What counted as something special? If taken at face value, the term held countless interpretations. Yet based on Yuyuko's expression and tone combined with the surrounding atmosphere, Lin Luo immediately discerned the true meaning behind that two-word label.
In other words, to assimilate those nine strands of inverted causality, he would first need to engage in some special activity with the host - establishing a genuine connection between himself and "the nine inverted causalities born from the host." Theoretically sound as this explanation was - akin to completing prerequisites before mastering advanced techniques - an unsettling thought struck him: did that mean he'd have to partake in such activities with every single host?
Lin Luo couldn't be certain whether Yuyuko was pulling his leg, but the proposition felt absurd. Yet upon reflection, she truly had no reason to deceive him.
"Seriously?" Lin Luo finally blurted out.
"Of course it's serious," Yuyuko replied, "you should understand the nature of world hearts better than I do. And having sealed a world heart yourself, you must comprehend how crucial these connections are..." She hesitated slightly before continuing with reluctant candor, "...given our master-apprentice relationship, your discomfort is entirely understandable - and frankly, I can't shake off all restraint either."
"Let's think of another approach then," Lin Luo rushed to suggest.
"I've already thought of one."
"Huh?"
Yuyuko fixed him with that familiar gaze - the one that transported him back to his first encounter in Gensokyo. Mystical and alluring, her mind worked like a labyrinth plotting hidden schemes. "The reason we can't act freely is this master-apprentice dynamic," she said, "so solving it should be simple enough..."
Lin Luo immediately felt a cold dread creep up his spine. "So you're thinking of..."
Yuyuko leaned closer with a delicate smile. "My current cultivation level is Heaven Tier Third Realm - while still trailing behind your Nine Heavens attainment, the gap isn't insurmountable. And now that you've regressed to Heaven Tier First Realm, erasing our memories through realm power won't be difficult at all... I'll restore both of us to the mental state we had when you first arrived in Gensokyo - same for me. Our intended activities will still take precedence though," she concluded smoothly, "so are you ready?"
"Wait-wait!" Lin Luo's face paled as he grasped what was happening. This wasn't some abstract concept - this was literal brainwashing!
"The Realm of Forgetting and Remembering!"
Before he could voice his objections, Yuyuko tapped her folding fan against his forehead... Time crystallized in an instant, silence descending upon the world like a sudden hush. When reality reactivated moments later, both their gazes had transformed - no longer burdened by solemnity but instead tinged with worldly passion and romantic entanglements.
This was entirely expected. The Lin Luo of this moment wasn't the one who'd awakened past-life memories or risked everything to defeat Luo Tianyi through sheer determination. This was the version who first entered Gensokyo, driven by fantasies of transforming it into his harem while slightly lost in primal desires.
The differences between these iterations weren't merely about strength but also about subtly distinct motivations and pursuits. And Yuyuko mirrored this transformation - from a Heaven Tier Third Realm warrior preparing for her ultimate confrontation with Luo Tianyi to the familiar slumbering, gluttonous, voyeuristic sage she'd always been.
Of course, this particular sage would sacrifice anything for Gensokyo's sake.
Thus established her narrative: today, she needed to partake in these special activities with Lin Luo or else lose everything. "Are you ready now?" she purred, crouching down as her hands settled on his chest. Her breath was soft and sultry as she leaned in close, eyes shimmering with intoxicating allure.
The scent of jasmine enveloped him before he could react to this face inches away - flawless porcelain skin, rosy lips slightly parted. Lin Luo found himself paralyzed as Yuyuko's fingers traced lazy circles across his chest, igniting primal responses within. His hands had somehow migrated to her shoulders, pulling the eager beauty into an embrace.
"Hehe," Yuyuko giggled before sliding inside his shirt with nimble hands. Her lips descended like petals meeting dew-kissed soil as they fused together in a kiss that melted away inhibitions.
Her delicate tongue explored every crevice while Lin Luo feverishly undressed her, fingers trembling against silken skin that felt like woven moonlight. The elasticity of those divine curves drove him to press harder, his exploration becoming bolder with each second.
Soon their naked bodies became one writhing entity across the grasslands, a tangle of limbs and heated breaths.
Ancient flutes once produced celestial melodies when played by jade hands; now this sage's flute outshone even those legends in divine beauty.
Pearls of sweat cascaded like spring raindrops onto her angelic face as she gazed up at the towering figure above her, eyes shimmering with yearning. Her lips parted to capture each droplet before vanishing into a passionate kiss.
Suddenly a sly smile crept across her lips - one belonging to no virtuous maiden but rather a wildflower untamed by convention. With renewed ferocity she launched an assault that sent her attacker tumbling, his dominance crumbling like autumn leaves beneath relentless wind while his proud pillar of strength remained defiantly upright.
Yet even the mightiest oak succumbed to unseen roots as darkness swallowed all light in one fell swoop. Amidst the golden tresses dancing across the endless meadow, ancient boughs groaned under impossible pressure as they attempted to push back against this singular force.
The battle of good and evil raged on with increasing intensity, each collision producing symphonic cries that echoed through time itself. But for all its ferocity, darkness proved no match for unyielding righteousness - just like now when those countless righteous warriors finally overwhelmed the corrupted depths...
When their bodies collapsed in exhausted entanglement, enemies had become lovers sharing a tender moment of rare peace.
...Yuyuko departed with a satisfied smile on her face. At that precise instant, Lin Luo's memories returned to normal as agreed upon completion of these special activities - the realm power binding them now dissolved entirely.
But for Lin Luo, this wasn't where his ordeal ended.
As previously established, these "special activities" required participation not just from Yuyuko but also every other host.
"So it's your turn next?" Lin Luo stared at the approaching figure with mixed emotions. The timing was either ironically poetic or tragically coincidental - these two women who were both sworn enemies and childhood friends had arrived one after another like clockwork.
"I'm similar to her," Fuuka Kagami stated bluntly as she stood before him, "though I don't have any realm-based abilities to make you forget."
"You're only half right," Kagami smiled mysteriously. While lacking spiritual power, my magic bullets can certainly erase memories for you... BOOM!"
The rest went unsaid as a massive magical projectile engulfed Lin Luo entirely.
As the saying goes - if you hit someone hard enough they'll forget who they are. Though somewhat hyperbolic, Kagami's current strength could indeed make such poetic justice reality.
Once Lin Luo had lost these crucial (or not so crucial) memories, Kagami transformed into a devil incarnate. With ruthless efficiency she began to seduce the innocent human soul before her, luring it toward an abyss of corruption through honeyed words and devious tactics.
Flowers bloom for beauty's sake - they also emit intoxicating fragrances that can ensnare minds. As a flower demon, Kagami possessed both exquisite appearance and alluring charm far surpassing mere blossoms meant only to be admired from afar.
Underneath his fingers, pale skin shimmered with dew-like softness as layers of clothing fell away like petals in spring. The human victim succumbed utterly to this beautiful delusion - overwhelmed by twin mountains that stole his breath, lured by sweet lips that made food taste irrelevant. He greedily consumed the nectar pooling at their intersection while her thighs warmed under his kisses and caresses until a misty Eden between them reached fever pitch.
Each violent thrust echoed like crashing waves against cliffs, producing music as beautiful as any symphony in his ears - melodies proclaiming ecstasy with every note.
Good vs evil erupted into battle once more, vowing to fight until the skies themselves shattered. Yet this time the enemy proved formidable indeed, able to repel even the most aggressive righteous attacks before seizing control of the battlefield itself.
However when those countless warriors finally breached the final line and flooded the depths beyond, even this beautiful yet sinister flower demon eventually yielded - kneeling before her conquerors with hands and mouth alike confessing her sins in a penitent show of devotion...
P.S. When I heard that "nothing below the collarbone can be shown," I couldn't help but feel like a gentleman should express his displeasure. Though perhaps reality isn't as extreme, some readers would understand this recent wave of censorship is quite intense. Hence why I've resorted to these metaphorical expressions... It's simply not satisfying enough!
Why must it be this way when I finally get to "fall" for both Mama Yuyuko and Mama Kagami?!!!
