And Bai Ling was shocked to discover that this man in red, much like a Mage, could command all the elements in the air using his own energy. Although he couldn't use those elemental forces to attack as a Mage could, the surrounding magical elements were significantly thinned out—nearly negligible—under the pressure of his wildly surging aura.

For Bai Ling, a Mage, the implications of this were self-evident. Magical elements are akin to a Mage's very lifeblood; without them in the air, a Mage is no different from an ordinary person, perhaps even weaker and utterly powerless.

What's more, the man opposite Bai Ling was already a God-level master. Sensing these changes enveloping him, Bai Ling’s complexion instantly grew paler. This, she realized, must be the true energy possessed by a God-level master. She should have anticipated this long ago; even the Sword Saint possessed his unique Sword Saint Domain, so surely the domain of the Sword God, who is far more terrifying than the Sword Saint, must be even more formidable.

As for the Sword Saint's domain, it could only weaken the Dou Qi of opposing warriors within a certain space. This was terrifying specifically to warriors, but it had little effect on Mages, because no matter how powerful the Sword Saint was, he could not interfere with the magical elements in the air.

But the Sword God’s domain was even more dreadful. Not only could it interfere with a warrior's Dou Qi, it could actually disrupt the omnipresent magical elements in the air—this was simply unbelievable. In truth, if Bai Ling had been prepared beforehand, she could have at least used her Water Spirit Staff to counteract the enemy’s domain release to some extent.

Even if she failed to succeed, she would at least have had time to react and escape the domain's influence.

It was simply because Bai Ling had never truly witnessed a Sword God's domain before.

Thus, she hadn't anticipated that the Sword God's domain would be so monstrously potent, nor that its activation speed would be so swift. Now, even realizing it was too late to react.

A tragic look welled up in Bai Ling's eyes as she watched the figure in the air draw closer and closer, yet she was utterly helpless. She could even clearly see the ferocious expression on the man's face.

At this very moment.

A dazzling golden light abruptly appeared beside Bai Ling, slicing through the overwhelming sea of red with a jarring contrast, surging towards the red-clad man hanging in the air.

It was Dick, who had been standing silently nearby, who had finally moved.

And his movement was so powerful, his aura clearly far superior to when he first encountered Mo Han and the others.

It seemed that over these past few days, Mo Han had used the knowledge gleaned from those ancient secret texts to continuously spar with Dick. While Mo Han’s strength had improved significantly, it had concurrently pushed Dick’s strength forward as well. After all, if one spends their days honing skills against a Magus of the God level who cultivates both magic and martial arts, it would be truly strange if Dick showed no progress.

Therefore, Dick felt immense gratitude towards Mo Han and Bai Ling. Seeing Bai Ling in peril now, Dick, despite knowing he was weaker than his opponent, resolved to fight desperately, hoping to hold out until Mo Han arrived, though he couldn't fathom why Mo Han had been gone so long without reappearing.

Upon seeing the aura emanating from Dick, the man in red remained expressionless, only a flicker of disdain crossing his eyes. Dick’s energy might seem powerful to others, but to a God-level expert like himself, it posed absolutely no threat.

Furthermore, his domain was already fully unleashed. Within the surrounding space, any creature’s strength was likely reduced by a full tier. Although the man in red couldn't understand how Dick seemed unaffected by his domain and could still unleash such potent energy within it, he felt no fear. Instead, his momentum quickened. The Bloodthirsty Demon Sword in his hand pulsed with eerie red light, seemingly ready to extinguish that faint golden light at any moment.

Bai Ling watched the bizarre red glow from the man in red’s hand, her heart pounding with tension. She knew Dick could ignore Mo Han’s Dou Qi, but Mo Han was merely a Sword Saint, whereas the man before her was a genuine God-level master. She worried whether Dick’s strange attributes would hold up against such a being.

Yet, despite her anxiety, Bai Ling could offer no aid and could only fret internally. Just then, the golden ray, without any fancy maneuvers, collided head-on with the Bloodthirsty Demon Sword in the red-clad man’s grip. The golden light clearly paused momentarily against the red radiance.

Seeing this, Bai Ling’s heart sank; it seemed her worries had materialized. While Dick could resist the Dou Qi of the Sword Saint Mo Han, he might not be able to withstand the assault of the now God-level man in red.

A look of smug satisfaction immediately surfaced in the eyes of the man in red. No one could survive the threat of the Bloodthirsty Demon Sword; even a Demigod Beast like Dick couldn't.

But in the next instant, the smugness in the man in red’s eyes morphed into surprise, and then outright disbelief. He discovered that although his Bloodthirsty Demon Sword had halted the enemy’s advance, the strange Demigod Beast had not been obliterated into dust by his divine artifact. That golden light was still tenaciously intertwined with his Bloodthirsty Demon Sword.

Then, the golden light was seen to unnervingly circumvent the sword’s obstruction and swiftly dart toward the man’s face. Even so, the man in red remained unconcerned, for he had already deployed a robust protective Dou Qi field around his body.

He was confident that even if the golden light struck his protective Dou Qi, it could not possibly harm him. However, the man in red never expected this bizarre golden light to pass through his protective Dou Qi field without even the slightest pause, continuing unimpeded toward his face.

His protective Dou Qi surrounding his body was, to this golden light, nothing more than flimsy paper, pierced effortlessly. This utterly surpassed the man in red’s expectations, which accounted for the trace of disbelief in his eyes earlier.

Moreover, the force contained within that golden light was so immense that even the man in red, having cultivated to the God level, would hesitate to take the impact directly on his face. But the golden light, having broken past the Bloodthirsty Demon Sword, was moving too fast; in the blink of an eye, it was right upon him.

Mo Han had been caught off guard and injured by this exact move from Dick previously. Now, Dick’s strength had increased considerably. Even the current Mo Han, under similar circumstances and at such close range, probably couldn't dodge Dick’s attack.

But the man in red was, after all, a peak God-level entity, his power immeasurably higher than Mo Han’s. At this critical juncture, he still managed to react. His head began to twist impossibly to the left just before the golden light struck, and his neck suddenly elongated by a full segment.

This phenomenon looked exceedingly bizarre, as if his head had detached from its proper position, but because of this, Dick’s golden light missed its target, whizzing past the edge of the man in red’s face.

The man’s head instantly snapped back to normal. He looked at Dick with surprise and spoke, “What kind of monster are you? How can you be Dou Qi immune, and how can even the Bloodthirsty Demon Sword fail to harm you?”

“I told you, my name is Dick,” Dick replied quickly from mid-air. “God-level masters are indeed formidable. Under such a sudden assault, my full-power strike still failed to harm you in the slightest. You truly are an abnormal freak.”

Hearing Dick’s words, a flash of excitement crossed the face of the man in red—the look of someone finding a worthy opponent. Although Dick was only a Demigod Beast, his bizarre speed, combined with formidable defense and Dou Qi immunity, made him a passable opponent.

Thinking this, the man in red turned to face Dick and laughed excitedly, “Haha, it’s been a long time since I encountered such a strange magical beast. You can reluctantly be my opponent. I hope you don't disappoint me.”

He showed absolutely no concern for Bai Ling behind him. After all, a Saint Archmage with only a trace of remaining magical power was, in the eyes of the man in red, no different from a frail girl. Though Bai Ling was truly strong, she wasn't a God-level Mage and couldn't cast high-level spells within his domain. Even if she managed to cast two low-level spells, they would be less than a tickle to the God-level man in red.

Conversely, Dick before him was the one who truly piqued his interest. However, the man in red was unaware that Dick was secretly struggling. While he managed to bypass the man's Dou Qi barrier earlier, his opponent was a Divine Beast after all. For a Demigod Beast like himself to force his way through that Dou Qi came at a considerable price; his body couldn't achieve complete immunity to the opponent's Dou Qi, and he had sustained some minor internal injuries.

Naturally, he couldn't let the man in red know this. Thus, Dick’s aura continued to emanate undaunted, locking horns with the man opposite him. Dick knew perfectly well that if he showed even a hint of weakness now, he would be subjected to a furious onslaught of attacks. Given that his body couldn't fully negate the enemy’s Dou Qi, he knew exactly what the consequences would be.

Just then, the man in red moved again. This time, however, he was clearly more cautious, holding back a fraction of his power. This way, even if Dick truly ignored his Dou Qi, he would have time to react.

It seemed Dick’s earlier show of strength had its desired effect. Although the man in red was arrogant, he still respected Dick’s Dou Qi immunity and dared not unleash his full might.

This naturally slowed down his attack speed. For Dick, whose speed was already incredible, this was undeniably good news. Sometimes, the victory or defeat between two sides hinges on the slightest subtle difference.

Dick exploited his advantage of speed being in no way inferior to his opponent's, engaging the man in red in a delaying battle. This enraged the man in red, who let out frustrated roars, but he could do nothing about it.

Under normal circumstances, no one could manage what Dick was doing. The man in red attempted to condense his Dou Qi in the surrounding air, hoping the resulting pressure would slow Dick down. Against any other opponent, this pressure created by the man in red would have caused their speed to drop.

But for the Dou Qi-immune Dick, having dared to charge through the intense Dou Qi on the Bloodthirsty Demon Sword earlier, he certainly wasn't afraid of the weaker Dou Qi suspended in the air. The spatial pressure generated by the man in red was naturally far less potent than the Dou Qi emanating from his body itself.

Since Dick could break through the man's own Dou Qi, he cared even less about the pressure generated by the surrounding air. Therefore, Dick avoided direct confrontation entirely, constantly circling and daring not to pause. All that was visible was a streak of red and a streak of gold intertwining rapidly, but the red streak could never quite catch the gold one. This chase continued for a long time.

Seeing this, Bai Ling marveled silently. She hadn't expected a mere Demigod Beast like Dick to be able to stall the attack of a Divine Beast; it was truly beyond expectation.

Yet, Dick’s heart was filled with worry. The man in red had only been holding back because he was wary of Dick's Dou Qi immunity. Even so, Dick felt the resistance was taxing. If the opponent were to stop holding back and use his full power, Dick knew he wouldn't be able to dodge as easily; he would only have the option of enduring the blow head-on.

At this critical moment, the man in red let out a sudden cold snort, and the speed of the sword in his hand drastically increased. Clearly, Dick’s stalling tactics had infuriated him, and he decided to discard all caution and strike with full force—this was exactly what Dick had feared most.

As a result, Dick suddenly felt the pressure surge tenfold; he could no longer evade attacks with ease and was constantly on the verge of being struck by the Bloodthirsty Demon Sword. While a single blow wouldn't be fatal, repeated strikes meant Dick’s body couldn't completely withstand the damage from the sword, and his movements gradually slowed.

This new situation made things even more perilous. Dick’s speed decreased, but the Bloodthirsty Demon Sword in the man in red’s hand did not slow down at all. With this disparity, the sword found it increasingly easier to connect with Dick’s body. The man in red evidently resented Dick’s previous antics, unleashing a furious barrage of strikes upon Dick’s body.

Bai Ling, watching from the side, recognized Dick’s plight but remained utterly helpless, her face etched with anxiety. She wondered what was taking Mo Han so long inside? Only the man in red truly understood the full picture; it was no wonder he had so confidently allowed Mo Han to enter his lair—he had already made preparations.

Gazing at the slowing Dick, annoyance and triumph gradually surfaced in the man in red’s eyes. The fact that a Demigod Beast had kept him occupied for so long through mere evasion had infuriated him. Now that Dick was about to die by his hand, the man in red felt an unparalleled satisfaction.

Just as the man in red was reveling in his triumph, he abruptly sensed a magical fluctuation behind him that sent a deep tremor through his heart. The man in red knew this energy could not possibly originate from the pale woman behind him. To release such potent magic within his domain without being affected meant the caster had to be at least a God-level powerhouse.

Besides the young man from before, it could be no one else. However, the man in red had not expected Mo Han to break free so quickly and was completely unprepared until the danger registered.

Following the instinct of a master, the man in red let out a fierce roar, twisting his body impossibly in mid-air. He then frantically shifted to the side. Just as his body moved away, a massive, seven-colored, glowing ice spear materialized precisely where he had been standing.

But the man in red had already moved, so the ice spear missed its intended target. It continued its trajectory unabated into the sky, swiftly dissolving into countless magical elements and vanishing without a trace.
