What a wonderful day this is, 201314—such a special date! It would be a shame not to ask for votes, wouldn't it? ... Thanks to the efforts—or perhaps the sheer mischief—of Arthur and his siblings, the lives of most of the Twenty-Seven Ancestors have been thrown into utter chaos.

Take the Second Ancestor, the Dark Six Sovereigns. Ever since she was tricked by Lin Luo last time, she has been hiding within the Church's secret sanctuary for over a thousand years, accumulating power for her resurrection while simultaneously plotting to rule all Twenty-Seven Ancestors. Originally, in less than a century, she would have achieved complete revival.

A century might seem like an eternity to humans, but for an Ancestor, it is nothing.

However, this recent action by Arthur and his group not only exposed her hiding place but nearly cost her the power she had painstakingly gathered over a millennium. Thankfully, as one of Earth’s candidate UOs, she was no paper tiger; though she did not gain the upper hand in the battle against Ye Xing, she did not lose either.

But now that she was exposed, remaining in the Church's sanctuary became impossible. Reluctantly, she had to abandon the place where she had rested and recuperated for so many years. Yet, the matter did not end there; one might say, the tragedy of the Dark Six Sovereigns was only just beginning from this moment.

After leaving the sanctuary, the Dark Six Sovereigns was subjected to a relentless, storm-like pursuit by Ye Xing, driving her to distraction and forcing her into another retreat... She fled not out of fear, nor because she was a pacifist, but because she didn't want to waste the power she had accumulated over so many years. Moreover, the battle was messy and unclear, and the enemy's identity was equally vague. To fight them to the death would require a broken mind.

Of course, if the enemy's strength were weak enough for her to instantly obliterate, she wouldn't hesitate to spend a little power. But her opponent was her equal. In such a scenario, retreating was the only sensible option.

Still, running proved useless. With so many satellites monitoring the entire Earth, if the Science Girl, Chi Yue, wished it, she could easily watch everyone's nightlife as if it were a late-night continuous drama. Coupled with the fact that Arthur's side possessed superior sensory tracking of auras, where could she possibly flee?

Thus, no matter how the Dark Six Sovereigns ran, she could never escape the fate of being pursued. And under the deliberate maneuvering of Arthur and his allies, the direction of her escape was precisely guided toward Fuyuki City.

Even someone as cunning and calculating as the Dark Six Sovereigns failed to notice this.

This was only natural. After expending so much manpower and resources, who would ever suspect that the goal was merely to drive her somewhere? It seemed like they had nothing better to do.

However, the Dark Six Sovereigns was not the most tragic figure. In comparison, the Mercury Great Spider O.T. was far more pitiful... This giant spider had always lived in South America, adhering to a simple philosophy: I won't bother you if you don't bother me. It spent its days either eating until full or sleeping until rested, living a life of absolute leisure.

But one day, someone as formidable as a "Bear Grylls" figure suddenly showed up—and that was truly life-threatening.

Not only was its territory invaded, but it was also treated as mere food. The Mercury Great Spider's fury was immense. It immediately unleashed its divine might, intending to crush this human boy into dust so he could learn how the Fifth Ancestor truly died back then!

The Mercury Great Spider was, after all, a Mercury UO, one of the strongest among all the UOs. At least Zhu Yue and the Venus UO would absolutely never dare provoke it. Its true strength had always been an unknown variable. When such an entity unleashes its wrath, the terror it inspires is enough to make anyone tremble.

While Begris was famed for his invincible armor, his actual combat prowess could not be considered absolute. Even with the World King Lin Xiao Ke as his backer and possessing boundless resources, a few short years were not enough for him to challenge a being of the Mercury Great Spider's supreme caliber.

After hundreds of rounds, Begris was smashed into a pulp of meat by the Mercury Great Spider.

Yet, this wasn't enough to kill Begris. Because, as a professional gourmand, the focus wasn't on how to find or consume food; the most critical prerequisite was... that he couldn't be eaten to death!

After all, in this era, no one knew how much of the periodic table was contained within their food. Take a palm-sized slice of qiegao [a type of traditional confection]; it might be condensed from twenty thousand tons of the periodic table. If an ordinary person ate that, they would ascend to heaven instantly.

Therefore, to be a professional gourmand, one must inherently possess a body that cannot be killed by eating.

Begris was a certified gourmand. Not only could he not be eaten to death, but he also couldn't be killed. Having comprehended the Root of the Gourmand, as long as that root wasn't eradicated, he could resurrect to full capacity on the spot, even if he were reduced to mere cellulose, let alone a pile of mush.

Of course, there was still an insurmountable gap in strength between him and the Mercury Great Spider—a gap that resurrection alone could not bridge. So, even at full power, defeating the Mercury Great Spider was as difficult as ascending to heaven, let alone driving it toward Fuyuki City.

But it didn't matter if he couldn't win alone. After all, they had over twenty brothers and sisters, and while the Ancestors were called the Twenty-Seven, those currently active or discoverable by them were less than half the total, meaning at least half of them were free to do as they pleased.

So, after resurrecting, Begris unhesitatingly called for reinforcements. In mere moments, seven or eight people arrived in a rush... including the shut-in fatty Xiang Xin Zhi, Lin Xiao Ke's direct disciples Shi Yue Ji and Kyoko, Long Tian Yang who excelled in Nanto Seiken, the Ranger adept in assassination arts, and Yu Wan, whose intelligence was slightly lower than 9 but whose combat power was immense, earning him the moniker "The Fool."

These individuals were all Arthur’s younger siblings. Except for Shi Yue Ji and Kyoko, who had always followed Lin Xiao Ke, the other four were essentially Arthur's nominal apprentices... To be precise, Arthur taught them skills but without formal master-disciple titles, as they were siblings to begin with, so such formalities were unnecessary.

In terms of strength, they were all comparable to Ye Xing and Leinte; measured against the Twenty-Seven Ancestors, they could easily break into the top ten.

Once these six joined the fray, even the powerful Mercury Great Spider wouldn't have an easy time. Furthermore, these siblings were not limited to fighting alone; their combined strength far exceeded the sum of their parts.

And most importantly, Wu Yi, who had previously succeeded in charming the Venus UO, also joined the fight.

This blonde loli, despite being the youngest among the siblings, possessed strength that ranked among the very best—at least at the UO level. Even in a one-on-one confrontation, she might not lose to the Mercury Great Spider.

Thus, when these eight surged forward together, the Mercury Great Spider's predicament was predictable.

It was fortunate that they consistently adhered to the mission directive of only driving them away and not killing them; otherwise, it was unknown if the Mercury Great Spider would survive the end of the world.

Next was the team consisting of Ji Shui and the Twenty-First Ancestor, Water Demon Smithsley. One excelled at fishing, and the other lived in the water. Although there were no direct counter attributes, it was common knowledge that while Water Demon Smithsley's strength ranked among the top five of the Twenty-Seven Ancestors, her intelligence was a critical flaw, coupled with the weakness of being unable to leave the water. Targeting her weaknesses was quite straightforward.

However, what troubled Ji Shui was how to lure this Water Demon to Fuyuki City; that proved to be a rather thorny problem.

Following this, Smithsley's frenemy, the Fifteenth Ancestor, the vampire noble Rita Rojyan, was no longer as elegant as before; under the might of Zhu Ji's divine arrows, she nearly took an arrow straight to the face.

But perhaps the most tragic fate befell Merlon Solomon. This powerful being, who appeared as a cute young boy but was actually extremely cunning and sly, had finally met his true nemesis this time.

Although Arthur repeatedly warned Leinte not to harbor any ill intentions, this individual whose sexual orientation defied the norm could hardly resist doing something when faced with such a beautiful youth... It was like a lecher encountering a beauty; even if he couldn't physically conquer her, taking liberties with touch and words was never withheld.

Thus, while fighting Leinte, Merlon Solomon also had to endure his teasing. The pressure on him was immense. He couldn't even utilize fifty percent of his full strength, ending up thoroughly humbled, utterly defeated, and stripped of his armor and helmet.

Perhaps the only one relatively lucky was the Black Wing Duke. His opponent was the Science Girl, Chi Yue. In terms of raw power, Chi Yue was clearly inferior to the Black Wing Duke. However, armed with all sorts of scientific marvels, repelling Chi Yue was no easy feat, especially after the Science Girl’s spatial bomb completely obliterated the Black Wing Duke’s castle—which left the Duke utterly stunned.

Finally, facing such an overwhelming disparity in strength, these targeted Twenty-Seven Ancestors fell completely into Arthur and his group's encirclement. As the net gradually tightened, they were all driven toward Fuyuki City.

Though some astute Ancestors were beginning to sense that something was amiss, they couldn't quite pinpoint the problem. What puzzled them even more was... where did this group of incredibly powerful humans come from?

While the Twenty-Seven Ancestors mostly kept to themselves, it didn't mean they were ignorant. They were well aware of the humans in this world. Although there were powerful humans capable of threatening their lives—such as Magicians—the sudden appearance of so many humans capable of matching, and even gaining an advantage over, a powerful Ancestor in a one-on-one fight was simply unscientific!

Had the world changed too quickly, or had they simply become obsolete? They hadn't the faintest idea! ... The siege against the Twenty-Seven Ancestors might have meant nothing to ordinary humans—those still adhering to nine-to-five jobs would continue doing so, and those embezzling public funds would continue their hedonistic ways. But for the Magus Association and the Church, this was a monumental event.

Don't ask how they found out; Arthur hadn't been particularly discreet about this matter. The influence of the Church and the Magus Association reached the highest echelons. After all, for years, the Church and the Association had kept the Twenty-Seven Ancestors suppressed, and they even had their own people among the Ancestors; they couldn't possibly miss any significant movement.

Putting the Magus Association aside—since the majority of it was controlled by Arthur’s family—they remained perfectly calm after receiving the initial whispers from above. The Church, however, descended into chaos.

Since several hundred years prior, when a crucial figure from the Arthur family died because of the Church, the two factions had been secretly at odds. Arthur’s family placing agents within the Magus Association was partly intended to check the Church's influence, and countless clandestine skirmishes had taken place between them.

Given this relationship, the Church certainly couldn't afford to miss any intelligence.

Therefore, upon learning that the majority of the Twenty-Seven Ancestors had revealed themselves, the Church’s high command was shaken. They vaguely sensed a colossal conspiracy brewing. Unable to sit still, they immediately dispatched the Church’s Executors and secret weapons, tracking the Ancestors’ auras.

Meanwhile, the Arthur family had embedded spies within the Church. Though their positions were insignificant, they could still learn of such a major event. Thus, when the Church mobilized, the spies immediately sent out warnings. The Magus Association was the first to receive this news due to the ease of communication.

The Dean of the Magus Association held considerable standing within the Arthur family. He was fully aware of the purpose behind this operation targeting the Twenty-Seven Ancestors. Upon learning of the Church’s movement, he too became unsettled.

Why? Because Arthur was the heir apparent to the family, and even Arthur’s associates would be the core pillars of the family in a few years—truly the future flowers of the nation. Even though he knew Arthur’s group was strong, the Church was not an entity to be ignored. If any accident occurred, he couldn't bear the responsibility.

Soon, he mobilized numerous strong fighters, following the already established routes to intercept and prepare countermeasures against the Church's actions.

And so, amidst this messy entanglement, not only the Twenty-Seven Ancestors and the UOs, but also large contingents from the Church and the Magus Association, were all advancing toward Fuyuki City... When implementing the plan to drive the Twenty-Seven Ancestors, Arthur hadn't thought too deeply about the consequences. But as events unfolded, through sheer serendipity, the situation was developing in a manner most favorable to Lin Luo.

Perhaps this proves the old saying... A fool is sometimes blessed with foolish luck. It was precisely because of Arthur’s mediocre intellect that he executed Lin Luo’s instructions almost perfectly.

“What did you say? Both the Ancestors and the Church are making moves?” Just as multiple factions were mobilizing, the Dark Princess, Altrouge, also caught wind of the news. After receiving accurate information from the White Knight, she burst into laughter, stroking the head of the White Beast as she said, "That's wonderful news. I feel like stretching my limbs a bit, hehehe."

Simultaneously, a maiden wandering the streets and alleys, as pure and beautiful as a princess, looked up at the sky. Her previously innocent and bright expression gradually turned solemn.

"It seems something big is happening..." As she spoke, the girl's gaze was already directed toward the area with the most intense fluctuations in aura. ... On the sixth day of Arthur and his group's expulsion plan, a girl appeared in the Fuyuki City subway station. She looked about eleven or twelve years old, with short white hair, crimson eyes, and a light blue dress that fluttered gently in the breeze.

The girl squinted slightly, looking sleepy.

Several delinquents nearby noticed her, their eyes lighting up. They exchanged knowing glances and approached, but just as they got within three meters of the girl, the spider tattoo etched on her arm suddenly flashed. Following several muffled thuds, the delinquents lay sprawled on the ground, their fate unknown.
