"Teehee, Grandpa, don't worry, I won't mess with you, because there's someone who's even better at messing with you than I am," Li Qian said with a mischievous smile.

Principal Li’s face was etched with suspicion as he glanced at Li Qian; her smile was utterly—spine-chilling. And seeing Yang Yi’s ambiguous grin only made the goosebumps rise until they nearly fell right off his skin.

"I'll ask you one more time: are you refusing to help me, or is there another solution you haven't mentioned?"

Yang Yi’s unwavering gaze and suggestive smile sent a shiver down Principal Li’s spine. He instinctively looked over at Murong Lianxue, whose sweet smile was disarming. Damn it, an extra problem is worse than no problem at all?

Having made up his mind, he sighed. "Forget it. Maybe I owe you a fortune from a past life. I can help, but here’s my absolute limit: I’ll prepare an exam paper from this year’s college entrance examination. If she can answer every question correctly, then this matter can be easily resolved. After all, it’s not easy for me either."

"Old man, that’s not helping at all! How can an eight-year-old child possibly…"

Before Fatty Lin could finish, Ye Xiaohou and Xu Ming chimed in: "Exactly! Old man, you can refuse to help, but I swear, I’ll go spread the word across the whole school—our principal seems to be in a great mood today, actually teaching us about that Lin girl who fell from the sky, tsk, tsk. I wonder what the consequences will be?"

"You brats, are you threatening me?" Principal Li seemed genuinely irritated, his expression instantly turning cold.

"Alright, old man, as long as she passes the test, you’ll help her apply for enrollment, right?" Yang Yi inquired.

"That's right. If she passes, everything else is negotiable," Principal Li said, seemingly having no faith that Murong Lianxue could pass. He pulled out a few test papers and handed them to Yang Yi. "Three papers. You have two hours."

Yang Yi took the papers, smiled slightly, and asked Murong Lianxue, "Lianxue, two hours. Can you manage?"

"Hmm? Is this a test?" Murong Lianxue pouted her little mouth and asked.

"Yep. If you fill out this paper, you can go to university with Brother Yi," he replied.

"Okay, I’ll write it!" Hearing that she just needed to complete the test paper to go to university with Yang Yi, Murong Lianxue immediately agreed, her small face bright with excitement. Thereupon, Murong Lianxue picked up a pen and sat down to answer the questions diligently.

"Brat, come here with me for a second," Principal Li suddenly called out to Yang Yi.

A grin split Yang Yi's lips; he wondered what the old man was up to now. He followed him toward the balcony. Fatty Lin and the others exchanged glances, shaking their heads as they looked toward the balcony, appearing equally puzzled.

"Brat, who exactly is that little girl?" Principal Li asked eagerly once they reached the balcony.

"What is it, old man? It's rare to see you interested in someone else," Yang Yi chuckled lightly.

"Don't beat around the bush, kid. Tell me quickly—who is she? I have a strange feeling she’s not simple." Principal Li, it must be said, was an old-school powerhouse, and his observational skills were certainly sharp.

Yang Yi glanced at him with surprise, then revealed Murong Lianxue’s true identity. As he spoke, the old man's expression shifted dramatically. He knew of the Eight Great Sects of Huaxia, but the Four Great Sects were mere legends to him, not something he’d witnessed firsthand. Hearing that the little girl was a disciple of the Xuanmen of the Four Great Sects sent a genuine tremor through him.

"Kid, what have you been through these past five months? I never expected you to actually become the leader of the Xuanmen of those Four Great Sects!" Principal Li said softly, but his face was grave.

Yang Yi knew exactly what worried him. The Four Great Sects of Huaxia had always been rivals, perpetually on the brink of conflict. While such clashes seemed unlikely right now, one could never be certain about the future.

About an hour later, Murong Lianxue suddenly stopped writing, laughing happily as she brought the three completed test papers over to Yang Yi. "Brother Yi, I’m finished."

"Oh? That fast?" Principal Li's face registered surprise; he couldn't quite believe it.

"Why don’t you just look for yourself?" Yang Yi retorted, giving him a half-annoyed look. "Here are the papers. I guarantee she’ll pass. For her university application, just put the same one as mine—Fudan University in Shanghai!"

"Fudan University in Shanghai?" Principal Li was momentarily stunned, then quickly grasped the implication. He shook his head. "You certainly have big ambitions, kid!"

Yang Yi couldn't deny it with a slight smile. He turned to Fatty Lin and the others. "Let’s go!"

The afternoon passed quickly; Yang Yi and his group merely wandered around. Regarding the announcement of the exam results, they appeared completely unconcerned, radiating confidence.

As twilight slowly began to fall, they found themselves at the headquarters of the Black God Gang’s branch in Jiangsu Province.

Yang Yi sat in his office, reviewing a stack of documents on his desk, while Murong Lianxue sat on the sofa, looking bored, constantly puffing out her cute little cheeks, deep in thought. Her bright, watery eyes occasionally darted toward Feng Shi and Zhou Hu, who stood nearby.

Yang Yi smiled faintly as he read the material. Since eliminating the Black Dragon Society’s influence in East China, the Black God Gang had grown continuously stronger. The number of novice and senior members was rapidly increasing, and it wouldn't be long before the gang officially regained the stature it held twenty years prior.

However, the one thing that puzzled Yang Yi was the silence from the Dragon Gang and the Green Gang in South China, even though East China was now clearly the Black God Gang's domain. The Crown Prince Party in North China was suspiciously dormant.

"A game of unwritten rules, is it? Fine then, I’ll play along," Yang Yi murmured to himself before remembering the Black God Gang members stationed overseas in America, Britain, and Japan.

"Yanran, besides Feng Jiu, where are Long Yi and the others right now?" Yang Yi inquired.

"Young Master, Long Yi is in Britain, commanding three thousand Black God Guards. Progress there is currently slow. Long Er, Long San, and Long Si have successfully gathered two thousand members in Rome, Britain. Though they haven't been fully vetted by us yet, their initial scale is gradually growing," Feng Shi stated after a moment's thought.

"As for Long Wu, Long Liu, Long Qi, and Feng Ba, they are in America. Development there seems difficult because of interference from the Holy See and the influence of the Dark Council. Currently, they’ve only managed to establish a small company there, with around a thousand personnel."

"Oh?" Yang Yi let out a soft gasp upon hearing this. His current influence truly lacked a clear developmental trajectory. Perhaps I have been too hasty! With a plan forming in his mind, he commanded, "Immediately notify the Ten Generals. Halt all current operations and redeploy swiftly to assist Long Yi in Britain. Have them wait there for further orders. Heh heh, the world always seems so quiet right before a storm."

"Yes!" Feng Shi acknowledged and exited.

After flipping through a few more documents, Yang Yi turned to Zhou Hu. "Have you managed to contact that batch of arms dealers I mentioned to you last time?"

"Yes, there is a major arms dealer operating in Southeast Asia. Does the Dragon Lord require…" Zhou Hu asked hesitantly.

Yang Yi was delighted. "Do you have their details?"

"I do!" Zhou Hu pulled out a file and handed it to Yang Yi.

Yang Yi quickly scanned the information. In Southeast Asia, there was an arms kingpin who controlled the largest arms manufacturing base in the entire region. They could produce everything from A-47s to 20mm cannon shells, even heavy artillery, and the quality of their output surpassed standard military-grade weapons used in Huaxia.

This Southeast Asian arms kingpin was an African man, known for his lust and greed, as well as being cunning and vicious. He was notorious in global underworld circles; any criminal involved in the arms trade who didn't recognize this kingpin was effectively unqualified. This arms kingpin’s name was ‘Tatalide.’

"Dragon Lord, should we cooperate with him?" Zhou Hu asked, sounding skeptical.

Yang Yi glanced at him, seeming to see straight through his apprehension. "I understand what you mean. Indeed, for the Black God Gang to associate with arms dealers at this stage is risky, given our current sphere of influence. But that is not my ultimate goal!"

With that, Yang Yi thought to himself, It seems this summer vacation is going to be very interesting.

"Your goal?" Zhou Hu truly couldn't fathom Yang Yi's intentions.

Presently, the Black God Gang possessed few firearms, mostly just small handguns. This level of firepower put them at a disadvantage compared to other major gangs in Huaxia. Moreover, in the underworld, large quantities of arms were essential, as brute force couldn't solve every problem. However, if the Black God Gang officially connected with an arms dealer, given the gang’s operational territory, it would be a massive business venture, inevitably entangled with vast interests. A misstep could invite considerable trouble.

"Don't worry, I have my own plans," Yang Yi said with a profound smile, glancing at Zhou Hu. "Uncle Zhou, you’ve worked hard while I’ve been away."

"Heh heh, it’s nothing. I’ve simply done what I could," Zhou Hu dared not claim any credit in front of Yang Yi, especially since Yang Yi had avenged the loss of his son. Thinking of this, Zhou Hu’s expression suddenly dimmed.

Seeing this, Yang Yi understood his mood. He walked over, clapped him on the shoulder, and said, "Uncle Zhou, I know how you feel. I can only say that whenever you feel the need for a break, just tell me, and I will arrange it immediately."

"Yes, thank you, Dragon Lord," Zhou Hu replied, his heart warmed by Yang Yi’s words. Though he didn’t know Yang Yi deeply, he could tell at this moment that he was a wise leader.
