Upon arriving at Old Danny's, Charlotte received a warm reception from Elena and the others. However, when she stated her purpose, Elena and the rest were utterly dumbfounded! “You—what did you say?” Elena could scarcely believe her ears. To suggest they were responsible for killing everyone in the 'Twin Axe Mercenary Group'? Heavens above, what wicked, black-hearted soul had framed them?

“It wasn't you?” Charlotte sensed something amiss from their expressions. She had harbored doubts all along, and now she was even less inclined to believe it. “Absolutely not!” Thomas couldn't help but interject. “It truly wasn't us!” Qie Xiang also rushed to defend them.

This exchange only deepened the suspicion in Charlotte’s heart. Could it be that he had been deceiving her? The strange, unsettling smile of Zhong Shenxiu immediately flashed across her mind. Thinking of Zhong Shenxiu’s behavior, Charlotte felt that anything was possible in this situation.

Just then, Elena couldn't resist asking, “Commander Charlotte, why would you suspect us? Who told you this?” In Elena’s view, such a serious accusation could not have arisen from thin air; there must have been a reason.

Charlotte’s expression became somewhat awkward, and unwilling to conceal anything, she simply recounted what Zhong Shenxiu had told her.

It was him!!

Elena froze instantly, astonished that it was that young boy again. The others were equally stunned, clearly having received quite a blow themselves! Hadn't they agreed to let that matter drop? After giving her sister, Emirida, several earnest instructions, she left the "Muchenxi Magic and Martial Arts Academy" and headed back.

Emirida flashed a triumphant smile and then proceeded towards the small courtyard.

Angelia, having just entered, was momentarily taken aback by the sight before her. She hadn't expected so many people to be there!

Charlotte offered her an awkward smile without saying anything. She was currently preoccupied with one concern: whether Zhong Shenxiu would hold a grudge against her for leading Elena and the others here. In truth, they didn't need her guidance; Elena and the others already knew the location!

“Angelia, I’m back!” Cherry greeted Angelia enthusiastically, as the two had spent some time together previously.

Angelia only managed a dazed nod as a greeting. She hadn't yet processed why these people were gathered there.

Yet, even greater surprises awaited her!

Just then, a knock suddenly echoed from the door!

“I’ll get it!” Charlotte forced a smile, eager for any distraction.

Angelia didn’t contest her, but she walked to the courtyard gate, casting a curious glance, wondering who could possibly be calling at this hour!

Charlotte opened the outer door, revealing Emirida’s inquisitive face. “Huh? Big Sister, why is it you?” Emirida let out a sudden exclamation upon seeing Charlotte.

Charlotte was equally startled to see Emirida, remembering her as Angelia’s sister. But she was puzzled: why would Angelia’s sister be here?

“Big Sister, I really didn’t expect to see you here. Are you living with my sister?” Emirida immediately posed a rather astonishing question.

Just as Charlotte was unsure how to respond, Angelia’s surprised voice rang out from inside the courtyard: “Emirida, what are you doing here?”

“Sis, I never realized you lived here!” Emirida, seemingly unconcerned by Angelia’s intense gaze, walked in as if entering her own home.

Fortunately, Charlotte pulled her back just in time, or Emirida would have stepped right into that Gravity Array!

Emirida flinched from Charlotte’s sudden movement, looking at her with bewildered eyes. “It’s dangerous ahead. Walk this way with me!” Without waiting for Emirida’s reply, Charlotte took her hand and led her along the corner of the wall inside.

Meanwhile, Angelia was glaring at her sister with eyes that could devour people. She had already guessed that her sister had followed her here.

Unfortunately, Angelia’s glare failed to intimidate Emirida. After sticking her tongue out at her sister, Emirida shifted her attention to Elena and the others. “Sis, who are these people?” Emirida asked curiously. But then, spotting Laurent standing there looking stunned, she suddenly exclaimed, “Sis, isn't that your sworn enemy?”

Laurent broke out in a cold sweat, wondering when exactly he had become Angelia’s sworn enemy?

“You—you’re the Senior Sister’s sister?” Liss asked Emirida in surprise. He had only just learned that Angelia had a sister.

Emirida turned her head towards Liss, responding with a question instead: “Is that strange?”

Faced with Emirida’s interrogation, Liss didn't know how to answer and grew somewhat awkward. Fortunately, Angelia stepped in to ease the tension.

Angelia approached, her face stern, and asked with a hint of anger in her voice, “Why aren't you in class at the Academy? What are you doing here?”

“Little sister missed you!” Emirida put on a picture of pitiable vulnerability. She knew her sister well—Angelia was the type with a sharp tongue but a soft heart. Though she rarely spoke and didn't socialize with her sister like other girls did, she deeply cherished her. In Emirida’s heart, her sister’s love was a silent, unspoken affection.

Angelia’s expression indeed softened somewhat, but her tone remained firm: “Go back now!”

This realization shocked Angelia immensely. Zhong Shenxiu and Robin's room was strictly forbidden territory; no one was allowed inside! In all the time she had stayed here, she had never known what was inside or what dangers it held. How could she let Emirida risk going in!

Suddenly, she unleashed her full battle aura and blocked Emirida!

At that moment, everyone’s gaze converged on them.

Laurent watched silently: He was astonished that Angelia’s battle aura had become even purer in just a few days, and her speed just now was much faster than before! He realized the gap between himself and Angelia had widened again!

Elena, being more observant, was pondering: What exactly was in that room that made this girl named Angelia react with such agitation?

Charlotte thought: That was a close call; if Emirida had actually entered, who knows what might have happened.
