Baili let out a startled gasp; clearly, she hadn't expected herself to suddenly fly up, and worse, to be heading straight for that terrifying little girl! Kashiu was also momentarily stunned by the sudden turn of events.

It wasn't that he didn't want to stop it, but it happened too quickly and too abruptly; even if he had the will, he lacked the power! A Sword Saint, rendered so powerless against a little girl—if anyone heard of it, they’d surely laugh their teeth out!

Everyone else was equally dumbfounded by the sudden shift. Those who had witnessed Robin's prior display of might were somewhat prepared.

The newcomers, especially the hotel owner, had eyes so wide they nearly popped out of their sockets! They simply couldn't comprehend how a perfectly fine person could suddenly take flight, and of all places to go, they were flying right toward the muzzle of a gun—wasn't that seeking death?

But now, Loris was dangling in the air, her neck held fast in Robin’s small hand, looking utterly distressed! She tried to fight back, but the strength within her seemed to have vanished; she couldn't move an inch.

The only parts of her capable of motion were her mouth and her eyes! Robin stared at her coldly, her gaze seeming to say: Weren't you so arrogant just a moment ago?

Why aren't you shouting now? Shout again, and I’ll choke you dead!

“Let... release our young lady,” a brave guard called out, his voice trembling, though his body remained rooted to the spot!

He was one of the newer arrivals who hadn't witnessed the majesty of Robin’s power yet, so his level of shock was comparatively limited. Hearing the guard's shout, Kashiu snapped back to reality, though his tone was much more deferential: “Please, release our young lady.” Now he was forced to use the word "please," because he knew that even if all of them went up at once, it would be useless.

The depth of this little girl's strength was unfathomable, and more importantly, she showed no restraint in her actions—one wrong move, and they could all end up dead! Robin remained silent, looking straight at Kashiu, making it impossible to guess what she was thinking.

The hotel owner had learned his lesson by now. He kept quiet; it was wisest to say less at a time like this, lest he invite trouble upon himself!

The hotel could be rebuilt if it was smashed, but if people were gone, everything was lost! “We apologize for our previous actions.

Please release our young lady,” Kashiu requested again, though his eyes were fixed on Loris. Watching Loris’s face turn progressively redder from the strain, Kashiu’s heart tightened.

Yet, he dared not rush forward, as he had no confidence in his speed or strength; he feared his rashness would only anger the little girl, possibly resulting in Loris being “snapped” on the spot! “Please, overlook the faults of a petty person with your magnanimity,” Kashiu was forced to swallow his pride and beg again, because if anything happened to Loris, none of them would escape unscathed!

Just as he finished speaking, to his delight, Robin actually let Loris go. Did their pleading actually work?

Loris stumbled when her feet hit the ground, nearly falling over. She was gasping for air, having genuinely believed she was about to die!

Just as she thought everything was fine, just as she began plotting her revenge against these people, just as she started to walk back—Robin’s emotionless voice suddenly rang out: “Take one more step, and I will kill you!” Gasp A chill shot down Loris’s spine, from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. The leg she had just started to move dared not touch the ground; it remained suspended in mid-air.

After a long moment, she pulled it back! She was genuinely terrified of Robin; she wouldn't gamble with her own life.

She turned, looking at Robin with confusion, about to question her, but Robin preempted her! “Apologize.” Though it was only two words, they sent a tremor through the listeners' hearts.

Loris stared blankly at Robin. Though she was petrified now, bowing her head to apologize to these commoners in public was something she simply couldn’t do.

“D-do you know who I am?” Loris asked, feeling extremely insecure. She tried to use her status to make Robin hesitate.

“I am the Duke’s daughter. If you dare lay a hand on me again, I guarantee you—” “Apologize!” Robin cut Loris off directly, her tone still completely devoid of emotion.

This was the current Robin. Since gaining Keni, she had changed significantly.

In the past, she would have beaten the person until she was satisfied before saying so much unnecessary nonsense! “I can give you whatever you want, but if you dare show me disrespect again—” Loris’s words were cut short by a terrible scream from her own lips.

“Ah!” A pig-slaughtering howl erupted from Loris, and her entire body collapsed onto the floor, writhing around. Large beads of sweat poured down Loris’s cheeks.

Her face was as white as a sheet of paper. Looking further down, one of her feet was severely deformed, as if struck by a tremendous impact—it was clearly broken!

At that moment, Robin’s voice sounded again— The voice was still emotionless, her eyes fixed directly on the rolling Loris, showing no more concern than she would for a discarded banana peel on the roadside! The atmosphere on the fifth floor became so oppressive it was hard to breathe.

They stared blankly at the fallen Loris. “Wha—what just happened?” Their minds were filled with this single question.

They truly couldn't fathom what had occurred. Their eyes had been intently focused on Robin, and they hadn't seen her move at all, so how had Loris’s leg broken?

Even Kashiu, the chief guard, was frozen at that moment, forgetting that the one crying out in agony was his mistress. Bizarre.

Everything was happening too bizarrely! Though they didn't know the mechanics of it, they could all guess it was connected to Robin.

Looking at Robin now, a cold dread rose in all of them! “I won’t let you go!

I will definitely have my father send men to kill you all! You just wait!” Loris snarled viciously.

She had already lost all sense of reason due to the pain. She had forgotten she was still at Robin’s mercy.

But this response was clearly not what Robin wanted, so her other leg also contorted into a deformed shape before their very eyes. “Aaaah!” Another scream echoed.

Loris no longer even had the strength to writhe; she fainted on the spot. Noven and the other youths had never witnessed such cruel destruction of beauty.

They all felt their hearts nearly stop beating and managed a difficult swallow. Now they truly understood the terror of these two children; they were more demonic than demons.

They felt certain they wouldn't have been this ruthless themselves! Seeing Loris pass out from a distance, Kashiu felt his scalp tingle.

As more time passed, he grew increasingly aware of the little girl’s terrifying nature! Even with his Sword Saint abilities, he couldn't discern how the little girl had attacked.

What shocked him even more was that she hadn't used any Dou Qi (Aura/Spirit Energy) the entire time, clearly not having revealed her true strength! What truly chilled him was that the little girl didn't even blink when she resorted to violence!

Just then, a scene they hadn't anticipated unfolded: a sphere of water materialized out of thin air before Robin and struck Loris, jolting the unconscious girl awake again! “Apologize!” Robin’s voice commanded once more.

Loris no longer dared to cause trouble. She looked at Robin with wide, terrified eyes, her lips trembling uncontrollably.

She had never been this afraid in her life; tears finally streamed down her face. However, she clearly hadn’t grasped one essential fact: tears would not make Robin stop!

And so, one of her arms was broken right then and there! “Let’s charge in!” A guard suddenly roared, immediately drawing the sword at his waist.

They all knew that if anything happened to Loris, they, the guards responsible for her safety, would face a terrible end! Spurred by his emotion, a few others responded.

Seven or eight guards not only drew their longswords but also pushed their Dou Qi to its absolute peak! “Charge!

Kill this demon and save the young lady!” With that, the guards surged toward Robin, radiating murderous intent. These guards were all from the newer group; they hadn't witnessed Robin tormenting Kashiu, otherwise, they wouldn't have been so impulsive!

Kashiu, due to his lapse in attention, hadn't time to stop them. By the time he reacted, the guards had already rushed forward, and it was too late to intervene.

“It’s over,” Kashiu’s heart sank, already anticipating the fate of those guards. They had been severely punished just for trying to drive off the others; attempting to kill the opponent now was undoubtedly a path to certain death!

Robin looked up at the guards hacking their swords toward her, her expression still utterly placid. Loris, lying on the ground, felt a surge of hope seeing someone finally coming to her rescue.

Enduring the intense pain, she painfully dragged herself with one hand toward where her guards were headed. She held a slim hope: that once she reached these guards, she would be safe, at least temporarily.

She had never craved protection so desperately in her life! That was what she thought, but the next moment, she stopped moving.

She stared with wide, horrified eyes at the guards who had just been about to save her. The hope that had just begun to blossom in her heart instantly withered and vanished!

The other onlookers were equally stunned by what they saw, their faces displaying a terror no less profound than Loris’s!
