Aaron stared, utterly bewildered, at Zhong Shenxiu and Robin. He could not have imagined running into these two children here! They had made such a profound impression on him that he recognized them instantly.

Laurent, noticing Aaron’s strange reaction, quickly leaned in close and murmured, “Hey, Aaron, what’s wrong?”

Aaron was in a state of utter mental paralysis; he had no time to heed Laurent’s words. He was currently enduring the shockwave of a magnitude 7.8 earthquake. In that moment, the sheer imposing aura Robin had displayed that other day flashed vividly back into his mind.

Old Danny was equally puzzled. Why had the atmosphere in the room changed so drastically the moment the two children walked in? It felt as if the tension had suddenly spiked!

Old Danny couldn't comprehend why Albert and the others wore such strange, surprised expressions. Did they know the newcomers?

At this point, Zhong Shenxiu swept his gaze across the room and stated flatly, “Who is in charge here?”

Old Danny, who was still observing, paused momentarily upon hearing the question before snapping back to attention.

“My young friends, are you truly here to purchase property?” Old Danny tried to maintain his composure, though a smile played on his lips.

“Block C, Apartment 107 on 19th Street. I want to buy that apartment. I have limited time, so let’s skip the pleasantries. Name your price,” Zhong Shenxiu declared.

Old Danny stared at Zhong Shenxiu, astonished. This kid has some serious personality, he thought, unable to help but examine him closely, from head to toe.

Tender skin, appearing no older than five or six, dressed in commoner’s attire, yet around his neck hung nearly ten magic rings!

“I said my time is limited!” Zhong Shenxiu reminded him coldly. He detested the feeling of being scrutinized.

Old Danny chuckled awkwardly, then replied, “The apartment you mentioned is rather remote. If you truly wish to buy it, it will be 105 Diamond Coins.”

Zhong Shenxiu exchanged a look with Robin. Robin understood immediately, swiftly reaching into one of his magic rings, producing 105 Diamond Coins, and handing them over to Old Danny.

Old Danny accepted the money almost mechanically, slightly stunned. He hadn't expected these two children to be so generous, not even bothering to haggle—truly refreshingly straightforward!

Seeing that Old Danny had taken the money but was still frozen in place, a hint of displeasure crossed Zhong Shenxiu’s face.

“Hey, old man! Have you forgotten something?” Zhong Shenxiu demanded coldly.

Screeeech~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Old Danny was truly speechless this time!

It was the first time anyone had addressed him that way, and certainly the first time someone had called him ‘old man’ so carelessly.

Am I really that old? Old Danny wondered, feeling thoroughly aggrieved.

Laurent’s eyes widened as he watched Zhong Shenxiu. It was the first time he’d seen his father so thoroughly flustered. Who is this kid, anyway? How can he be so arrogant?!

Chastised by Zhong Shenxiu, Old Danny finally came to his senses. He had accepted the payment but had yet to execute the formal transfer procedures!

Thus, Old Danny quickly instructed Laurent, “Laurent, go fetch the deed!”

Laurent dared not speak much, obediently moving to retrieve the property deed.

With one person gone from the room, the atmosphere grew even more taut! Especially for Aaron, who, seeing Laurent walk away, suddenly felt adrift without his anchor and quickly edged closer to Albert and Anthony.

Albert and Anthony’s eyes had been secretly fixed on Robin—the person who had previously filled them with such overwhelming dread.

When their gazes settled on Robin’s waist, both were captivated by the snow-white bone sword hanging there.

What in the world is that thing? they both wondered, completely baffled as to the bone sword’s purpose.

With all my years of experience, I don't know what this item is! Who exactly are these children? Why are they perpetually shrouded in such impenetrable mystery? Anthony thought, shocked.

Just as the two were scrutinizing the bone sword, Robin seemed to sense it and abruptly turned his gaze toward them.

Except for the look of gentle obedience reserved for Zhong Shenxiu, Robin regarded everyone else with an air of detached indifference and coldness!

A single glance was enough to make Albert and Anthony’s hearts hammer wildly in their chests!

Fortunately, that feeling didn't last long, as Laurent returned.

Before Laurent could hand the deed to Old Danny, Zhong Shenxiu stepped in and blocked his path.

Zhong Shenxiu extended a delicate hand, staring directly into Laurent’s eyes, his tone chilling, “Hand it over!”

Zhong Shenxiu gazed directly at Laurent, and Laurent stared just as directly back. Neither yielded, their eyes locked in confrontation.

Laurent simply could not understand why this child was acting so high and mighty. Was this the legendary ‘newborn calf unafraid of the tiger’?

Laurent was, to some extent, a known figure. Bowing his head to a mere child was obviously out of the question, especially now, in the throes of his assertive adolescence—how could he possibly heed the words of someone as small as Zhong Shenxiu!

Ignoring Zhong Shenxiu, Laurent attempted to step around him, only to be stopped coldly again by Robin.

At this moment, Aaron and his two companions felt their hearts were about to leap into their throats; they watched with bated breath, daring not even to breathe.

A faint scent of gunpowder began to permeate the air!

“Laurent, give the deed to them,” Old Danny commanded at last. If he hadn't spoken, Robin might very well have acted.

Though deeply reluctant, Laurent still passed the deed to Robin. But Robin didn't back down; he continued to stare coldly at Laurent.

“Robin, let’s go!” Zhong Shenxiu announced, turning toward the exit.

Only then did Robin stop speaking, turning to follow as they departed.

Once they confirmed Zhong Shenxiu and Robin were truly gone, Aaron and the other two finally dared to exhale deeply. They were inwardly amazed: That was too close; I really thought there was going to be bloodshed again!

Albert and Anthony were intensely perplexed. Despite having survived countless battles themselves, why did they feel so utterly lacking in confidence simply being around these two children? What was the reason?

Unbeknownst to them, the chilling aura Robin had emitted that other day had subtly altered their very disposition, burying a seed of something called ‘fear’ deep within their souls. This fear was triggered under specific conditions.

“Senior, I was truly sweating bullets for you just now!” Aaron said, showing lingering apprehension.

“What? What do you mean?” Laurent asked, finding Aaron’s expression very strange. “I’ve been genuinely curious—since those two children walked in, your whole demeanor shifted. Do you actually know them?”

“No,” Aaron answered quickly, though he immediately added, “Though I don’t know them, I have met them once! Senior, do you realize how dangerous your actions just now were?”

“Dangerous? What danger?” Laurent became even more bewildered.
