Blaze quietly repeated Mo Han's words, then spoke with a smile, "Your manner of speech, sir, is truly unique and commands admiration."

It was evident that Blaze offered this praise from genuine appreciation for Mo Han.

Meanwhile, Bai Ling was long accustomed to Mo Han occasionally delivering words that seemed touched by the heavens. After spending so much time with him, she had adapted to his way of speaking, so she wasn't overly surprised. She merely cast a meaningful glance at Mo Han, a flicker of unusual light dancing in her eyes before instantly returning to normal—a subtle shift missed by both Blaze and Mo Han.

"Oh, right, I almost forgot."

After saying this, Mo Han began rummaging through his spatial ring.

A short while later, Mo Han’s delighted voice rang out, "Heh heh, found it! Thankfully, I tucked this letter into my spatial ring before coming in. If I’d kept it on me, this letter would probably have turned to ash along with my clothes."

As he spoke, Mo Han retrieved a letter from his spatial ring—the very one Bai Ling had entrusted him to give to Blaze before entering the Death Forest. He gently offered it to Blaze, explaining that his recent promotion had left him so excited that he had simply forgotten about it until this moment.

Seeing the look of sheer confusion on Blaze’s face, Mo Han understood that no matter how powerful Blaze's master was, he likely never foresaw any connection between Mo Han and Bai Ling. Heh, otherwise he’d truly be a celestial being, Mo Han thought, feeling a slight surge of pride. At least this proved there was one thing Blaze’s master had failed to predict.

Yet, Mo Han maintained a gentle smile as he spoke, "Don't look at me like that, Lord Blaze. You will understand everything once you read the contents of this letter."

Blaze nodded lightly upon hearing this, taking the letter before him and slowly beginning to read. The moment he broke the seal, a trace of intense emotion crossed his face.

Following that initial reaction, Blaze’s expression cycled through countless shifts.

However, Mo Han and Bai Ling could both sense the profound agitation churning within him. To their surprise, they noticed Blaze’s eyes were slightly red-rimmed—so much so that Mo Han almost thought he was hallucinating.

This was because, after reaching the Divine level, individuals gained tremendous control over their demeanor and expressions, making significant emotional fluctuations—especially those of overwhelming joy or sorrow—rarely visible. Such displays were considered highly unusual for established Divine powerhouses.

For a mere letter from Rou Xue to cause the Divine-level Blaze to lose composure so completely demonstrated just how high Rou Xue’s standing must be in his heart.

After what felt like a long pause,

Blaze finally regained control of his emotions. Taking a deep breath, he turned to Mo Han and Bai Ling with an apologetic air. "I never imagined you two were friends of Rou Xue. Heh heh. By extension, that makes you friends of Blaze as well. I haven't heard from Rou Xue and the others in so long that I lost my composure just now. I hope you both can forgive my lapse."

Mo Han and Bai Ling naturally shook their heads to indicate their understanding. After saying this, Blaze lowered his head, seeming lost in thought.

Seeing this, Mo Han and Bai Ling dared not interrupt, settling instead to sit beside him in shared silence.

Is this old fellow planning to have us sit here staring into space for an entire day? Mo Han thought with a touch of helplessness, looking at the still-dazed Blaze. For Blaze, a Divine-level Divine Beast, a day was as fleeting as a single yawn in the scope of their long lives, which was precisely what worried Mo Han.

Thankfully, Blaze’s contemplation did not last too long. Moments later, he slowly drew a dark, obsidian ring from his person and placed it before Mo Han. With Mo Han's current cultivation as a God of Magic, his perceptive abilities had significantly sharpened, and he could instantly detect a faint ripple of magical energy emanating from within the ring.

Mo Han became instantly curious. This unassuming ring appeared to be a spatial ring, yet spatial rings, due to their isolated internal dimensions, shouldn't emit any detectable magical fluctuations—otherwise, Mo Han wouldn't have considered hiding Dick inside one earlier.

The fact that he could clearly sense a subtle magic wave from this spatial ring meant only one thing: something inside must possess an incredibly potent magical signature, strong enough to bleed through the dimensional containment of the spatial ring. Mo Han gasped internally, wondering just how astonishing the power of that artifact must be.

Bai Ling, however, lacking the strength of a God of Magic—though she was at the pinnacle of Saint Magister—could sense nothing unusual. She simply looked at Blaze with a puzzled expression, wondering why he suddenly produced such an ordinary-looking ring.

Noticing their shared look of confusion, Blaze smiled and began to explain. "This is a spatial ring, a treasure left behind by my master. I believe what you seek should be stored inside. Everything held within are the more significant artifacts recovered from the Azure Ruins. While they are all precious items, they are of little use to me now. I present them to you both; they should prove helpful."

Hearing Blaze's explanation, Mo Han and Bai Ling exchanged surprised glances. Mo Han quickly regained his composure, his mind working rapidly. It seemed Blaze had mistaken them for the typical adventurers seeking the treasures of the Azure Ruins.

Although Mo Han and Bai Ling’s primary objective hadn't been the buried treasure, Mo Han had intended to see if he could procure some artifacts from the Ruins if the opportunity arose. However, upon learning that Blaze had already reached the Divine Beast level, Mo Han had abandoned that thought entirely.

It was absurd to think he could pilfer items from something guarded by a Divine-level magical beast, especially one that had just indirectly aided his promotion to God of Magic. Therefore, Mo Han had focused solely on completing the Dragon Clan's mission, holding no lofty expectations for the treasure, feeling the artifacts were insignificant compared to his recent breakthrough.

But a free offering changed the equation entirely. The Azure Ruins were rumored to be the sole remaining ancient site left by the Gods of Antiquity, surely containing many valuable treasures. Mo Han couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement and astonishment at Blaze’s generosity.

In the half-day he had known Blaze, the Divine Beast had first helped him achieve the rank of God of Magic and now offered him a hoard of treasures for seemingly no reason. While Mo Han was fond of wealth, he wasn't a fool; he understood that nothing came without cost, and there had to be a motive.

Despite the temptation, Mo Han instantly suppressed his excitement, ensuring no expression betrayed his inner turmoil. He spoke slowly to Blaze, "Lord Blaze, you misunderstand. These are treasures left by your master; how could I dare accept your master’s relics? Furthermore, you have already done me a great service. I thank you sincerely for your kind offer."

Blaze immediately grasped Mo Han’s reservations. Indeed, if someone suddenly gifted him a mountain of treasure without cause, he too would suspect ulterior motives. With a knowing smile, Blaze shook his head. "You needn't hold back so much. These things are not entirely without cost. I have a few conditions. Only if you agree to them will all the treasures from the Azure Ruins become yours."

Conditions. That's much better, Mo Han thought, his eyes narrowing slightly. He feared a situation where no explanation was offered, which was the most unsettling scenario. Since there were conditions, there was no hidden conspiracy. Blaze likely meant him no harm, or he wouldn't have assisted his promotion earlier.

With that thought, Mo Han smiled outwardly, saying, "Lord Blaze, you are too kind. You simply need to state what you require; why offer such extravagance? It makes me feel quite awkward."

Despite his words, Mo Han showed no hesitation with his hands, quickly reaching out to secure the dark spatial ring, fearing Blaze might retract the offer.

Seeing Mo Han's eager movement, Blaze couldn't help but chuckle lightly. "You truly are an interesting person, heh heh. Set your mind at ease. Since I have given it to you, I won't take it back. Now that you have accepted my gift, you should be ready to hear my terms?"
