"Why not just issue a decree searching for the Crown directly, instead of focusing on finding the ruins?" Mo Han asked, a hint of puzzlement in his voice. "Even if those people find the ruins, it doesn't guarantee they'll find the Crown." Guang Huo shook his head at the question. "The truth is, whether the Crown is recovered at this point is no longer the most crucial factor. The utmost priority is locating the Azure Ancient Ruins."

Seeing the confused look on Mo Han's face, Guang Huo continued his explanation. "According to ancient texts, within those Azure Ancient Ruins lies the legendary Divine Sword of Transmission, supposedly forged personally by the Creator God. Its power is said to be unparalleled. If we possess it, our chances in the holy war against the Underworld Race two years from now will dramatically increase."

Mo Han interjected, "How does the power of the Divine Sword of Transmission compare to the Holy Sword of Light?" Guang Huo looked at him curiously. "How do you know about the Holy Sword of Light? It disappeared five hundred years ago, its whereabouts unknown. Very few people have even heard its name now. Where did you hear about it?" Mo Han smiled faintly. "I also encountered mention of it in some old scrolls."

Guang Huo nodded slowly. "I see. The Holy Sword of Light was supposedly forged by the God of Light himself, so while it ranks as an ultimate divine artifact, its power is a full tier below that of the Divine Sword of Transmission. Furthermore, it's said that no one can unleash its full potential; even the Pope can only access two tenths of its power, rendering it largely ineffective. That’s why it was kept securely within the Church, until it mysteriously vanished at some point."

"The Church searched extensively for it afterward, but found not a single trace."

Mo Han thought to himself, Of course they found nothing. The Pope secretly gave that Holy Sword of Light to my master for research. Only they would truly know where it is; if they don't speak, who would?

With that thought, Mo Han asked, "Is the power of the Divine Sword of Transmission truly that terrifying? Aren't you worried that even if you find it, it might be unusable, just like the Holy Sword of Light?" Guang Huo nodded and chuckled. "That won't happen. The ancient texts of the Church are perfectly clear on this: the Divine Sword of Transmission has no arbitrary restrictions like the Holy Sword of Light. It only recognizes its true master. Once we find the owner acknowledged by the sword, its full power can be utilized."

Mo Han questioned with interest, "Recognizes a master? What does that mean?" Guang Huo shook his head. "I don't know the specifics myself, but I've heard that divine swords possess sentience. As long as they grant permission, someone can become their master. With so many humans on the continent, I refuse to believe we won't find one soul capable of being recognized by the Divine Sword of Transmission. Once that happens, we’re set."

Mo Han frowned slightly. "Aren't you afraid the sword might recognize an idiot, or someone completely unskilled in martial arts? In that case, possessing the sword would still be useless, wouldn't it?" Guang Huo nodded. "That's an excellent question. But everything I've told you so far is top-level Church secret. You must swear not to tell a single third party, do you understand?" Mo Han paused, unable to contain his curiosity for the answer, and finally agreed.

Seeing Mo Han acquiesce, Guang Huo continued, "In fact, based on our understanding, the supreme martial arts manuals are inscribed within the divine sword itself. Once the sword acknowledges someone, they can rapidly learn the techniques within. You can already imagine the destructive potential of those martial arts, I trust? Therefore, the scenario you described will never come to pass."

Mo Han's eyes lit up. "There’s such a thing? If I could learn those techniques, wouldn't that be incredible?" Guang Huo smiled. "That would only happen if you gain the sword's recognition, of course. Otherwise, it's just daydreaming."

Mo Han felt a pang of disappointment. "True. For now, it is just wishful thinking, haha."

Inside, Mo Han made a silent resolution: once he found the Divine Sword of Transmission, no matter the method—deception, trickery, or flattery—he would make it acknowledge him as its master. He yearned desperately to elevate his strength to its absolute peak, hoping that perhaps then he would have a chance to return to Earth—a dream he had held onto since his arrival.

Guang Huo then continued, "Your most vital task now is to enhance your own power. That way, you'll have a better chance when we reach the Azure Ancient Ruins. And to increase your strength, I believe you need to venture out and seek more adventures. That's how your cultivation will progress the fastest."

Hearing Guang Huo's suggestion, Mo Han nodded in agreement. "I was planning on doing just that. I intend to leave the Heavenly Dragon Empire with Dai Li and the others in the next couple of days to seek experience elsewhere. I just hadn't had the chance to tell you yet."

Guang Huo nodded again. "That’s excellent. I’m planning to depart soon as well. I will seek you out when the time comes, and I hope to see significant improvement in your strength by then."

Mo Han quickly agreed.

After bidding Guang Huo farewell, he returned to the Murong Estate.

Upon his arrival, Murong Tian had not yet returned from the Imperial Palace. Seeing Mo Han back, everyone immediately gathered around, asking anxiously about the situation at the palace—they had seen the most urgent distress signal flare from the imperial grounds. Mo Han recounted the incident with the black-clad figure, though he deliberately downplayed the details, framing the Underworld General merely as an ordinary member of the Underworld Race. He knew if Dai Li knew the true extent of his reckless risk-taking, she would worry endlessly, and he preferred to spare her that.
