Time flowed onward, and in the blink of an eye, ten years had passed... Oh, wait, it was only ten days!

Though merely ten days had elapsed, the idiom "a day feels like a year" truly captured the sentiment for most of the maidens in Gensokyo; these ten days felt as long as a decade. Having resided in Gensokyo for years, decades, or even millennia, they had long grown accustomed to its life and atmosphere. To suddenly be forced to relocate to another world was genuinely difficult to accept.

However, whether reluctantly or with nothing left to hold them back, they all had to depart today.

The incursion of Common Sense arrived faster and more fiercely than anticipated. Even though Lin Luo and Yakumo Yukari had reinforced the barrier, attempting to suppress Common Sense, their combined power was utterly incapable of contending with a worldview.

When Common Sense clashed with the Unconventional, Gensokyo, now stripped of the Dragon God's power, possessed no room for resistance. The original balance was utterly shattered. Within these brief ten days, the aberrations that occurred exceeded the total number encountered by any single Hakurei Miko in her entire lifetime.

Fortunately, Gensokyo was currently teeming with powerful beings, augmented by the presence of twelve Hakurei Miko, which had managed to suppress these anomalies. Yet, everyone knew that if these "Unconventional" presences continued to linger, Gensokyo would eventually overload, giving rise to aberrations even they couldn't control.

Thus, for the sake of Gensokyo and for their own sakes, they had no choice but to leave.

"It’s strange. Even without the Great Barrier, when the Hakurei Great Barrier didn't exist before, we didn't experience such frequent and numerous aberrations. What exactly is happening now?" Aya Shameimaru, being a journalist, not only possessed a knack for digging up gossip but also the potential to uncover truth, posing a very sharp question.

This question also puzzled many others. Over five hundred years ago, before the Hakurei Great Barrier was established, Gensokyo relied solely on Yukari's barrier to conceal itself from the Outside World, becoming an obscure, hidden realm. While the balance in Gensokyo wasn't perfect then, aberrations were infrequent, usually limited to unruly Youkai acting without regard for the rules.

The frequent occurrences of massive aberrations, as seen now, were unprecedented.

"This question is actually quite easy to explain." Yakumo Yukari observed the bewildered expressions of the crowd. "Back then, although Youkai were gradually fading from the stage, there still existed quite a few Youkai outside Gensokyo, like the little vampire sitting over there..."

"I am not little!" Seeing Yukari’s gaze drift towards her, Remilia immediately stood up, glaring with wide, displeased eyes, her face etched with annoyance.

Yukari retracted her gaze, ignoring her, and continued, "At that time, even though the world was dominated by humans and saturated with Common Sense, the Unconventional still existed. There were even a small minority of humans who still believed in the existence of demons and monsters. Therefore, even without the Hakurei Great Barrier, Gensokyo's balance would not have completely collapsed."

"Ugh... ugh!" Seeing herself so utterly ignored by Yukari, Remilia was nearly driven mad, pouting and making muffled sounds, appearing on the verge of an outburst. However, thanks to Sakuya’s timely calming intervention, she ultimately refrained from jumping out to cause trouble, sitting back down resentfully.

On the other side, Yukari spoke fluently, "But as human scientific civilization advanced ever faster, under their worldview filled with science, anything unscientific was completely eliminated from their consciousness. They no longer believed in the existence of monsters or gods; matter and technology became the sole reality in the human world."

"To give an example, if someone posted online in the Outside World saying, 'I saw the undead dancing in the sky today,' the replies would certainly be things like, 'That’s unscientific!', 'The OP must have water in their brain,' 'OP, lay off the fantasy novels,' or 'Earth is dangerous, OP, get back to Mars!'—comments of that nature."

"..." Lin Luo heard her analogy and had no idea how to critique it; he could only think: That analogy is perfectly scientific.

The others were likely stunned into silence by Yukari’s strange example. Only Renko, looking at Yukari, seemed to see a kindred spirit. She nodded while wiping away tears, "She’s right, she’s absolutely right. I posted something about the paranormal not long ago, intending to find like-minded partners, but when I checked my computer the next day, people were practically roasting me alive."

Renko was sobbing pitifully, tears streaming down her face.

Of course, you’d get roasted for posting something unscientific on a scientific network. Do you really think you’re part of some scientific Secret Sealing Club? Lin Luo thought to himself.

Renko and Marisa hadn't left Gensokyo since their last visit, so naturally, they participated in this gathering. As for where they would ultimately go—the Netherworld or back to their own reality—Lin Luo leaned toward the latter, as Marisa, unlike Renko, still had family. No matter how interested she was in the paranormal, she couldn't possibly abandon her home and mother to travel to another world.

"As everyone knows, the majority of Youkai and Gods rely on human faith to survive, and some are even born from it. When people feared the darkness, the power of that fear converged, and terrifying Youkai sprouted from the shadows. When people began praying for a god to save them, this condensed faith gave birth to the blessed deity."

"So, when people cease to believe in the existence of Youkai and spirits, those Youkai and Gods born from faith lose their place to exist. When people completely forget them, they vanish forever. Take the two deities sitting over there; didn't they come to Gensokyo precisely because they received human faith in the Outside World?" Yukari stated calmly, looking toward Suwako Moriya and Kanako Yasaka.

"Why must you always use others as examples?" Suwako and Kanako wore expressions of utter helplessness, but they couldn't find any grounds for rebuttal.

Yukari closed her eyes and continued, "Nowadays, humans in the Outside World no longer fear the darkness, nor do they believe in gods. They firmly believe that only humanity itself is the most powerful, and under such a concept, everything Unconventional has been excluded. Thus, when this Common Sense began to invade Gensokyo, this small paradise could no longer resist. The aberrations arose from this. Therefore, leaving Gensokyo is our only recourse, otherwise, one day, even we ourselves will be consumed by Common Sense."

As Yukari spoke these words, there was a distinct note of sorrow in her tone.

"Um... I have a question too." After a moment of silence, Marisa suddenly raised her hand. "While I don't deny the power of humans in this era, no matter how strong they become, they can't possibly surpass our combat strength here... Of course, I’m not suggesting we fight the Outside World, but hypothetically, if our two sides were to clash, shouldn't we have the better odds? Is saying this is our 'only recourse' a bit exaggerated?"

"Hey, aren't you human?" Before Marisa could finish, Alice interjected with a jab.

Marisa thumped her chest proudly, "Of course I am. I’m a genuine human... Wait, why are you asking that? Are you implying I’m not human so you can demand back the things you lent me? I told you I’d return them when I die; you all have much longer lifespans than me anyway."

"..." Alice was left speechless; that wasn't her intention at all!

After Marisa's outburst, more than ninety percent of those present looked depressed. Clearly, they had all had things 'borrowed' by Marisa. Only Yukari remained composed. "Indeed, with our combined strength, if we truly went to war with humanity, we would have an absolute advantage. Preliminary estimates suggest it would take a maximum of one day to wipe out all humans..."

"Then let's fight! That way we won't have to leave Gensokyo!" Marisa jumped up before Yukari could finish speaking, adopting an expression ready to lead the charge.

Wait, didn't you just say you didn't want to fight humanity?!

At these words, even Yukari lost her composure. A human suggesting a war against humanity—what on earth was she trying to achieve?

Meanwhile, Lin Luo could only sigh internally, completely failing to understand how a discussion about relocating to the Netherworld had veered so sharply into declaring war on humanity. This thread has gone wildly off-topic!

Indeed, when there isn't an overwhelming crisis, discussing serious matters with this group of unconventional individuals is exhausting.

Lin Luo sighed inwardly. At this juncture, he had to step in and say something. "The key issue right now is not humanity, but Common Sense—it's a worldview. Even if we did wage war against humanity and won, or even annihilated them, this already formed worldview wouldn't change for a very long time. Naturally, Gensokyo would be overlaid by this worldview, and all the Youkai and Gods who rely on human faith would disappear one by one. Do you understand now?"

Marisa tilted her head. "A little bit, but sort of not..."

As soon as she finished speaking, several people collapsed with thuds. At this moment, everyone finally confirmed that Marisa’s language instructor must have died very early.

Keine frowned, contemplating whether she should educate Marisa, as future communication would certainly become a major problem otherwise.

Lin Luo finally lost his patience. He abruptly pulled Hina Kagiyama, who was observing from a distance, over, pointed at her, and addressed Marisa: "Her, Hina, the God of Misfortune dependent on human belief—you know about her, right?"

Hina Kagiyama blushed deeply, shrinking back self-consciously.

"Yes, yes, but can you stop standing so close?" Marisa nodded frantically, instinctively backing away a few steps to escape the range of Misfortune.

Seeing Marisa’s reaction, Lin Luo felt a sudden urge to tie her next to Hina. He spoke with grave seriousness: "Hina exists because of human faith, but this concept contradicts the Common Sense of the Outside World. Once Common Sense completely invades Gensokyo, her existence will vanish; there will be no God of Misfortune then!"

"But she hasn't disappeared now," Marisa mumbled weakly.

"She is still here because I erected a defensive barrier in Gensokyo, blocking the large-scale invasion of Common Sense. But this is temporary. With my current ability, I cannot stand against an entire worldview. At most, my barrier will shatter tomorrow or the day after, and then Hina will simply cease to be. And within Gensokyo, there are countless Gods and Youkai of the same nature as Hina. Their fate then... I shouldn't need to elaborate!" Lin Luo looked at Marisa with an expression of disappointment.

Marisa, at least, wasn't as dense as Cirno. She finally grasped the vivid explanation, nodding repeatedly. "Oh, so that's how it is. You should have said so earlier."

Lin Luo released his grip, allowing Hina to spin away to another spot, and sighed exhaustedly, "I seem to recall mentioning this very problem right at the beginning."

"My memory isn't that great, hehehe," Marisa chuckled foolishly.

Her? Herself? Are you kidding me! Lin Luo nearly spat out blood in frustration. He sighed again, "So, staying here and fighting humanity is completely pointless. Furthermore, wiping out billions of humans for no reason—do you really think you’ve been reincarnated as a God of Destruction?"

Marisa immediately scratched her head and laughed heartlessly, "I just thought the discussion was getting too serious, so I made a joke. Why would I actually fight humanity?"

"Then I suggest you don't make jokes like that," Patchouli said seriously from beside her.

"Why?"

"Look." Patchouli glanced sideways at Flandre Scarlet sitting nearby, then pointed at Koishi Komeiji and Nue Houjuu a little further away, before returning her gaze to her book.

Marisa followed her gaze and immediately noticed that the three girls had expressions brimming with excitement. Clearly, the idea of fighting humanity was highly appealing to them. Since they were not Youkai sustained by faith, even if Common Sense affected them slightly, it couldn't eliminate them.

Realizing this, Marisa immediately shut up, lest she accidentally become the great sinner responsible for humanity's destruction!

Although Marisa's interruptions wasted considerable time, everyone finally understood the danger Common Sense posed to them. There were no further issues in the subsequent discussion; everyone agreed to relocate to the Netherworld. However... could they truly achieve a perfect migration in the less than one day they had left?

When this question was posed, Lin Luo also felt troubled. Initially, he hadn't anticipated such a massive chain reaction following the disappearance of the Dragon God. The invasion of Common Sense was also beyond his expectations. By the time he realized the urgency, time was already critically short.

While the relocation of personnel was not an issue—he could link the two worlds instantly—what about their accumulated assets? Not everyone here was unencumbered. The Scarlet Devil Mansion, for instance, would be relatively easy; they could just be moved wholesale. But the Netherworld Palace was problematic; moving the entire structure might cause the magma beneath the earth to erupt, and the entire underground world was complex and difficult to manage.

Then there was Hakurei Keine; although she had few personal possessions, her nature as a teacher forbade her from abandoning the children of the Human Village. She viewed it as irresponsible conduct. Yet, moving the entire Human Village presented its own myriad of issues.

And the Netherworld's White Jade Pagoda was directly connected to the Outside World's reality. Then there were Heaven and Hell... Although these realms were not strictly part of Gensokyo, they maintained significant connections, and because of the Outside World’s disbelief in the spiritual, these regions could only exist within Gensokyo’s worldview.

While Lin Luo didn't believe Heaven and Hell would vanish entirely under the Common Sense invasion, they would certainly be severely impacted. Since he was the cause of this consequence, simply leaving them to fate would be irresponsible.

The group discussed these problems for a long time without reaching a conclusion. Finally, Lin Luo had no choice but to split his essence. He descended to Hell and ascended to Heaven, bringing down Shiki Eiki Yamaxanadu and a few elderly figures from Heaven he had met before, informing them truthfully of the current situation.

The elders of Heaven were desireless and easy to persuade. As long as their peaceful lives remained undisturbed, they cared little how Lin Luo arranged things.

However, when Shiki Eiki heard the entire story from beginning to end, she immediately flew into a rage!

For two full hours, not a single person could interject. Only this little Yama-sama ranted and scolded without pause. No one present escaped her tirade, and Lin Luo, in particular, was dissected and exposed utterly.

"You scoundrels! The moment I look away, you stir up such a massive mess! How do you plan to solve this enormous problem? Huh! You won't say? What did I teach you all? Do you feel any remorse now? Stop staring at me! I'm talking to you! Don't turn your face away, look at me..."

Everyone was brought to the brink of tears by her scolding, completely unable to get a word in edgewise.

"Um, we don't have much time left, do we?" While Shiki was busy chastising the others, Sakuya quietly asked Lin Luo, pointing toward the sky.

Lin Luo looked up and saw that the sun was setting. Indeed, if Shiki continued scolding them like this, they wouldn't manage to move for another ten years.

Without hesitation, Lin Luo summoned his kingly bearing. He walked behind Shiki, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Whoa!" Startled by the sudden physical contact, Shiki cried out.

Everyone else stared in astonishment.

"What are you doing! Put me down right now!" Shiki struggled while yelling, her face flushed crimson. To be held like this as the dignified Yama was an extreme humiliation.

But Lin Luo ignored her scolding, and the disparity in their strength was too significant; Shiki couldn't break free. Coupled with her petite figure, her struggling and angry shouting lacked any real authority, instead appearing incredibly cute. If one didn't know her status as Yama, she looked like a spoiled little girl throwing a tantrum.

"Stop that. If you're this fierce, you'll never get married," Lin Luo advised when she wouldn't stop yelling.

Shiki became furious. "Marry my foot! I'm the Yama!"

"Even a Yama gets married; don't sweat the details. Also, we have very little time left. If you keep making a scene, many people will die because they won't make the move in time. As a Yama, I doubt you're the type to treat human lives so lightly, are you?" Lin Luo appealed to her emotions and reason.

"Uh..." Upon hearing this, Shiki paused, finally falling quiet.

Meanwhile, Komachi Onozuka was already weeping profusely nearby. She pointed at herself with a miserable expression and looked at the group: "Did I just get unintentionally shot down?" She was a Shinigami; when had she ever treated human lives lightly? That was unfair!

"Don't worry about the details. Here, have some tea." Reimu's temperament had changed considerably since the return of her predecessor. At this moment, she acted like a dutiful wife, helping Lin Luo placate the deeply aggrieved Komachi.

Shiki, being the Yama, needed to maintain her dignity, and since Lin Luo shared ambiguous relationships with many of the maidens present, openly taking liberties was inappropriate. Thus, after Shiki agreed to speak calmly, he released her with swift efficiency, leaving her with no outlet for her anger.

"Alright, let's talk. What exactly do you plan to do?" Shiki asked with a stern face.

"Nothing concrete has been decided yet, but I already have the general direction. I came up with it while you were scolding everyone earlier. I’ll just summarize it briefly..."

Though Lin Luo said 'briefly,' the topic actually consumed them from dusk until deep night, finally concluding the detailed relocation plan for the residents of Gensokyo around the pre-dawn hours.

To everyone present, this plan could only be described in four words: A Grand, Earth-shattering Undertaking!

Because what Lin Luo intended to do was not merely move some people or a few structures, but the entire world! Before the Common Sense from the Outside World could completely invade Gensokyo, he planned to move everything connected by the Unconventional worldview—including Heaven, Hell, the Netherworld, and even the Moon—the entirety of Gensokyo, to the Netherworld!

He would use the same method he employed after his victory in the Fourth Holy War: merging the Crimson World with the Netherworld.

Even without the rewards from the God War, he couldn't have achieved that initial, flawless fusion. However, as the King of his own world, he possessed absolute authority to reshape the Bright Realm—and coupled with his inherent power... transforming the Moon into the Bright Realm's Moon, Hell into the Bright Realm's Hell, Heaven into the Bright Realm's Heaven, and Gensokyo into the Bright Realm's Gensokyo—all of this lay within a mere thought!

Such an audacious, sweeping act was far beyond mere recklessness; it was genuinely earth-shattering. Yet, after careful consideration, everyone realized this was indeed the optimal solution.

As a result, aside from this world no longer harboring any "unscientific" existences, nothing else had truly changed.

Even Marisa and Renko, upon learning that Lin Luo could facilitate their transit between the Bright Realm and this world, became eagerly excited to visit the Bright Realm.

Thus, once everyone agreed, Lin Luo immediately set his plans into motion.

Finally, just as the sun began to crest the horizon that morning, everyone arrived in the Bright Realm.

In this brand-new world, Gensokyo still existed!

PS: I've finally finished. I originally thought this chapter would run until dawn, but as I wrote, that familiar mood of joy and irreverence descended once more, flowing smoothly until the ten-thousand-character goal was met.

Starting tomorrow, we begin a new volume.
