"S-sorry... so sorry!" Angelia scrambled to her feet, apologizing profusely. Her heart felt like it had nearly stopped; she hadn't expected to spray Robin right in the face. Good heavens! Was her luck really this terrible?

Robin seemed somewhat irritated, too. To have such a disaster strike while she was trying to enjoy her meal—wasn't that just ruining the mood for eating?

Despite the annoyance, Robin didn't actually flare up. Remembering the importance of her current mission, she merely stated flatly, "No unauthorized private business!"

Then, Robin calmly resumed eating.

While Robin herself remained relatively composed, her single sentence left the other two women utterly flummoxed. Angelia and Betty stared at her, frozen, looking as if they couldn't believe those words had come out of her mouth.

The brief silence was shattered by Betty’s exaggerated burst of laughter.

"Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!"

"That killed me, hahahahaha!" Betty collapsed onto the **floor, clutching her stomach, tears apparently squeezed from her eyes.

Angelia finally snapped back to reality, grasping the subtle implication behind Robin’s statement. However, she was forced to suffer in silence—only she knew the true bitterness of the situation!

"Betty, if you laugh one more time, I'm throwing you out the window." Angelia couldn't challenge Robin directly, but she certainly didn't care about Betty, the instigator of the whole affair.

"I... I... I'm stopping... hahahahahahahaha!" Betty looked as if another laugh might trigger a seizure.

It wasn't hard to understand why. They had lived together for nearly three years, and this was the first time Betty had seen Angelia so frustrated and suppressed. That expression was simply too classic; it was hard not to find it amusing!!

Angelia was deeply vexed, truly, indescribably annoyed!

If this were any other time, she would have certainly gone over and given Betty a thorough scolding. But with Robin present, things were complicated; she had to be mindful of appearances!

Angelia absolutely did not want to leave a bad impression on Robin!

"I’m finished eating," came Robin’s cool voice from behind them.

Angelia turned and gasped again when she saw Robin. To her astonishment, Robin was actually cleaning up the battlefield that had erupted on the table!

"Let me do that!" Angelia declared, snatching the remnants from Robin’s hand with a speed described as "swift as lightning and quick as a shadow in the blink of an eye!"

"Angelia, I suddenly realize you’ve become quite diligent today! Oh dear, I have a sudden bad feeling—is it going to rain? Oh no, I was planning to do laundry!" Betty chirped from the sidelines, delivering pointed sarcasm! Her words carried heavy undertones!

Angelia’s desire to throttle Betty had never been so intense!

Since Robin was facing away, she missed Angelia’s murderous glare. Seeing that she was no longer needed for cleanup, Robin walked over to Betty’s writing desk and pulled out the magic textbook to read again.

This time, it was Betty’s turn to be speechless. Her inner thought was: Just who is this little girl? How can she be so presumptuous?

"Angelia, don't tell me this little girl is your sister, right?" Betty asked Angelia, who was disposing of the trash.

Betty recalled that Angelia had once mentioned having a younger sister who was currently attending the primary division at the 'Muxuxi Magic and Martial Arts Academy.' Though she'd heard about her, Betty had never actually met her.

The reason Betty suspected Robin was Angelia’s sister was simple: Robin’s detached temperament was an exact match for Angelia’s own! Furthermore, if this child wasn't Angelia's sister, Betty genuinely couldn't imagine what their relationship could be.

Hearing Betty’s question, Angelia nervously glanced toward Robin, then let out a silent sigh of relief when she saw Robin deeply absorbed in her book. She quickly whispered to Betty, "No, don't talk nonsense!"

"Not?" Betty thought she had guessed correctly, only to be instantly denied. Her curiosity flared even more intensely: "Then what is your relationship? Don't tell me you picked her up acting like Lei Feng!"

(Reader question: Esteemed Author, where is Lei Feng? Author’s reply: According to historical records and archaeological research, his existence still requires further investigation! –_–)

Angelia shot Robin another glance, let out another quiet sigh of relief, and warned in a low, pointed voice, "Stop talking nonsense. Don't you have class soon? Why aren't you getting ready?"

"Oh, I decided to skip class today!" Betty stated with casual ease, which sounded anything but casual to Angelia's ears.

"Skipping class isn't good; they deduct credits. You should hurry to class!" Angelia desperately wanted to send Betty away before the girl could utter anything else regrettable.

"You’ve rarely had a guest staying over in our dorm, so I suppose I should fulfill my duties as a host!" Betty put on a determined, shameless look, having resolved to skip class for the day!

Angelia felt a surge of frustration. How did I end up with such a thick-skinned roommate? She’s completely wasting my time!

"Hey, Angelia, tell me quietly, is she perhaps the illegitimate daughter of some noble? That’s why you’re being so respectful to her?" Betty tried to pry information out of Angelia.

However, Angelia had learned from past experience and completely ignored her.

Betty rolled her eyes. Angelia’s 'no comment' policy had fully ignited her curiosity and her need to dig to the root of the matter!

Seeing that she couldn't break through Angelia’s defense line for the moment, Betty shifted her target to Robin, who was still reading.

"Your name is Robin, right? Hello, I'm Betty!" Betty walked over and spoke in what she considered the gentlest tone possible.

But the only response she received was dead silence~~~~

Robin completely ignored her!

Speechless, Betty remembered that this little girl was quite aloof.

Right, if I don't use some extraordinary measures, it won't work, Betty thought to herself.

Being full of clever ideas, she gave a quick mental spin, and an idea immediately struck her!

"The book you’re reading is outdated. This one is the current trend!" Betty said, simultaneously pulling a book from her drawer.

Robin’s attention was indeed caught by her words. She looked at the book in Betty's hand, seeing the title emblazoned on the cover: How Magic is Forged!

"Let me tell you, this book has incredibly clear viewpoints, rigorous arguments, and ideas so novel they are absolutely unparalleled!" Betty boasted while closely watching Robin's expression.

Noticing that Robin seemed intrigued, Betty quickly pushed forward, extending the book toward Robin's face, and purred, "Take a look at this book; it might help you! I assume you are a Mage?"

Robin took the book Betty offered, and then spoke a single sentence that instantly turned Betty into a vegetable.

"I am not a Mage. I am a Necromancer!"
