Zhong Shenxiu had stayed away from the "Duber Magic and Martial Arts Academy" for two days. Aside from overseeing Robin’s alchemy training, he was deep in thought about a new problem: how to teach Robin magic from other disciplines.

Although Zhong Shenxiu had modified Dark Magic to allow Necromancers to learn magic from other schools, it wasn't as simple as direct study. Dark Magic and the magic of other disciplines both relied on spiritual power for activation, but the methods differed significantly. To put it plainly, it was hard to explain in a few words. Once a Necromancer mastered Dark Magic, the unique way they mobilized their spiritual energy had become ingrained habit—a mobilization pattern completely antithetical to how other schools of magic were cast.

If Zhong Shenxiu forced Robin to study other magic directly, she might succeed in learning, but achieving true mastery would be difficult. This was clearly unacceptable to Zhong Shenxiu; his creed was simple: if something can be done perfectly, one must never settle for mediocrity. Therefore, he needed to devise a solution to this conundrum.

In truth, Zhong Shenxiu had been contemplating this issue for some time, but only in the last few days had a viable solution begun to take shape. His inspiration, surprisingly, traced back to his "Skeleton Roosters." From them, he conceived the idea of completely reinventing the magic of other disciplines—recreating them so they aligned with Robin’s established mobilization habits. This, he realized, would effortlessly solve the problem.

Stripped down to its essence, the method involved a format conversion, and Zhong Shenxiu would serve as the conversion engine. During his dedicated study in the library, Zhong Shenxiu had mastered every discipline except Spatial and Lightning magic. The timing for implementation was finally ripe.

(This was precisely why he hadn't immediately taught Robin other magic; only after grasping them completely could he undertake their recreation! It must be noted: the spells recreated by Zhong Shenxiu would possess forms and powers radically different from their originals. And their sheer quality was beyond question—otherwise, they wouldn't have consumed so much of Zhong Shenxiu’s precious time!)

The reason Spatial and Lightning magic were excluded was stark: the "Duber Magic and Martial Arts Academy" library contained absolutely no relevant texts on those two schools. In fact, finding such materials was nearly impossible even within the entire "Guru City." To learn those two disciplines, one would likely have to travel to major metropolitan centers (a topic for another time, shelved for now).

After two days of magical recreation, the process was finally complete. During this intense period, Zhong Shenxiu benefited immensely, gaining an entirely new understanding of magic across all its schools.

Furthermore, Zhong Shenxiu made a profound discovery: there was an utterly absurd common belief in this world that a person’s innate magical attribute determined which magic they were confined to study. This notion was fundamentally flawed! A person's innate attribute only indicated which school of magic they perceived more keenly; it could not restrict their learning path. Magic activation was achieved through resonance. As long as one understood the method of resonance, any school of magic could be cast!

This method, clearly, remained undiscovered by the people of this world, yet our resident "genius" had already uncovered it! (This was the primary reason Zhong Shenxiu could master so many magical disciplines.)

As is widely known, Cultivators increase their power by absorbing the spiritual energy of heaven and earth. Every Cultivator possessed a sensitivity to nature hundreds, thousands, or even more times greater than ordinary people. Magical elements, at their core, were simply minuscule particles residing invisibly within nature; they could be easily detected with focused intent. Once detected, the remaining task was establishing resonance with them! (Because the process of "resonance" is immensely complex and multifaceted, it will not be detailed here.)

Returning to the main subject: with Robin’s current cultivation level, detecting these elemental particles was not an issue—it would only require minimal guidance. Zhong Shenxiu’s task was to impart the method of resonance to Robin. At that point, Robin, like Zhong Shenxiu, would be capable of instantly casting spells from any discipline! (Though the level of magic she could instantly cast would temporarily trail behind Zhong Shenxiu’s.)

"Robin, come here for a moment!"

Before initiating the formal instruction, Zhong Shenxiu intended to gauge the current level of Robin’s cultivation. On this note, an explanation is necessary: Cultivation stages, from lowest to highest, are sequentially divided into: Foundation Establishment, Aperture Opening, Fusion, Heart Flutter, Spirit Stillness, Golden Core, Nascent Soul, Soul Projection, Spirit Division, Body Integration, Tribulation Crossing, and Grand Ascension! (And each major stage is further subdivided into Early, Middle, and Late phases!) When one reaches the "Golden Core stage," they can ride a sword to fly. Upon reaching the "Nascent Soul stage," they could essentially be considered possessing a semi-immortal body!

After an internal scan, Zhong Shenxiu was astonished to find Robin’s cultivation had reached the "Middle Heart Flutter stage"—a speed that slightly exceeded his expectations. For Robin to reach the "Middle Heart Flutter stage" so quickly after only recently beginning her journey into cultivation would be considered the genius among geniuses in the true Cultivation world!

Of course, Robin’s rapid progress was due to two factors: first, she had consumed vast quantities of rare herbs and undergone cleansing and transformation through the "Spiritual Milk," which wrought revolutionary changes upon her physique. Second, she had the guidance of a monstrous "genius" like Zhong Shenxiu, which saved her from countless detours.

"Robin, do you still remember the Three Treasures of Cultivation?" Zhong Shenxiu always tested Robin at unexpected moments.

Robin nodded. Based on her understanding of Zhong Shenxiu, she knew her Master was about to teach her something new; testing her now was merely a way to review what she knew.

"What are the Three Treasures?" Zhong Shenxiu withdrew his hand.

"The Three Treasures are Essence, Qi, and Spirit," Robin stated clearly, her demeanor captivating. "Essence is the primordial Yang of the congenital single point; Qi is the ancestral breath of the unmanifested body; Spirit is inherent nature, bestowed by Heaven. These three supreme elixirs refine Essence into Qi, refine Qi into Spirit, and refine Spirit into the Dao—this is the essence of the Three Treasures!"

"And the Three Essentials?" Zhong Shenxiu’s voice remained level as water.

"The Three Essentials are: first, the Cauldron Furnace—though it has many synonyms, the Mysterious Gate Single Aperture is truly the Cauldron Furnace; second, the Medicine—it also has many synonyms, but the Congenital Single Breath is truly the Medicine; third, the Fire Timing—its names are numerous, but the subtle workings of the Primordial Spirit constitute the Fire Timing."

Zhong Shenxiu nodded in satisfaction and finally moved to the main topic. "Today, I have decided to teach you how to cast magic from other disciplines. You must first achieve the state of Primordial Unity!"

Robin smiled sweetly, displaying an expression that confirmed her suspicions ("Just as I thought"), and immediately complied.

Zhong Shenxiu first helped Robin gain a deeper (understanding/insight) into the magical elements, and then began instructing her on the casting methods.

After teaching for over three full hours, Zhong Shenxiu had covered everything he needed to explain. The rest was up to Robin to practice and master on her own. Robin truly lived up to her moniker, the "Little Monster"; by that same afternoon, she was already capable of instantly casting Tier Three magic!

Time slipped by quickly, and another five days had vanished. During this period, Robin’s alchemy skills had progressed to that of a competent apprentice. She could now refine most minor pills that weren't overly complicated or excessively demanding on spiritual energy. As for her magical cultivation, the improvements were astounding: she could instantly cast Tier Five spells from other disciplines, and not just one, but consecutively and mixed—a truly monstrous feat to contemplate!

That day, Rhys was sparring with Angelia when Zhong Shenxiu abruptly called a halt.

"Girl, come down!" Zhong Shenxiu offered a knowing, thought-provoking smile.

Angelia was puzzled, and Rhys looked even more bewildered.

"Kid, you spar with Robin!" Zhong Shenxiu’s voice sounded again. This instruction nearly sent Rhys tumbling to the ground!

Rhys stared blankly at Zhong Shenxiu, wearing an expression that clearly read, Just say you want me dead.

Zhong Shenxiu’s next words stunned them both as he said slowly, "Kid, don't look so scared. I just want Robin to spar with you using only magic!"

Sparring with magic only?

Not only was Rhys taken aback, but Angelia and Xia Luo were also utterly confused. Did Robin know magic?

(Because Zhong Shenxiu had taught Robin magic in secret, none of them were aware of the incredible heights Robin's magical attainments had reached.)

Rhys managed a foolish smile. If Robin was limited only to magic, there was nothing to fear. Everyone knew that in a small arena, swordsmen were the bane of mages! (But was that truly the case?)

"Kid, do you still have objections?" Although Zhong Shenxiu saw through Rhys's overly confident assessment, he offered no correction. (He was, after all, looking forward to the show.)

"Um... strictly magic?" Rhys sought final confirmation!

"Of course, you can be completely assured of that!" Zhong Shenxiu smiled again. (It looked increasingly like he was leading Rhys into a trap.)

Rhys said no more, nodding his agreement, even feeling a flicker of anticipation. Xia Luo, ever perceptive, sensed a deep implication in Zhong Shenxiu’s smile. Having spent several days with him, she had learned a little about him: whenever he smiled like that, someone was about to cry.

"Rhys, be careful. Don't be careless," Xia Luo whispered a warning.

"Yeah, I will be," Rhys replied, though his mind was already picturing how he would drive Robin back in defeat.

"Kid, are you ready?" The wicked smile on Zhong Shenxiu’s face grew more pronounced. Rhys, whose entire focus was glued to Robin, failed to notice, responding quite adorably, "I'm ready!"

However, Angelia and Xia Luo did notice. In that instant, the four words flashed simultaneously in both their minds: Rhys is finished.

"Then, begin!" As Zhong Shenxiu commanded, Rhys charged toward Robin with all his might, the grin of impending victory already blooming on his face.
