Robin smoothly extended his arm. In that instant, the fattest man in the mercenary group was hoisted into the air.

“What in the world is happening? Pull me down, quick!” The fat man thrashed about, like a drowning man struggling in the water.

Although the others snapped to attention at his shout, it was already too late for them to help, as the fat man was already seven or eight meters high!

Robin seemed to take particular pleasure in targeting the bulkier ones, perhaps because their size made them more conspicuous, or perhaps because it was just more gruesome to watch. Whatever the reason, the fat man’s fate was sealed!

Just as everyone craned their necks upward to stare at the unfortunate man, a horrifying and bloody scene unfolded: the fat man suddenly burst apart, just like an egg being crushed. Blood and gore rained down in a deluge, drenching the men standing below.

This single spectacle stunned everyone into silence, including Xia Luo.

Though Xia Luo had killed before and witnessed brutal combat, she had never seen anyone die like this. A cold dread washed over her scalp, and a wave of nausea churned in her stomach!

From a distance, Angelia and Lis were equally aghast. The visual shock deeply impacted their young minds. Only now did Angelia truly understand what Zhong Shenxiu had told her earlier: You’re going to lose your appetite in a moment!

She didn't just lose her appetite; she nearly vomited up everything she had eaten!

But perhaps the most shocked were those mercenaries drenched in the bloody spray. A comrade who had been standing perfectly fine moments ago was now reduced to this gruesome spectacle—a scene only imaginable in the deepest pits of hell!

And they remained utterly unaware that the one standing before them was a harbinger of death summoned from that very abyss!

Silence descended, thick and deep, like a tomb in the dead of night!

No one knew how that fat man had died, nor did they dare contemplate it, for that image was like a constant knife carving away at their rationality, courage, and confidence!

If the dripping blood on their bodies weren't a stark reminder, they might have convinced themselves it wasn't real, merely an illusion!

In truth, the fat man’s demise was hardly mysterious; it was merely Robin utilizing the power of his "Repel-Attract" bracer.

Everyone knew Robin’s wrist guards possessed both "repulsion" and "attraction" forces. When these two forces were stacked simultaneously upon an object, they generated immense compressive pressure!

The fat man had been crushed to death under this very "squeezing force"!

It was a pity he never even got to touch a beautiful woman’s soft hand before meeting his untimely end—a tragic and untimely exit!

But don't mourn the fat man, for you won't be alone for long; your wicked friends will soon join you in the afterlife. Just wait!

As everyone held their breath, barely daring to exhale, Zhong Shenxiu suddenly addressed Robin: “Robin, leave them whole bodies. We’ll need them later!”

Zhong Shenxiu had no intention of letting such perfectly delivered "Skeleton Warriors" go to waste!

No one should call Zhong Shenxiu and Robin cruel. These scum before them deserved no pity. If they were allowed to live, countless innocent women might fall victim to their hands in the future!

In this world, sympathy for the wicked is cruelty towards the innocent!

Zhong Shenxiu might not be a grand emissary of justice, but if villains cross his path, he has no issue sending them straight to hell to take up permanent residence!

Zhong Shenxiu’s casual remark struck the group like a thunderclap. They hadn't expected this young boy intended to slaughter them all.

Who was this child? A demon?

They prided themselves on being ruthless killers, yet compared to the sheer coldness displayed by these two children, their own deeds seemed insignificant.

While these men were still stunned, another figure began to float upward: the barrel-chested man, likely the stoutest among them after the first fat man perished.

“H-help me!” the stout man shrieked, tearing at his throat, desperate to avoid the fate of the first victim.

It turned out, however, that his demise was utterly different.

As he screamed and struggled, a ball of flame suddenly erupted around his body, instantly engulfing him.

A pained howl echoed from above, perfectly complementing the scene, turning everyone’s faces ashen and raising every hair on their bodies!

Soon, the man’s cries ceased, and the flames around him died down.

When they looked again, this man was even more terrifying than the first fat man—a ghastly, charred ruin beyond human recognition.

With a dull thud, the stout man plummeted to the ground. He was no longer fat, as the heat had incinerated all the excess fat from his body!

To be honest, this method of death was arguably worse than the first one. At least the fat man had gone quickly, feeling no pain at all.

Before the onlookers could even recover from this second shock, something else happened that sent tremors of fear through them.

The body of the man who had just been burned began to twitch. At first, the movements were slight, but they soon grew more pronounced, as if the corpse were convulsing violently!

The mercenaries instinctively backed away several paces before stopping, their eyes stretched wide in sheer terror—

What was happening? Was he not dead yet?

Despite the question looming, not a single person dared to approach and investigate!

And then, an even more bizarre sight unfolded. The charred skin of the figure lying on the ground began to crack open, revealing the bone structure beneath.

Unbelievably, the exposed bone was as white as snow, utterly devoid of any residual blood!

In moments, a full Skeleton Warrior crawled completely out of the corpse.

“This… this is…” The leader’s jaw chattered uncontrollably. He was clearly witnessing the creation of a Skeleton Warrior for the very first time!

Never mind his lack of prior experience; even the widely-traveled Fu Luo had never seen this before! Xia Luo’s grip on her sword was visibly shaking now, and her face was as white as if dusted with flour.

“Necromancer, there’s a… a Necromancer here!” Someone finally shouted the realization aloud.

Immediately, everyone began frantically scanning the surroundings, for anyone with basic knowledge understood that a Necromancer usually remained hidden during an attack.

It was at that precise moment that Zhong Shenxiu’s voice cut through the panic again: “Are you looking for me?”

When the crowd turned toward Zhong Shenxiu, they froze. Standing respectfully beside him was the newly formed Skeleton Warrior.

“You—you are the Necromancer?” The mercenaries were close to losing their minds.

How was this possible? Could this little boy truly be a Necromancer? But weren't Necromancers supposed to be cloaked and masked? And didn't Necromancers fear sunlight? So how could this boy be standing here in the light…

No matter how they looked at him, they could not reconcile Zhong Shenxiu with the image of a Necromancer!

Although Zhong Shenxiu offered no verbal explanation, his actions confirmed it: he was a genuine Necromancer! (Though perhaps a slightly mutated version, to be precise…)

A cloud of black gas suddenly manifested around Zhong Shenxiu, flickering like hellfire. Then, with lightning speed, the black vapor shot toward the man who had just asked the question.

The speed was astonishing; the black gas had barely vanished from Zhong Shenxiu’s side before it enveloped the other man!

“Aaaah!” A heart-wrenching scream tore from the victim’s throat as he collapsed, writhing on the ground.

Some tried to rush forward to beat back the noxious cloud, but when they saw the victim’s skin visibly liquefying before their eyes, they instantly recoiled.

These men were already disloyal opportunists, and now they scattered far away, terrified of catching the contagion!

After a short while, the man on the ground stopped moving, though thick, sickening white foam continued to bubble from his mouth.

No one doubted Zhong Shenxiu’s identity any longer; this boy was a bona fide Necromancer. Of course, if one preferred a different term, they could call him the "Demon of the Shadows"!

Though they didn’t know the name of the technique Zhong Shenxiu had just used, a Necromancer capable of extinguishing a life in the blink of an eye without uttering a single incantation was certainly no ordinary magic-user!

These mercenaries had briefly considered a desperate escape attempt, but realizing Zhong Shenxiu's identity extinguished that hope—fleeing from a powerful Necromancer was pure folly!

Their only remaining option was a final, all-or-nothing stand: kill this Necromancer, and perhaps they might live! Yet, they were unaware that the little demon standing before them was far more than just a Necromancer!

“Brothers, we fight them to the death!” Under the absolute threat of annihilation, the leader finally roused a flicker of fighting spirit, delivering his final address!

These men now had no inclination left to admire Xia Luo’s alluring figure; every eye was locked tightly onto Zhong Shenxiu!

At that moment, Zhong Shenxiu also delivered a brief address, though it was directed solely at Xia Luo: “Hey, woman, isn’t it time you pulled your weight?”

Before Xia Luo could respond, the mercenaries charged forward like a maddened mob!

Xia Luo paused for a beat, then finally snapped back to reality. Though her heart still trembled from the horrors she’d witnessed, her expression quickly settled back into its initial stern resolve.

Seeing the rush, she darted forward to meet them!

Xia Luo’s true strength was unleashed now. The killing strokes and brutal techniques she had dared not use during her sparring sessions with Angelia were now deployed with devastating effect!

Though the mercenaries were coarse, burly, and intimidating, they stood no chance against Xia Luo, the leader of the “Cloud Splitter Mercenary Group.” Moreover, her power had significantly increased under Zhong Shenxiu’s training these past few days; these riffraff were utterly outmatched!

Zhong Shenxiu and Robin watched Xia Luo fight in quiet stillness, showing no sign of offering assistance.

Just then, a high-pitched scream erupted from behind Zhong Shenxiu—it was Angelia’s voice.

Zhong Shenxiu turned in shock, just in time to see Angelia brandishing her longsword and charging directly into the thick of the melee!
