The four men—Yang Yi, Lin the Fat One, Xu Ming, and Ye Xiao Hou—walking together seemed an oddly fitting group. Their combination was so unremarkable that their head-turning rate might as well have been 0.00%. Thus, after stepping out of campus life, they had naturally arrived at a nearby restaurant where they ordered several dishes before digging in.

"Umm... umm! This food is delicious!" Lin the Fat One mumbled through mouthfuls between bites.

"Come on, Second Brother," Xu Ming chided with a smirk. "You need to lose some weight. Don't eat so much!"

"I won't get fat anymore. My figure's already set in stone. You don't have to worry about me!" Lin retorted proudly.

Yang Yi shot them both an exasperated glance. "Could you two stop talking during dinner? For heaven's sake, the entire table's covered in your drool—it's disgusting!"

"Eh..." The pair exchanged sheepish smiles before returning to their meals with red-faced determination.

After taking a sip of water, Ye Xiao Hou suddenly asked: "Boss, where should we go after this meal?"

"Exactly," Xu Ming added eagerly. "Today marks the day we became brothers and roommates in the same dormitory. We have to do something special!"

"I agree," Lin the Fat One chimed in. "We've been so busy since leaving campus without any proper relaxation time. Today's our chance!"

Yang Yi hesitated at their suggestions, his mind drifting back to the trials of village life and the haunted cave rituals that had left no room for leisure. Just as he opened his mouth to respond...

"Let's have some fun tonight," Yang Yi suddenly declared with a grin. "I'll treat."

The group immediately perked up. Xu Ming asked: "So Boss, where should we go?"

Yang Yi pondered for a moment before asking: "Any suggestions?"

While Xu Ming fell into thoughtful silence and Lin the Fat One remained noncommittal about the unfamiliar city, Ye Xiao Hou suddenly brightened. "I know! Let's visit the Space Bar nearby—it has this popular TV karaoke room!"

"Right!" Xu Ming nodded enthusiastically. "I've heard that place is amazing."

Yang Yi smirked at the mention of television. "Good idea. Let's go."

As they exited the restaurant toward the bar, two shadows lurked in a distant corner—one with a shaggy face, another with an openly sinister expression. Their eyes fixed on the group.

"Deep," the shaggy-faced boy whispered to his companion, "the brat is about to leave. Are we moving?"

The one called Deep raised his hand and narrowed his eyes. "Not yet. Go tell Dong that I'll handle surveillance. Those boys are heading for Tiger's territory."

"I understand," replied the youth named Mao Tou. He turned to depart.

"Hehe," murmured Deep with a wicked grin, "didn't expect you'd lead yourself into the tiger's den. That area is our kingdom. You'll see who's boss soon enough." With that, he vanished after their target.

By this time, Yang Yi and his companions had reached the imposing entrance of Space Bar—a grand establishment illuminated by flashing red-and-green lights. A beautiful hostess stood just meters away from two towering bouncers guarding the door.

"Let's go in," Yang Yi said with a smirk, glancing back toward unseen pursuers.

"Brother Yang," Lin the Fat One murmured under his breath.

"I know," Yang Yi replied. "But let them play their game for now."

Confused by the hesitation of their companions, Xu Ming and Ye Xiao Hou turned to ask: "Brothers, what's wrong?"

"Oh nothing," Yang Yi waved it off. "Let's just go in."

Guided by the hostess through an opulent space bar—flourishing with its prime location near schools, businesses, and commercial streets—they reached a private karaoke room. The establishment was no ordinary venue; Tiger, head of the Wolfpack Gang's powerful faction, held dominion here.

As they passed through the main hall, Yang Yi observed dancers twisting suggestively on stage while some patrons openly consumed pills under dim lighting. The contrast between decadence and danger was striking.

After ordering a round of beers, the four began their first night out celebration.

"To our brotherhood!" Xu Ming raised his glass solemnly, despite his occasional shameless behavior being oddly well-executed at times.

"Indeed," Yang Yi added earnestly. "While we may not know each other completely yet, I believe none of us has an insurmountable generation gap."

"You're right, Boss," Ye Xiao Hou agreed wholeheartedly.

Lin the Fat One slammed his glass down with a roar: "To our fates uniting here!"

Though it was their first night drinking alcohol, the beers might as well have been water to them—consumed in one gulp without even reddening their faces. Unbeknownst to them, ominous shadows were already gathering like storm clouds beyond their revelry.
