"Wen Yi, what's going on with the group?" The medical teachers stared, their eyes wide with sheer disbelief. Outside, bodies lay scattered everywhere, not a single one stirring!

A crowd was rapidly gathering, pointing and murmuring, every face etched with shock!

The teacher turned toward Zhong Shenxiu and the others, his expression clearly asking what had happened. But Zhong Shenxiu simply looked away, announcing instead, "That concludes today's class meeting!"

With that, he turned and left with Robin and Keni, abandoning the trembling students and a bewildered teacher behind them!

In the Dean's office, Lianaider was deep in a pleasant dream, imagining the academy reaching its zenith of glory!

Suddenly, a teacher burst in, frantic, forgetting even to knock.

"Dean, Dean, you must come see!"

"What is it? What happened?" Lianaider startled, snapping out of his reverie.

"Dean, something terrible has happened in the freshman teaching building! Please come quickly!" The teacher breathlessly relayed a quick summary of what he had witnessed.

"What?" Lianaider’s eyes widened threefold upon hearing the account. "You said... a 'bloodbath'???"

Following the teacher, Lianaider rushed to the scene, just in time to see numerous medical staff desperately trying to resuscitate several students!

At that moment, Lianaider froze. He hadn't anticipated such an incident on the very first day of school, and what troubled him most was that the injured, unconscious students all appeared to be from noble families. If mishandled, the academy's reputation would be ruined, not to mention the severe repercussions they might face!

"What in the world happened?" Lianaider asked, his face darkening. He had to get to the bottom of this; whoever the culprit was, they must be punished without mercy!

"Dean, these students all seem to have flown out of Class Four!" a teacher pointed towards the third-floor windows.

Lianaider looked up, indeed spotting a visibly shattered window in Class Four. Just as he was about to erupt in anger, his body stiffened—he suddenly remembered that "Class Four" was the very class taught by Zhong Shenxiu!

The teacher beside him, unaware of Lianaider's internal turmoil, continued, "Dean, this is a witness from just moments ago, and these are the students from Class Four who were unharmed."

Lianaider first turned to the witness, seeing he was the gardener responsible for the grounds. He couldn't help but ask, "What exactly did you see?"

He needed to fully grasp the situation before confronting Zhong Shenxiu. Though he had only interacted with Zhong Shenxiu twice, he knew a little about the man's temperament, and moreover, he and Zhong Shenxiu had an agreement: not to question how Zhong Shenxiu conducted his classes!

The gardener, a man in his fifties, looked pale, clearly shaken by the event. In a slightly trembling voice, he began, "I... I was trimming the flowers when I heard a tremendous 'CRASH'! I looked up just in time to see a student fly out of a third-floor window."

Having said this, the old gardener's breathing grew shallow, and his body began to tremble slightly.

"And then?" Lianaider pressed, trying to keep his tone gentle.

The old gardener seemed reluctant to recount what followed. After composing himself somewhat, he managed to continue, "Later, I walked over to investigate, and that’s when a dark shadow plummeted from the sky, nearly hitting me. I looked closely... it was another student! I didn't know what to do and just stood there frozen. Then more students started flying out one after another... I didn't dare stay, so I ran away."

"Is that all?" Lianaider frowned. After all that, not a single useful piece of information! The old gardener nodded.

Lianaider then ordered someone to take the gardener to the infirmary for recovery. Things were chaotic enough; he didn't want the gardener collapsing from shock!

After the gardener left, Lianaider shifted his gaze to Wayne and the others, asking again in a kindly tone, "Students, don't be afraid. Can you tell me what happened inside?"

However, these students regarded him with a bizarre look, none speaking a word. Their expressions seemed to convey: Those two little devils are your responsibility; surely you know what happened?

Lianaider didn't get angry, continuing patiently, "Don't worry, I just want to understand the situation. I won't give you any disciplinary action!"

Little did he know, these students were secretly hoping for some punishment—preferably expulsion!

Wayne and the others remained silent, projecting an air of absolute refusal to speak. They were genuinely terrified. If they spoke now, would those two demons come after them later? Thinking back to the scene, a chill still ran down their spines!

They wondered why, out of all the people available to be their teacher, they had to end up with two little devils!

Seeing he couldn't pry a single word from the students, Lianaider let them go. He rubbed his temples, intending to find Zhong Shenxiu for an explanation—as the homeroom teacher, he should know the whole story—but the problem was, he didn't know where Zhong Shenxiu was!

Although the cause of the incident remained temporarily unknown, the truth always finds a way out. After the intensive care provided by the medical staff, some of the less severely injured students woke up and, through tears and sobs, recounted the events!

When the leadership of the "Jia Li Dun Magic and Martial Academy" heard that the incident was instigated by Zhong Shenxiu’s assistant, acting under the homeroom teacher’s direction, they were all struck dumb, struggling to accept the reality!

Yet, with several students giving consistent accounts, they had no choice but to believe it!

This was no longer a minor affair; if handled poorly, the academy's reputation, built over decades, was at risk of being utterly destroyed!

The immediate priorities were clear: swiftly treat the injured students and absolutely save their lives; secondly, quickly prepare a plausible explanation for the parents; and most crucially, find the perpetrators and let the parents decide their fate!

Lianaider felt immense pressure. He was the one who had recruited Zhong Shenxiu as a teacher, and the other leaders were now demanding accountability from him. But he didn't even know where to find the man!

What on earth could he do?

Overwhelmed, Lianaider ran a hand through his already sparse hair, when suddenly, a spark of inspiration hit him.

He recalled Zhong Shenxiu’s deep interest in books; on the day of his interview, he had checked out several volumes from the library. Perhaps he was there now?

Even with the slimmest possibility, Lianaider began searching. Sure enough, after sweating through three different libraries, he finally located Zhong Shenxiu in a study room within the fourth library.

Lianaider was ecstatic; he nearly grabbed Zhong Shenxiu's hand! Thank heavens, I finally found him!

"Mr. Lianaider, is there something urgent?" Keni asked, looking at the panting, agitated Lianaider.

Lianaider nearly swooned. He couldn't fathom how these people remained so calm; didn't such a massive event warrant any tension?

Despite his thoughts, Lianaider refused to waste time on pleasantries and got straight to the point, detailing the entire incident and its gravity.

"You are very nervous, aren't you?" Zhong Shenxiu put down his book, fixing Lianaider with an unblinking gaze.

Damn it!

Lianaider blinked, taken aback by the question. Nervous? He was nearly ready to climb the rafters! If not for respecting Zhong Shenxiu’s formidable power, he would have grabbed him and dragged him before the other leaders!

"Well... this isn't just any issue, sir. Those parents will be showing up soon!" Lianaider managed.

"I will handle it!" Zhong Shenxiu remained perfectly placid!

Lianaider felt an urge to strangle Zhong Shenxiu. What did he mean, he would handle it? Could he possibly manage something of this magnitude? Why was he so impulsive, acting without a second thought!

Zhong Shenxiu, uninterested in further debate with Lianaider, stated again, "When the parents arrive, gather them all in one place. I will deal with them then!"

With that, he turned away from Lianaider and returned to his book! Lianaider was furious—he was a Dean, yet here he felt like a mere servant in front of Zhong Shenxiu.

However, he dared not provoke Zhong Shenxiu now, fearing the powerful young man might storm out—and no one could stop him then. If that happened, Lianaider would bear the entire responsibility!

Thinking this, sweat beaded on Lianaider’s brow. He asked with a fawning expression, "Um... you truly can resolve this?"

"Mr. Lianaider," Keni interjected smoothly, "If Little Xiu says he can handle it, he certainly can. You just need to follow his instructions. It absolutely won't implicate you!"

After a slight pause, Keni added, "Little Xiu dislikes being interrupted while reading. Perhaps you should go prepare now!"

Ugh!

Lianaider froze again. Were they effectively showing him the door?

Humiliated. There was no greater humiliation!

But if he didn't comply, what alternative did he have?

Meanwhile, the parents who learned their children were severely injured arrived, looking ferocious and generally accompanied by their own retinue of 'enforcers.'

"Son, who did this to you? Tell your old man! I’ll cripple that punk for you!"

"Oh, my child, how could you be hurt so badly!"

"Heavens! Which butcher did this to my little girl?"

Suddenly, the infirmary erupted in noise and chaos, thick with palpable murderous intent.

When Lianaider arrived and witnessed the scene, he felt his heart plummet yet again, questioning internally: Can this really be resolved?
