked him back.

“Young Master Viter, wasting rations like this doesn't seem right,” Yolu sneered wickedly. “The Bianhucan family might be wealthy, but they shouldn't let scum waste food!”

Although the “Bianhucan Family” didn't rank among the top houses in the “Dongyue Empire,” it was a premier family in the “Mengwan City,” primarily engaged in running auction houses. The grand auction Faraday had mentioned earlier was indeed hosted by the “Xianghucan Family.”

Besides auction houses, the “Ninghucan Family” also operated numerous antique shops and jewelers, occasionally acting as agents for selling magic equipment!

No one would have guessed that Viter was one of the young masters of this “Ninghucan Family,” while Yolu was merely the steward's son within the house!

Perhaps people wonder why the son of a steward would speak to his master with such tone and attitude?

There was a reason: Viter’s mother was a low-status maid, and he was the result of his father’s drunken indiscretion.

This in itself shouldn't have been the issue. Despite his mother's humble origins, he was, after all, a genuine young master and should not have been treated like a servant!

However, the problem lay in Viter’s inherently bizarre constitution; he could neither cultivate Dou Qi nor learn magic! This was a profound disgrace to the “Bianhucan Family,” so even though Viter held the title of young master, even the servants dared to bully him!

As an aside: Many protagonists begin their journeys as innate failures, seemingly masters who endure scorn and abuse, only to vow to become strong and change their fate. Perhaps this is a trend, hence the inclusion of such a character here. While Viter shares this fate, he is not the protagonist, so readers need not despair!

Among the youths watching the spectacle near Yolu, several were also from the “Ninghucan Family.” One of them was even another young master, named Willie. Unlike Viter, however, Willie’s mother was the legitimate daughter of a major house, married honorably, and held considerable status. Furthermore, Willie was no innate failure like Viter; quite the opposite, he was immensely talented!

These individuals frequently bullied Viter within the estate, often treating him as a lackey, and they hadn't ceased tormenting him even upon arriving at the academy!

“Young Master Viter, you probably haven't eaten yet. This spot looks quite spacious; you can just crawl here to eat!” With that, Yolu shoved Viter forcefully, pinning him to the ground.

The food that had already spilled onto the floor was now smeared all over Viter’s face!

Viter endured it, clamping his mouth shut! His stubbornness kept him silent.

Yet, Yolu began viciously kicking Viter’s head with his boot, preventing him from looking up!

“Young Master Viter, how does it taste? Is the academy food better than what you have at home?” Yolu chuckled triumphantly while glancing at the three figures nearby, his expression conveying, Look how thoroughly I’ve put him in his place this time!

The three youths smiled without speaking, but a glint of satisfaction flickered in their eyes!

Willie thought viciously to himself: Dream on if you think you can stand as my equal! In my eyes, you’re less than a dog. Just watch. Sooner or later, I’ll play you to death, and your mother too!

The commotion soon drew the attention of other students, but not a single person stepped forward to intervene; they all watched with cold detachment!

However, some could not bear it. Wayne and his companions, finally snapping out of their stupor, dropped their bowls and chopsticks and charged forward!

Wayne was genuinely furious. Although he had bullied people before, he had never encountered anyone as repulsive as this man before him!

“Get your hoof off him!” Wayne’s voice preceded his arrival!

Yolu turned just as a fist shot towards his face. Due to the speed and suddenness, Yolu couldn't evade in time and took the blow squarely, staggering back several steps, his nose immediately beginning to bleed!

Wayne ignored Yolu, instead bending down to help Viter up from the ground!

“You—you dare hit me?” Yolu erupted in anger upon seeing his own blood.

“I hit a beast like you!” Wayne was inherently hot-tempered, and seeing a classmate treated this way, he could no longer tolerate it!

Furious, Yolu stopped wasting breath and threw a punch back.

But he had overlooked one thing: Wayne was not the only one charging. Paul and the others, seeing Yolu advance, rushed to meet him without exchanging words.

Yolu’s strength was not insignificant; he earned his place at the “Jialidun Magic and Martial Arts Academy” through genuine merit, not backdoors. But one fist could not contend with four hands, and the cramped space limited his ability to maneuver. He quickly found himself at a disadvantage!

“Don’t hold back, everyone! Beat the stuffing out of him!” Wayne threw his punches harder than anyone else.

Just as Yolu seemed about to break under the assault, Willie and his group, who had been watching, suddenly struck with a surprise attack, immediately knocking Wayne and his friends to the ground.

Seeing the tide turn, Yolu began viciously beating the fallen dogs. The attackers were already stronger than Wayne’s group, and now holding the advantage, they battered Wayne and the others until they were rolling helplessly on the floor!

And just then, several angry shouts echoed: “Stop! All of you, stop! I told you to stop, do you hear me!”

Following the shouts, several men in distinctive uniforms squeezed through the crowd. They were the orderlies from the cafeteria, rushing over as soon as the disturbance was reported. Upon arriving, these men immediately pulled the four of Yolu’s group apart.

“What happened here? Why the fight?” a man who appeared to be the leader asked sternly.

“They started it first!” Yolu interjected quickly.

“Spit out your horse manure! You started it!” Wayne cursed back.

“You dare say that again!” Yolu’s eyes turned red again.

“Silence!” the leader suddenly roared, then instructed those beside him, “Take them all away!”

This afternoon, Zhong Shenxiu was in a rare mood to attend his own class. It remained to be seen what reaction he would have when he learned his students were involved in a brawl and had been taken away.

Presumably, someone was going to be in for a terrible time...
