Chong Shenxiu, bringing Angelia and Robin along, proceeded directly to the area. After surveying the surroundings of "Gongfengchuan," he took out some inferior immortal stones from his magic ring and arranged an illusionary formation in the eight cardinal directions: Qian, Kun, Zhen, Xun, Kan, Li, Gen, and Dui. This formation was named the "Eight Trigrams Illusion Formation!"

As soon as the array was activated, it felt as if a ripple had disturbed the surface of a clear lake, yet within moments, everything returned to normal.

From the outside, nothing appeared to have changed within the formation. But in reality, there was an entire universe contained within.

This Eight Trigrams Illusion Formation was constructed based on the principles of mutual generation and restraint: each direction represented one trigram, symbolizing a specific element. Qian represented Heaven, Kun represented Earth, Kan represented Water, Li represented Fire, Zhen represented Thunder, Gen represented Mountain, Xun represented Wind, and Kūn represented Marsh. In the eight trigrams, Qian restrains Kun, Zhen restrains Xun, Kan restrains Li, and Gen restrains Dui, a continuous cycle of generation and constraint.

Angelia blinked, staring blankly at Chong Shenxiu. Everything he did seemed shrouded in an inexhaustible mystery, prompting endless speculation.

After securing the safety measures, Chong Shenxiu modified the warning sign planted nearby, changing the text to read: Private Property, Entry Forbidden!

“Alright, let’s head back for now!” Chong Shenxiu said with a smile, clearly in good spirits.

However, as they departed, Chong Shenxiu glanced meaningfully toward the corner of the adjacent building.

Only after Chong Shenxiu and the others were long gone, out of sight, did a figure emerge from that corner. It was none other than Ha—the one who had nearly come to blows with Robin in the cafeteria that other time.

Why was he lurking here so sneakily?

To answer that question, only two words were needed: intense curiosity.

Harrison had originally planned to return to his dormitory after class, but from a distance, he spotted Angelia and her group.

He had already been quite preoccupied with Angelia and Robin, and now with the addition of the mysterious Chong Shenxiu, he desperately wanted to know what these people were up to.

He recalled hearing that Angelia had been absent for quite some time and couldn't understand why she would suddenly reappear here. To uncover the answer, he followed them stealthily from afar. What astonished him in the end was that this group had actually come to this stretch of wasteland. What puzzled him even more was the array-setting process Chong Shenxiu had just performed.

What exactly was he doing?

The doubts in Harrison’s mind were not resolved; instead, they multiplied in confusion!

He peered into the clearing, finding no clues; everything seemed perfectly normal. He then looked at the warning sign Chong Shenxiu had just put up, wondering why this area had suddenly become private property. Was it some kind of prank?

But he quickly dismissed that thought, knowing Angelia would never participate in something so pointless. So what was the reason?

Muttering to himself, he started walking toward the center of the wasteland!

People share this failing: the less they understand something, the more they desire to figure it out. Some express this desire intensely, while others are more subdued.

Harrison failed to realize how dangerous and foolish his actions were. Though he hesitated slightly upon reaching the perimeter fence, curiosity ultimately conquered his reservations, and he vaulted over without looking back.

From outside the array, the moment he leaped into it, his figure vanished. A ripple once again disturbed the space where he had been.

The very next morning, Chong Shenxiu and the others arrived early. It was the time for the academy’s morning classes, so they encountered many students along the way.

“Look, isn't that Angelia? I heard she was missing, how is she back?” someone asked in surprise.

“Didn’t you hear? Angelia actually returned yesterday, apparently with the Vice Principal!” another whispered.

“Really? Spill the details, what happened?”

Similar murmurs were everywhere. Chong Shenxiu glanced at Angelia with interest, as if silently commenting, I see you’re quite famous.

Angelia pretended not to notice, but a look of helplessness crossed her face.

As they talked, the group arrived at the designated spot.

Angelia noticed nothing unusual and maintained a calm expression, but Chong Shenxiu’s expression shifted, breaking into a knowing, meaningful smile. He had already spotted Harrison trapped within the array, looking haggard as he desperately searched for an exit, turning in circles despite trying numerous methods!

Harrison was nearly breaking down. He hadn't expected that a moment of curiosity would lead to this fate—being trapped as if perpetually circling the same spot, no matter how hard he tried. The feeling was maddening!

Harrison had tried to calm down and think things through, but the situation was too bizarre; he had no leads whatsoever.

Forget finding a reason; it was remarkable enough that he hadn't collapsed yet!

“Girl, how is your state today?” Chong Shenxiu suddenly asked an odd question.

Angelia was confused and stared blankly at Chong Shenxiu, but when she caught the hint of a wicked smile, she knew she was in for trouble again today!

“Alright, let’s go in!” Chong Shenxiu said, walking toward the center of the area, not forgetting to remind Angelia:

“Heads up, follow my steps precisely, and don't stray, or whatever happens, I won’t be responsible.”

Angelia started, realizing Chong Shenxiu’s words were not empty threats. She immediately tensed up, focusing intently on every step he took.

Robin wasn't as nervous as Angelia. She seemed quite composed because Chong Shenxiu had already explained the mysteries of this formation to her the night before. Although she couldn't set up such an array herself, navigating in and out freely was manageable!

The moment they entered the array, Angelia spotted Harrison not far off, though Harrison failed to see her.

Why is he here? Angelia instinctively started, and her movement ceased.

But it was that momentary pause that caused her to miss the alignment of Chong Shenxiu’s footsteps. By the time she reacted, Chong Shenxiu was already several meters ahead.

Angelia was momentarily stunned, unsure whether to advance or retreat, and uncertain which leg to move next.

She glanced again at Harrison. Seeing him still wandering aimlessly and seemingly unharmed, she bravely took a small, tentative step forward.

Angelia could swear on her (currently non-existent) husband and children that it was truly just a small step. Yet, with that single small step, her vision blurred, and the surrounding scenery warped, as if she had been plunged into a vast, endless marsh where her sight could travel far but see nothing concrete!

“Where is this?” Angelia, experiencing the array’s true power for the first time, froze in place.

Hearing a sound, Harrison whipped his head around and caught sight of Angelia’s look of stark horror.

“It’s you?” Harrison’s eyes widened, clearly startled by Angelia’s sudden appearance.

Angelia shuddered, snapping back to attention. She looked toward Harrison but remained silent.

“Where is this place, and why can't I get out?” Harrison finally saw a living person and couldn't help but ask.

Angelia remained silent, but her expression clearly conveyed: You ask me? Who should I ask?

“How did you get here?” Harrison pressed again.

This time, Angelia finally spoke, but instead of answering, she countered: “Why are you here?”

Harrison offered no reply either, and the two simply stared at each other in silence.

After all, Angelia was a woman. She was the first to break the gaze, though she still said nothing, instead beginning to ponder the situation.

It was clearly Chong Shenxiu’s doing, but how had he managed it? And how could she get out of here?

Angelia knew she couldn't move randomly, as that one small step had landed her in this predicament. Who knew what awaited her next!

Wait! Suddenly, Angelia seemed to grasp something, a flicker of excitement crossing her face.

She had only stepped forward slightly with her left foot. Did that mean if she simply retraced her steps back to the original position, she could leave this place?

She decided to test it immediately. Angelia began cautiously drawing her left foot back, recalling the previous position while keenly observing the surrounding changes.

It should be right here! Angelia’s foot hovered in the air for a long time, yet she hesitated to set it down firmly.

Harrison watched Angelia strangely. He had no idea what she was attempting. Was she practicing the "Golden Rooster Stands on One Leg"?

After much deliberation, Angelia finally decided to take the plunge.

Her left foot settled gently onto the ground, and Angelia squeezed her eyes shut in nervous anticipation.

“Hey, do you know how to get out?” Harrison couldn't resist asking again.

Angelia snapped her eyes open. To her utter discouragement, apart from a slight change in Harrison’s expression, nothing around her had altered.

It’s over; I can’t get out now! Angelia thought in despair.

At that moment, she thought of Gan De Fu, remembering how he looked when he exited the array. Thinking about it only brought a sudden chill down her spine!

But just then, Angelia saw a glimmer of hope, as a little angel appeared before her eyes. Damn, I thought it was someone else—it’s Robin!

Robin first shot Harrison a cold look. Frankly, she held no positive feelings for this man.

“Ro—Robin!” Angelia’s voice trembled slightly; one could imagine the indescribable excitement of someone in despair suddenly seeing hope!

“The Master asked me to bring you over!” Robin looked up at Angelia, her tone very level.

Angelia nodded rapidly, afraid that a delayed response might cause Robin to vanish from her sight again.

“Also, the Master asked me to give you a message,” Robin added.

“What message?” Angelia asked reflexively.

“The Master said, you are very capable, so capable that even a pig would want to bang its head against a wall!”

Was that a compliment or an insult? Angelia was momentarily speechless!
