Zhong Shenxiu gave a faint smile; it was exactly as he had thought. He truly could communicate with others using his "Spiritual Wave."

"Robin, can you hear me clearly now?" Zhong Shenxiu inquired.

"Master, where are you? Are you awake?" Robin kept searching all around, yet couldn't find even a shadow of him.

"Stop looking. I am communicating with you via the Spiritual Wave; I haven't actually arrived," Zhong Shenxiu said quickly, seeing Robin’s stubborn refusal to believe him.

Robin, true to her obedience, immediately ceased searching, though her face was alight with excitement and joy. Although Zhong Shenxiu had only been in meditation for a day or two, it felt like an age to Robin. To hear his voice again, how could she not be moved?

Angelia looked at Robin with bewilderment. She couldn't understand why Robin was suddenly talking to herself when there wasn't a soul around!

"Robin, I have a task to assign you in a moment," Zhong Shenxiu said softly to Robin.

Hearing she was being given a task, Robin's bright eyes immediately lit up, showing keen anticipation.

"Don't rush; let me speak with her first!" Zhong Shenxiu instructed.

Robin knew the 'her' Zhong Shenxiu referred to was Angelia. Though she didn't know what Zhong Shenxiu intended to say to the girl, she obediently waited aside, though her eyes fixed curiously on Angelia.

Angelia felt strangely uncomfortable under Robin's sudden gaze. Just as she was about to ask Robin what she was looking at, a boyishly tender voice suddenly materialized eerily in her ear.

"Hey, girl, can you hear me?" Zhong Shenxiu asked plainly.

"Who?" Angelia startled instinctively. She hadn't expected there to truly be someone nearby and immediately became wary of her surroundings.

Zhong Shenxiu chuckled slightly, surprised by Angelia’s strong reaction; he almost forgot what he had intended to tell her.

"Don't be so tense!" Zhong Shenxiu teased.

Yet, the more he told Angelia not to be tense, the more fretful and jumpy she became! (After all, hearing a voice without seeing the speaker was quite unnerving!)

"Stop hiding! I see you, come out now!" Angelia suddenly shouted loudly.

Zhong Shenxiu was left almost speechless. She claimed to see him? If she could actually see him, she’d be a god!

Zhong Shenxiu didn't want to waste time on pleasantries; he wasn't one to dawdle, so he got straight to the point: "I want to discuss a business proposition with you, how about it?"

"Who are you? Come out and say it if you want to talk business," Angelia continued searching around for the source of the voice.

Robin, standing beside her, perhaps unable to tolerate Angelia speaking to Zhong Shenxiu in such a tone, quickly interjected: "I hope you will mind your tone when you speak. That is my Master!"

Robin’s expression turned noticeably cold, the implication perfectly clear: Listen up, little girl, or you’ll face consequences!

Your Master? Angelia looked blankly at Robin, only then realizing with a start that the only person who referred to her as 'girl' was indeed Zhong Shenxiu.

Thinking of this, Angelia felt a profound shock; she realized she was increasingly unable to gauge what kind of person Zhong Shenxiu truly was.

"What business do you wish to discuss with me?" Angelia’s tone softened considerably. Was this perhaps the effect of Robin's warning?

"I want to entrust Robin to your care for a few days," Zhong Shenxiu stated his purpose directly, disliking beating around the bush.

"Robin?" Angelia was stunned, not grasping Zhong Shenxiu's meaning. She still didn't know Robin's name, so her astonishment was understandable.

"Robin is the one standing next to you, the one who spent half an hour explaining what 'Qi' is," Zhong Shenxiu said, sounding slightly amused.

Her name is Robin?

Angelia glanced at Robin beside her, who was watching her with innocent curiosity.

"What conditions?"

"You must teach Robin how to get along with people, how to understand social norms..." Zhong Shenxiu listed off a continuous string of requirements.

"I accept!" Angelia responded immediately, as if afraid Zhong Shenxiu might change his mind.

"From this moment on, Robin's food, clothing, accommodation, and transportation will be entirely your responsibility!" Zhong Shenxiu added.

"That's no problem!" Angelia nearly jumped up with delight. With Robin by her side, her own strength would surely advance!

"Then it is settled. Furthermore, I must tell you, I strongly dislike those who break their agreements. I hope you understand!"
