But very quickly, they realized things were not that simple; these school leaders seemed overly concerned about this boy. Could it be, could he truly be a teacher?
The world is vast and full of wonders! Yet, encountering a situation where a mere child, only a few years old, was made the teacher of a major academy was a first for all of them!
Strange as it was, they dared not ask more questions. After all, this was their first day working, and they certainly couldn't give their superiors the bad impression of being gossips!
After the school leaders briefly mentioned a few things they needed to pay attention to, the next item was the matter of class assignments!
Since they were all new teachers, their actual teaching proficiency was still unclear. Therefore, these newly hired teachers, including Zhong Shenxiu, would first start by teaching freshmen. After a period of observation to confirm their abilities, adjustments would be considered!
No one voiced any objection to this arrangement, and Zhong Shenxiu remained silent.
Next came the specific matter of which class to teach. Setting others aside, focusing only on Zhong Shenxiu.
Considering Zhong Shenxiu's uniqueness, and simultaneously wanting to better test his capabilities, the leadership committee decided to assign Zhong Shenxiu to the "Aristocrat Class"!
As for this so-called "Aristocrat Class," it was really only the name that sounded better. Every student within it had gotten in through connections, possessing little actual skill, and they were notoriously stubborn and difficult to manage—a class that was a major headache for the school administration!
Someone might ask: why group them together? Wouldn't that make management even harder?
In truth, there was no other choice. If these so-called aristocratic scions were allowed to study in regular classes alongside students who earned their spots through merit, it would only disrupt the pursuit of the ambitious students and frequently lead to friction!
Although such a class was hard to manage, it couldn't be eliminated because the faces of certain influential figures had to be saved.
Zhong Shenxiu had no complaints; teaching any class made no difference to him! Furthermore, he cared nothing for whether they were noble or not, and he was certainly not afraid of their unreasonableness, as he possessed a specific set of methods for dealing with such people!
The matter was thus settled: Zhong Shenxiu would teach the "Blade Class"!
Since the freshmen were busy with various induction tasks that morning, the homeroom sessions were all scheduled for the afternoon. Classes that couldn't be finished that day might even be postponed!
This so-called homeroom session was essentially just for introductions between teachers and students, reading out school rules and regulations, and electing class officers!
Setting aside what was happening in other classes, let’s focus on "Class Four"!
Although these students had only just met, their aristocratic backgrounds meant most were quite articulate. In a brief moment, they found kindred spirits and clustered into small groups, chatting about everything under the sun.
However, their conversation soon focused on a single topic: speculating on what kind of person their head teacher would be.
"Hey, I heard our academy has a lot of beautiful teachers, and many are single. I wonder if our class will..." Before the speaker finished, a lewd expression spread across his face.
"I prefer the mature type; if she were a bit curvier, that would be even better!" exclaimed another, even more dramatically, practically drooling.
"My requirement isn't high, as long as she’s beautiful."
"I think for you, as long as it's female, that's enough!"
"Get lost, watch out or I’ll beat you."
Wayne was unusually quiet today. He did not join the others' discussions. To him, it didn't matter who the teacher was. Right now, he was just thankful he hadn't run into those two little devils again!
However, one question still plagued his mind: how could those two little devils possibly be here?
Just then, the classroom door was pulled open. First, Leander walked in, announcing with a tone bordering on excitement, "Quiet down, everyone. We will now introduce your head teacher."
Initially, these students were extremely disappointed to see Leander, but upon hearing his words, hope was rekindled. They were truly terrified that this middle-aged man would be their homeroom teacher; that would have been utterly depressing!
At Leander’s nod, Keni, Zhong Shenxiu, and Robin walked in!
Many of the students’ eyes instantly locked onto Keni the moment she entered; their greedy gazes scanned her up and down!
"G-Gorgeous. Truly a beauty," muttered the previously lewd fellow.
Though these young men had seen countless beautiful women, they had never dreamed of someone as flawless as Keni!
In that instant, their primal, beastly instincts nearly erupted!
However, one person among them was an exception: Wayne. Upon seeing Zhong Shenxiu and Robin walk in, he nearly collapsed. His previously relaxed nerves instantly tightened again, his heart rate accelerated sharply, his breathing became difficult, and his pupils dilated wider and wider!
How could they be here? How could Qī be here? Wayne dared not believe his eyes. In that moment, he desperately wished he were dreaming, but reality always delivered a harsh blow!
"Next, I will introduce your head teacher to you all!" Leander suddenly announced. He hadn't anticipated that these new students, "small in stature, but large in lust"—he wondered who they learned such behavior from! Hearing this, the students immediately sat up straight, quietly fixing their gazes on Keni, wearing expressions that clearly said, 'Beautiful teacher, what is your name?'
But what they never expected was for Leander to point to the little boy beside him: "This is your head teacher. You can call him Teacher Zhong from now on!"
Instantly, everyone froze, mouths gaping wide, eyes bulging almost out of their sockets!
"And these two," Leander continued, ignoring their stunned expressions, "are Teacher Zhong’s assistants!"
These students seemed not to have heard, remaining stiffly staring at Zhong Shenxiu!
"Th-This must be a joke, right?"
"H-Have they made a mistake??"
"I must have misheard..."
"What is wrong with this world??"
These freshmen truly lacked worldly experience, and this new head teacher was almost impossible for them to accept!
It wasn't surprising; they had spent half an hour speculating about their head teacher, yet they never imagined such an outcome!
One could tolerate a male teacher, but couldn't they at least find someone with a proper beard? What was the point of getting a child? Were they treating them like idiots?
The more these students thought about it, the angrier they became!
Leander was oblivious to the students' internal turmoil. He smiled at Zhong Shenxiu and said, "Teacher Zhong, I have other matters to attend to, so I will take my leave now!"
Zhong Shenxiu merely nodded slightly, his eyes sweeping over every single person!
Not long after Leander departed, the previously quiet classroom erupted into chaos, a massive uproar filled with every kind of noise!
"What kind of garbage academy is this, trying to fool us with a child!"
"Go eat dirt! They think we're fools!"
"I'm going home to tell my father to shut this academy down!"
"No, I’m transferring out immediately!"
Truly, one stone had stirred up a thousand waves!
And a large portion of these students were merely looking for trouble and amusement—these pampered youths always found ways to seek stimulation!
Don't worry; Zhong Shenxiu would give them the stimulation they craved later, and plenty of it!
Wayne, knowing the depth of Zhong Shenxiu and Robin’s true nature—that their delicate appearances concealed monstrous strength—remained very quiet. He dared not utter a single complaint, barely daring to breathe, his eyes anxiously tracking the changes in Zhong Shenxiu's and Robin's expressions.
If he could, Wayne would leave this place right now! Yet, it was only a thought. Given ten times the courage, he wouldn't dare slip away rashly!
"Silence!" At that moment, Zhong Shenxiu, who had remained silent until now, finally spoke. His voice wasn't loud, but it carried clearly into every student's ear.
Everyone startled, and a real silence fell, all staring at Zhong Shenxiu with strange looks.
But this silence only lasted a moment before it was shattered by bursts of laughter!
"Hahahaha! This is killing me. Does this kid really think he's a teacher?"
"Ha! Is this kid's brain broken? He tells us to be quiet, so we obey?"
"A kid is teaching? I think we should just drop out and become professors ourselves, haha!"
Paul also wanted to interject, but before his words could leave his mouth, someone beside him tugged his sleeve. He turned to see it was Wayne and asked in surprise, "What's wrong?"
He and Wayne had just met and gotten along well enough to sit together. He hadn't expected Wayne to pull him at this moment.
Wayne didn't speak; more accurately, he didn't dare speak. He simply used his eyes to signal Paul, as if to say: Stop showing off, or you’ll be struck by lightning!
If they could communicate telepathically, Wayne would implore Paul: Buddy, stop being a fool. I used to be just like you, loving to act tough. But now I don't dare. Why? You'll find out soon enough!
Paul clearly didn't grasp Wayne's meaning. He tried to ask again, but seeing Wayne shake his head frantically, he swallowed his words, though his confusion only deepened!
Just then, Keni suddenly smiled and said something to Zhong Shenxiu that drew everyone's attention:
"Little Xiu, I'm going to call the nurse from the infirmary right now!"
With that, she actually walked out of the classroom!
The students exchanged bewildered glances, completely puzzled. Why call the infirmary teacher? Was someone injured here?
