Liander felt extreme doubt regarding Zhong Shenxiu's words, but at this point, he could only proceed with what he had!
After considerable effort, he managed to gather all the parents in a large lecture hall, and then Liander hurried off to fetch Zhong Shenxiu!
Zhong Shenxiu remained perfectly serene; this expression didn't waver even the moment he stepped into the hall!
Liander had intended to follow inside to see how Zhong Shenxiu intended to placate these parents, but he was stopped by Kaini just outside.
"Mr. Liander, perhaps you should wait here. It won't take long!" Kaini smiled, and the door was already closing behind her.
Liander was powerless. At this critical juncture, he dared not anger Zhong Shenxiu and the others! He had to endure it. Whose fault was it but his own misfortune!
Fortunately, he wasn't kept waiting long—only about half an hour—before the door opened, and Zhong Shenxiu emerged looking as if nothing had happened.
Liander immediately stepped forward, about to inquire about the situation, but Zhong Shenxiu cut him off first.
"You can rest assured; the matter is resolved!" With that, Zhong Shenxiu walked away without looking back, taking Robin and Kaini with him.
Liander stood there dumbfounded, still struggling to believe what Zhong Shenxiu had said—that he had resolved this urgent affair so quickly? He glanced back and suddenly noticed something amiss. Where were all the parents?
Did his 'resolution' mean...?
A shock jolted Liander, and he rushed toward the entrance. Peering inside, he was relieved to see that everyone was still alive. But then he quickly noticed the bizarre sight: why were all the parents deathly pale and trembling uncontrollably?
What on earth had transpired in there?
As for these questions, Liander knew that even if he asked the parents, they wouldn't speak of it. This event had now become a secret held only between them and Zhong Shenxiu!
Yet, just as Zhong Shenxiu had predicted, the parents truly stopped causing trouble. After confirming that their children were out of danger, they simply left, not a single one demanding to take their child home, nor did anyone mention 'transferring schools or classes'!
Even the school administrators were utterly astonished. In all their years of service, they had never witnessed anything so peculiar! Involuntarily, a sliver of curiosity and deep respect for Zhong Shenxiu began to form!
This single day was enough to prove Zhong Shenxiu’s capability. First, his ability to single-handedly subdue so many students demonstrated his formidable strength. Second, his power to make those parents, whose backgrounds were far from simple, obediently depart showcased his true mastery!
The school officials had initially planned to promote Zhong Shenxiu to a head teacher position for a higher grade level immediately. However, considering the potential dissent from other teachers and their worry that Zhong Shenxiu might resort to violence again, they decided to postpone the decision for another month or two!
Thanks to the timely resolution of this "bloody incident" and the academy’s intentional suppression of the news, the event was not widely publicized. Although rumors circulated occasionally, others treated them as mere jokes and didn't take them seriously; it was believed that within a few days, no one would mention the incident again!
Over the next two days, other classes began their formal lessons, but Class 'Blade' spent the entire time on self-study. This was partly because the injured students had not yet recovered, and partly because Zhong Shenxiu had no time to teach them every day!
Wayne and the others were perfectly content with this arrangement; they were delighted that Zhong Shenxiu wasn't around, allowing them to relax and chat amongst themselves. If Zhong Shenxiu were present, they likely wouldn't dare breathe too loudly!
"Vade, I saw several people surrounding you today. Who were they?" Deputy Monitor Daisy asked curiously. She had inadvertently glimpsed Vade cornered by a few ill-intentioned individuals, making it look like they were bullying him.
Vade blinked, then his expression darkened. He forced a smile. "It's... nothing!"
Vade, appointed by Zhong Shenxiu as the student in charge of daily affairs, was a quiet person, though diligent. He had been responsible for cleaning the classroom for the past few days, behaving nothing like a spoiled noble heir!
"Vade, if you have any trouble, tell us. We're friends now, and we’ll certainly help you!" Paul noticed Vade's troubled demeanor and knew he was hiding something, quickly adding.
Although they had only known each other for a few days, having weathered hardship together, surviving the incident, and all serving as class officers, they had already become close acquaintances!
Those who hadn't been knocked down by Robin were decent sorts. While they were pampered and had their flaws, they were generally easy to get along with, loyal, and certainly not given to plotting or trickery!
"Yes, those guys were clearly ganging up on Vade because there were too many of them!" Daisy chimed in.
"Who are those bastards? Are they trying to pick on our class because we’re small?" Wayne struck a pose of righteous indignation.
"It's, it's really nothing!" Vade insisted quickly.
Seeing that Vade truly wasn't going to elaborate, the others dropped the subject and changed the topic!
Soon, the bell rang for the end of class, and their Teacher Zhong had still not arrived!
"Vade, come on, let's go eat together. If we're late, we won't get good seats!" Paul suggested.
A look of hesitation crossed Vade's face. This was the fourth time Paul had invited him; he had used various excuses to decline the previous times.
"Yeah, we brothers are missing you!" Wayne also invited him.
Looking at their sincere eyes, Vade finally nodded in agreement, inwardly praying that those people wouldn't come looking for trouble again!
They shouldn't have been too late, but when they reached the cafeteria, they still had to stand in a long queue.
Although the cafeteria was vast, it couldn't handle the sheer number of people. However, one advantage was that they offered various distinct cuisines, with a dedicated serving window for each flavor. Every student could choose according to their preference.
After securing a table, Wayne and the others went to different windows to get their food. Vade, however, looked indecisive, constantly glancing around as if on guard, but eventually, he too went to get his meal.
Wayne and the others had arrived earlier, so they finished quickly. They had already been eating for a while when Vade carefully carried his tray over.
"Vade, we were waiting for you!" Paul called out.
As Vade tried to hurry the last few steps, someone deliberately stuck out a foot, causing him to lose his balance instantly. His food flew out of his hands and crashed onto the floor.
"Oops! My apologies. I didn't realize our young Master Vade was dining here too!" a voice suddenly rang out.
