After Zhong Shenxiu fell silent, a good while passed before Robin and Angelia both stopped talking, standing stock-still as if each were lost in thought.

Time slipped by again before Robin finally broke the quiet, addressing Angelia, whose face still held a look of utter disbelief. "My Master told me to follow you." Her voice was flat, as if the matter were of no concern to her whatsoever.

"Oh~ I heard!" Angelia replied distractedly.

Her mind was still a complete mess, turning over and over the words Zhong Shenxiu had just spoken to her. They seemed to echo in her ears; she truly couldn't fathom why he would propose such a deal with her. What was his true objective?

"Is that all for today, or do you wish to continue?" Robin asked, observing Angelia’s distraction.

Angelia started, thought for a moment, then said, "Let's just call it a day for now!"

How could she possibly have the mood to spar with Robin now? Her mind was a chaotic tangle, and she urgently needed a quiet place to sort things out. Since Robin was going to be with her anyway, a little while wouldn't matter.

"Then let's go!" Robin stated plainly.

"Where to?" Angelia hadn't quite caught up.

Robin didn't answer, but instead looked at Angelia with an expression that clearly conveyed, Where do you think?

Angelia paused, but quickly understood. Since Robin would be staying with her now, naturally they were going to her place, as she had already agreed with Zhong Shenxiu that she would take care of Robin’s daily needs during this period.

"Follow me," Angelia said softly, offering a slightly apologetic smile.

Considering that Robin would soon be eating and sleeping under the same roof as her, Angelia felt a blend of incredulity and a strange, thrilling nervousness!

Angelia’s academy, the "Buzadi Magic and Martial Arts Academy," should have taken about twenty minutes to reach at their normal walking pace. However, due to Angelia’s preoccupied state, it took them over half an hour to arrive at the academy gates.

The "Buzadi Magic and Martial Arts Academy" was quite renowned in "Gulu City," consistently ranking among the top contenders in the annual "Academy Ranking Tournament"; its faculty strength was beyond reproach!

Robin showed little curiosity about the unfamiliar surroundings of the "Buzadi Magic and Martial Arts Academy." After just a few glances at the scenery, she looked away, quietly following in Angelia's wake.

Just as Zhong Shenxiu had observed, Robin possessed a detached heart, which would be detrimental to her future path of cultivation. She needed to understand that "hiding modestly in a well, hiding greatly in the city" did not equate to complete withdrawal from the world!

True "cultivation" demanded gaining insight from life and achieving self-sublimation! As the saying went, how can one attain transcendence without first engaging with the mundane?

The path of cultivation couldn't be achieved solely by practicing spells; a heart devoid of realization would never brush against the edges of the Great Dao!

Though Zhong Shenxiu could teach Robin various incantations and refine all manner of elixirs for her, this crucial awakening to life was something he could not impart!

After several twists and turns, they finally reached the front of Angelia's dormitory building. It was a lovely little villa, painted in alternating shades of pink and pale blue, with colorful flowers adorning the entrance.

Looking up, a small sign was affixed above the door, bearing the characters: "Girls' Dormitory Building 17." Beneath this small sign was an even more conspicuous notice reading: "No Boys Allowed"!

"We're here," Angelia nodded gently to Robin behind her.

Robin said little, following Angelia into the dormitory.

Angelia's room was on the third floor, the one facing the sun! Upon pushing the door open, they found the interior warmly decorated, with cute trinkets hanging on the walls, and two beds, two desks, and two wardrobes—all in charming, feminine versions.

Angelia’s room was shared by two people; meaning, besides her, there was one roommate.

However, the roommate was currently out.

"Have a seat," Angelia said courteously.

Robin certainly wasn't polite in return. With a slight hitch of her bottom, she sat down on one of the beds—and it turned out to be the roommate’s bed, not Angelia’s.

Angelia didn't seem to mind and found a chair to sit on. In contrast to Robin’s calm demeanor, Angelia felt rather ill at ease!

"My name is Angelia. As you can see, I have a roommate here; her name is Betty, and she hasn't returned yet." Angelia, not knowing what else to say, made small talk.

"I am Robin Tranchi. You can just call me Robin from now on," Robin introduced herself as well.

"Alright, Robin," Angelia smiled faintly, surprised that Robin would offer an introduction. "I look forward to your guidance in the future."

"That’s what I should be saying," Robin repeated flatly.

Except when speaking with Zhong Shenxiu, Robin seemed to habitually conceal her inner thoughts with everyone else.

Angelia managed an awkward smile, but then quickly added, "Robin, are you hungry?"

Without waiting for Robin's reply, Angelia suddenly stood up. "How about this, Robin, you wait here for a moment; I’ll go to the cafeteria to get food and be right back."

Angelia kept calling her "Robin," seemingly having become addicted to it. Wasn't she just tense around Robin earlier? It made one muse: women truly are inscrutable!

Robin watched the overly enthusiastic woman, said nothing, and let her go.

Once Angelia left, only Robin remained in the room. With nothing pressing to do, Robin walked over to a desk and casually picked up a book lying there.

Unluckily for her, the desk Robin chose was not Angelia’s, but Betty's.

The book Robin picked up turned out to be an introduction to magic. Could that Betty be a mage?

Flipping through a few pages, for Robin, who could grasp the profound knowledge of Zhong Shenxiu, the theory in this magic book wasn't difficult to understand.

Robin focused her attention on the section explaining how to cast a minor fireball. She recalled Zhong Shenxiu mentioning that improved Necromancers could also learn magic from other elements. Now, Robin was considering one question: could she cast this so-called minor fireball right now?

Although Robin was eager to try, she hesitated slightly. She wasn't sure if such a rash attempt would anger Zhong Shenxiu.

Just as Robin was lost in thought, the door swung open.

Had Angelia returned with food?

Robin turned, but what met her eyes was not Angelia, but a strange young girl.

The girl also saw Robin and paused in surprise.

They stared at each other for a full fifteen seconds, until finally, a shriek erupted from the girl’s mouth.

"Aaaah~~~ There’s a thief!"
