It was immediately obvious, even to a fool, just how astonishing the power of Mo Han’s magic truly was. And certainly, this was not lost on the Dragon Clan members who stood watching, far from foolish. Seeing the sudden, bizarre spectacle unfolding above Sky Dragon City, the young patriarch of the Dragon Clan’s face shifted dramatically, and he muttered in disbelief, "This is impossible. How could any human alive today possibly cast an Ancient Spell? We already know the full extent of Sky Dragon City’s power; no one here should possess this capability. This spell requires at least the cultivation of a Saint Magus to unleash, yet when did such a powerful Saint Magus appear in Sky Dragon City? Did he just spring out of nowhere?" Although the young Dragon Clan patriarch didn't know the exact spell Mo Han was casting, he could instinctively sense its staggering power from the magical fluctuations in the air and the initial manifestations of the enchantment. He knew that among the surviving human magic known today, no spell could possess such immense destructive power unless it was an Ancient Spell, long lost to time. Therefore, the young patriarch immediately understood: the magic the human opposite was casting must be an Ancient Spell, long vanished from memory.

At this moment, a Dragon Clan member beside the young patriarch quickly interjected, "Young Master, this spell seems immensely powerful. I fear our Blue Demon Barrier cannot withstand its might. What should we do?" Hearing his subordinate, the young patriarch urgently commanded, "Karoxi, quickly! Bring forth every Dragon Warrior I brought with me this time! We absolutely must stop this Super Spell from completing."

Having said this, the young patriarch swiftly turned and commanded the high-ranking human mages he had brought from the Proud Moon Empire and the Water Blue Empire to continue launching forbidden curses against Sky Dragon City.

Heeding their young master’s orders, the Dragon Clan member Karoxi immediately spun around, gathering several of his brethren, and they flew swiftly toward Sky Dragon City, instantly closing in on the magnificent walls. Meanwhile, Long Gufan, who had already been alerted by Mo Han, saw the figures of the Dragon Clan members approaching and swiftly ordered the crossbowmen, who were already prepared, to loose their heavy crossbows.

At the command.

Instantly, hundreds of heavy crossbow bolts let out piercing whistles as they shot toward the charging Dragon Clan members. The super heavy crossbows of the Sky Dragon Empire were specially designed, and due to the difficulty in their construction, they were not numerous, but they could serve a crucial purpose at critical junctures.

The shafts of these bolts featured a spiral design, greatly increasing their penetration power. Furthermore, each heavy crossbow shaft was engraved with a miniature Wind Acceleration Formation, enhancing the bolt's velocity and destructive force—it was specifically engineered to break through a Warrior’s protective Battle Aura. This made them a significant threat to warriors protected by such a shield. When these heavy crossbows were first designed, it was precisely to prevent hostile empire warriors from scaling the walls and seizing control, thereby threatening the safety of Sky Dragon City. Thus, deploying these heavy crossbows now was truly making the best possible use of them.

The Dragon Warriors led by Karoxi were startled when they saw the heavy crossbow bolts soaring from the city walls. These warriors could clearly distinguish these specialized heavy crossbows from ordinary ones; both in speed and destructive power, these bolts were far superior to common ones, clearly tailored to counter a Warrior’s protective Battle Aura. Although these bolts were unlikely to inflict fatal wounds on the highly skilled Dragon Clan warriors, no warrior was willing to test the crossbows' power against their protective Battle Aura. Being struck by these specialized bolts would certainly be agonizing, forcing them to slow down to bat away the incoming shafts. As a result, while the bolts failed to strike them, their rate of advance was necessarily curtailed.

Seeing this, the young Dragon Clan patriarch grew anxious. He could sense from the fluctuations in the air that the spell opposite was nearing completion, prompting him to shout in frustration, "What are you waiting for? The enemy's spell is almost finished! Have you forgotten how to transform?" Hearing their young master's command, the Dragon Warriors roared. Suddenly, several dark shadows shot into the sky, and after a strange flash of light, several colossal, pitch-black dragons materialized, instantly stunning every human present. These humans had only heard of True Dragons in legends; many had never seen one, relying only on descriptions. Seeing several actual dragons now left everyone momentarily frozen—it was an understandable reaction.

These newly transformed dragons then unleashed a single, world-shaking Dragon Roar simultaneously, an earth-shattering display of sound. The lesser warriors and soldiers, overwhelmed by the pressure of the dragons' roar, immediately lost their footing, their faces paling as they stumbled to the ground. The mages, whose resistance was inherently weaker, collapsed in droves. Only the high-ranking mages and the more powerful warriors remained standing. The ramparts of Sky Dragon City were littered with fallen figures, and even those still upright showed expressions of discomfort—the Dragon Roar had clearly affected them significantly.

Seeming pleased by the powerful effect of their combined Dragon Roar, the dragons coldly surveyed the scrambling humans below, their massive eyes holding a flicker of mockery, as if appreciating their own handiwork. Just then, one black dragon, noticeably larger than the others, turned its enormous head, surveyed the scene, and suddenly plummeted toward Sky Dragon City. Its target was Mo Han, who was still performing the ritual. It seemed the Dragon Clan members had located Mo Han's approximate position by tracing the magical currents in the air.

On the walls of Sky Dragon City, Long Gufan saw the dragons rushing toward them and realized their objective must be the still-casting Mo Han. His expression changed instantly. He hastily ordered several nearby warriors to protect Mo Han, then drew his own weapon, his body radiating potent Battle Aura, and flew fearlessly toward the oncoming black dragons.

Witnessing their Prince personally entering the fray, the personal guard tasked with protecting Long Gufan were greatly alarmed. The high-ranking warriors among the guard immediately activated their Battle Auras and followed Long Gufan into the sky to intercept the dragons.

Suddenly, numerous high-ranking warriors leaped into the air, converging on the black dragons. Usually, dozens or even a hundred elite warriors surrounded a single dragon in attack. Although the strength of these warriors was vastly inferior to that of the Dragon race, and warriors were frequently struck by the tails or claws of the demonic black dragons and fell, presumably to their deaths, their sheer numbers were crucial. At this moment of existential crisis for Sky Dragon City, the warriors attacked the dragons with utter disregard for their own lives, creating a human wall. For a time, this massed assault successfully obstructed the Dragon Clan members, preventing them from reaching Mo Han and interrupting his spell.

Thus, despite suffering heavy casualties, the human forces managed to hold back the Dragon Clan’s assault, granting Mo Han the necessary time to complete his magic. Shielded by the desperate defense of the human warriors, Mo Han finally finished his spell. Above the Dragon Clan's magic barrier, a sheet of fiery crimson light erupted. Then, a massive torrent of flame, carrying world-shattering might, hurtled toward the Dragon Clan’s position, landing precisely behind the Dragon Clan's magical shield. This impact was followed by a cataclysmic roar that made the entire vicinity around Sky Dragon City violently shake.

The reason Mo Han chose the landing spot behind the Dragon Clan's magical barrier was due to the overwhelming power of the Forbidden Curse, 'Twilight of the Apocalypse.' He was concerned that the immense force of the curse might inadvertently strike Sky Dragon City itself, prompting his tactical decision.

The Dragon Clan’s Blue Demon Barrier, taking the brunt of the attack, reacted violently to the fiery crimson light generated by 'Twilight of the Apocalypse.' The entire barrier rapidly buckled inward. When it reached the limit of its structural integrity, the barrier suddenly flashed with an unnatural light, and then, under the sheer force of the Forbidden Curse, it could hold no longer. The barrier instantly began to collapse under the immense pressure.
