"Really?" Anna asked with innocent charm. "Then you'll treat me like you treat big sister Kelly? I really want that too."

Damn, Mo Han thought, how are the girls these days more forward than me?

But he answered verbally, "Of course I will."

This made Anna instantly delighted.

The Swordsman, Latin, watched this scene, an undeniable ache rising in his chest. He had always loved Kelly, hoping to bring her happiness, yet she consistently refused him. Oh well, he thought, wasn't his only wish for Kelly to be happy? He could see it in her expression; these were things he couldn't give her. And this young Priest across from him, though seemingly not exceptionally skilled, constantly brought forth surprises. He hoped Mo Han could truly bring Kelly happiness, sparing her from so much future pain.

With that thought, Latin approached Kelly and said, "Kelly, congratulations..." The rest of the words caught in his throat.

Kelly replied, "Thank you, Latin. Thank you for always staying by my side."

Latin said with a pained heart, "It's nothing. Seeing you happy puts my mind at ease."

Watching them, Mo Han mused, This kid actually isn't bad. To be so devoted to one woman—I wonder if I could be so detached. Considering how long he looked after Kelly, I should probably lend him a hand.

So, Mo Han handed the Knight Sword he had just drawn to Latin. "Take this weapon. It's useless to me anyway."

Latin asked in surprise, "Is this really for me? This is an invaluable treasure, a weapon you likely couldn't buy even with endless money."

Mo Han smiled lightly. "Heh, are you expecting me to cast healing spells with a sword?" His remark made everyone in the room laugh, dissolving the recent somber atmosphere.

Latin took the sword with trembling hands. "I promise you, I will cherish it as I would my own life. Thank you."

Mo Han smiled in reply, "Heh, since it's a gift, how you use it is entirely up to your discretion."

Anna, standing nearby, chimed in, "Brother Mo Han, that's unfair! I want one too! Why only Latin? What about me?" Mo Han laughed and replied, "Of course, you won't be left out," before producing a golden shortbow from his ring. The bow was inlaid with two Wind-elemental magic crystals, capable of increasing the arrow's speed and lethality—clearly a fine item.

Anna snatched the little golden bow from Mo Han's hand in delight, thanking him repeatedly, as if afraid he might change his mind, which only brought another smile to Mo Han's face.

At that moment, Mo Han felt four intense gazes fixed on his back. He knew it had to be Rock and Jack. Having received such excellent weapons, they must have been itching for something, yet too polite to ask.

So, Mo Han pulled out a large black axe and a crimson staff from his ring and offered them. The two quickly offered their thanks and accepted them happily.

The black axe exuded a chilling aura that could be felt even from a distance, while the staff was perfectly suited for Jack's Fire affinity, inlaid with a crystal from a sixth-level Fire-elemental beast, the Blazing Lion.

Truthfully, these were merely some of the more common items in Mo Han's spatial storage. It wasn't that he was stingy; it was because their current strength wasn't sufficient. Giving them better weapons now would only mean they couldn't maximize the weapons' true power, leading only to trouble.

As the saying goes: an innocent man is doomed by his wealth.

Even Mo Han's ordinary stock was considered top-tier on this continent. As for Kelly, Mo Han had meticulously selected a feminine Knight Sword for her. The blade emitted a pale blue light imbued with Ice magic, and the hilt held a crystal from a seventh-level Wind-elemental beast, which would significantly boost the wielder's agility and speed. Furthermore, striking an enemy would slow their movement—it was undeniably superb.

Next, Mo Han casually produced level-five Fire crystals for Latin and Rock, instructing them to sell the gems and purchase supplies needed for entering the plains.

With a substantial sum of money remaining, and their immediate issues resolved, the group finally entered the Plains of Adventure.

Shortly after Mo Han and his party entered the plains, inside a residence within the city, Chris, the leader of the Wolf Mercenary Group, sat leisurely sipping tea in the central chair.

Just then, a middle-aged man carrying a bow entered. The man leaned in and whispered something into Chris’s ear. After he finished, Chris asked, "Are you absolutely certain they have entered the Plains of Adventure?" The man replied respectfully, "Absolutely certain, my lord. I watched them enter before daring to return and report." "Good, good," Chris said happily. "Flying Cloud Mercenary Group—what you gave me, I shall repay a hundredfold. Cross me, and you won't leave the Plains of Adventure alive." He turned to the middle-aged man. "Order all group members to assemble. Depart."

Meanwhile, Mo Han and his party had already been in the plains for two days. Along the way, they frequently encountered other adventuring teams. Upon seeing the crest on Mo Han's team banner, the other adventurers cast strange glances—why would an E-rank team venture into the Plains of Adventure? Only the two beautiful women in Mo Han's party occasionally drew envious stares.

Anna asked Kelly curiously, "Big sister Kelly, where are the Silver Wolves? I haven't seen many magical beasts on the road." Kelly smiled and replied, "We're only just deep enough into the plains now. The first few days were near the edges, filled with other teams; where would the beasts be?"

Ever since Mo Han’s confession to Kelly, the smiles on her face had noticeably increased. The others in the team sensed it—a woman in love is the happiest; this was a true depiction of that sentiment, they all sighed internally. Anna said innocently to Mo Han, "Brother Mo Han, do you think we can defeat the Silver Wolf King? I hope we only encounter a lone Silver Wolf King."

Hearing her words, everyone displayed amused expressions.

Mo Han replied with a smile, "Anna, didn't you hear Jack and the others? Silver Wolves always move in packs. How could there be a lone Silver Wolf King? But perhaps a lecherous Silver Wolf King might hear what you said, Anna, and run over to meet our lovely little Anna, that's possible too."

Upon hearing Mo Han praise her beauty, Anna blushed and said, "Stop it, Brother Mo Han! You're teasing me again! I'm telling big sister Kelly!" But she was still secretly pleased by his compliment, which made everyone laugh again. The shy little sprite quickly hid in Kelly's arms to act spoiled.

Kelly interjected with a gentle smile, "Alright, stop teasing Anna."

"Big sister Kelly is the best! Brother Mo Han is a big bad guy," Anna grumbled under her breath.

Damn, so I’m the bad guy now? Mo Han thought innocently.

Only Kelly gazed at Mo Han with a deep, meaningful look, then glanced at Anna in her embrace, a slight smile playing on her lips.

Evening arrived unnoticed. Following Mo Han's suggestion, they found a spot to pitch tents and prepare dinner. Mo Han, meanwhile, set up several protective barriers around the campsite; if anyone or any beast approached, the barriers would trigger, alerting him.

When he returned to the camp after finishing these tasks, everyone had already set up their own tents and prepared dinner.

After eating, Kelly proposed they divide into three shifts to stand watch. Mo Han had wanted to stay with Kelly, but Anna clung to her relentlessly, forcing Mo Han to pair up with Rock instead, which secretly annoyed him. However, there was nothing he could do if Anna objected.

Forget it, Mo Han told himself, a gentleman doesn't fight with a lady. I'll endure.
