The invincible silver tongue proved useless against these incomprehensible women, and even his bug-like strength couldn't withstand the continuous bombardment from four quasi-Heavenly Tier powerhouses. In such dire straits, Lin Luo couldn't even contemplate mediating; withdrawing gracefully was an extreme difficulty.
Though the hurled planets were only the size of small mountains, their impact force was undiminished. Even an SS-class physique, without defensive measures, would be instantly pulverized. Despite Lin Luo’s ability to create rules for self-preservation, this relentless barrage left him dizzy and disoriented.
Hatsune’s misplaced anger, Haruhi’s entanglement, Dark King’s vigilance, Evil King’s hostility… Lin Luo genuinely couldn't grasp why he, merely an attempt at peacekeeping, had suddenly become the public enemy of all women.
This made absolutely no logical sense; it defied all scientific reasoning!
“Fine. I know reasoning is utterly useless when dealing with women, but you all are pushing this too far. In that case, let’s have a proper fight to the finish!”
Having endured so much beating, Lin Luo was finally provoked. With a roar, the Destruction Killing Sword cleaved through two horizontally charging planets. In that instant, Lin Luo released his grip on the sword, driving the hundred-meter-long blade straight down, his voice cold and merciless: “Scatter, Senbonzakura!”
Though it was a technique cosplaying a certain emotionless character, its destructive power far surpassed that of the original. The Destruction Killing Sword plunged into the cosmic void, sending ripples across space. The hundred-meter blade instantly shattered, transforming into billions of minute fragments that surged outwards in a tide, like an unstoppable wave.
The Evil King’s cosmic tapestry was incinerated instantly. Then, the fragments of the Destruction Black Flame pressed onward toward the Evil King… As the saying goes, capture the king first to subdue the bandits. If the Evil King could be suppressed, her ultimate treasures would cease to be a threat.
Simultaneously, the Dark King’s two Celestial Dragons, Hatsune’s absolute home field advantage, and Konno Haruhi’s meteor shower were all annihilated by the destructive flames. This power—the power to burn anything—forced them to instinctively retreat.
But merely achieving this wouldn't be enough to stop them; Lin Luo never expected sheer destruction to suppress all four. Any momentary success was heavily weighted by luck, as none of them had truly exerted their full strength.
Thus, in that brief window, Lin Luo released his Rule Creation ability in a spiral formation, merging it with the surrounding cosmic void. Spinning continuously in a circular motion, it formed the broadest possible defensive net. With every rotation, the power of creation intensified, ceaseless and inexhaustible, pushing every point of defense to its absolute peak.
Merging with the world, allowing the Rule Creation to harmonize with universal laws while unleashing its most formidable power—this was the ultimate defensive skill Lin Luo could deploy: the Pinnacle Throne!
Like a colossal galactic system, Lin Luo resided at the very center point, surrounded by dozens of defensive rings extended by the Rule Creation. Further out still were the billions of shards of the imperishable Destruction Black Flame, creating a perfect integration of offense and defense.
“This fellow!” Though the Evil King was arrogant and proud, her expression became intensely serious upon witnessing Lin Luo’s maneuver.
Previously, no matter how exaggerated Lin Luo’s defenses were, there were always inevitable lapses when he engaged in combat, providing enemies an opening. For instance, during an attack, his defense would relatively weaken. But now, executing this technique allowed Lin Luo to maximize the advantage of equal offense and defense, clearly designed for one against many. No matter the direction of attack, or how many assailants struck, they would meet an equally intense defense, compounded by the truly devastating power of the inextinguishable Destruction Black Flame!
“Good! This is much more interesting!” Lin Luo’s sudden display of might exceeded the Evil King’s expectations, yet instead of fear, she laughed excitedly, intending to counter his destructive force with her complete Chaotic Power.
Though Lin Luo’s technique was terrifying, she knew such an ultimate move could never be sustained for long; the drain on spiritual energy was immense. By ceaselessly draining Lin Luo’s power, she was certain his defense would eventually collapse.
Facing Lin Luo’s pervasive, corrosive cloud of destructive shards, the Dark King opted to evade the direct confrontation. Her thinking mirrored the Evil King’s: the more powerful the move, the more fatal its weakness!
And indeed, their suspicions were correct. While Lin Luo’s opening strike had temporarily shattered the momentum, disrupted the four-person battleground, and pushed them all to different corners—establishing an absolute offensive-defensive posture that prevented further advance—it was, ultimately, a temporary measure.
As quasi-Heavenly Tier powerhouses, the four were not significantly weaker than him. He currently held the advantage only because of the advanced nature of his abilities. Once his power reserves were excessively depleted, that advantage would vanish instantly.
Of course, if he intended to kill them, he still had a chance to achieve mutual destruction, but the core problem was… he hadn't come here to kill, but to stop the fighting.
Though he had momentarily separated them, as soon as he withdrew this ability, they would resume their battle. Moreover, this event would instill caution in them, meaning his surprise attack would be much harder to pull off again... Damn it! If only he had some allies right now… Lin Luo swallowed his bitterness, anxiety mounting in his heart.
“I didn't expect this fellow to become so strong. Even though I predicted this day would come, it’s still astonishing,” Hatsune stared at Lin Luo thousands of meters away, her eyes filled with complexity. Yet, in an instant, she cast that complexity aside… Today, she had only one objective, and she would not compromise on this single task!
A look of determination flashed in her eyes. Hatsune swept her slender hand forward, releasing six luminous orbs that formed a timeline under her power, completely excluding all the destructive sword fragments. Simultaneously, her absolute domain manifested again as she reached out and summoned, “Come forth! My guardian beasts… Rin! Luka!”
In a flash, two young women appeared on the vast stage before them. One was a tall, loli-like figure of fourteen or fifteen, with shoulder-length yellow hair tied with a white bow, holding a microphone—it was Kagamine Rin. The other, appearing to be in her early twenties, tall and striking, with long pink hair, held a whip in both hands, subtly radiating a queenly aura—it was Megurine Luka.
“What the hell!” Seeing these two appear, Lin Luo nearly spat out his words, and the shock nearly caused the Pinnacle Throne to dissipate… Are you kidding me? Rin and Luka were Hatsune’s summoned guardians? Could this get any more absurd?!
Luka seemed displeased with Hatsune’s address. She flicked her whip and snarled at Hatsune, “Bastard! You’re the guardian beast! Your whole family is guardian beasts, your entire race is guardian beasts… Wait! Did I just insult myself?”
“Enough nonsense, hurry up and help me fight! It’s the duty of a guardian beast!” Hatsune ignored Luka’s tirade and commanded sternly.
Rin, somewhat naturally airheaded, didn't understand the situation but was startled by Hatsune’s words. She immediately pulled Hatsune down, crouched on the stage, drawing circles and muttering with resentment, “I’m not a guardian beast… I’m not a guardian beast… Waaah, I’m not a guardian beast…”
Hatsune’s brow furrowed, but she couldn't afford the delay now. She urged them urgently, “You two stop dawdling! On that stage, you are absolutely invincible beings! Hurry up and help me break through that man’s defense network.”
Despite her words, the title 'guardian beast' had deeply wounded Rin’s feelings, and she continued to draw circles on the ground, radiating grievance. Luka glanced in the direction Hatsune pointed, paused momentarily, looking somewhat bewildered, “What’s going on? Why are you fighting that man? Didn't you say he was on your side?”
“Don't ask so many questions now, just go do what I said, and teach that traitorous scum a harsh lesson!” Hatsune felt a major headache coming on. Other people’s guardians were so obedient; why did her guardians have such personalities? Truly frustrating!
Luka eyed Hatsune, then crossed her arms, showcasing her proud figure, and scoffed, “Tch. I’m not helping you. If you want to fight, go do it yourself.”
Luka is magnificent! Luka is supreme!
Before Hatsune could react to those words, Lin Luo was already inwardly ecstatic. Though he didn't know what abilities Rin and Luka possessed, it was a huge relief that they weren't willing to fight him.
“Oh! Why are those two virtual idols out again?”
On the other side, Haruhi, who had been dodging the attacks of Lin Luo’s destructive shards, suddenly brightened upon seeing Rin and Luka. She glanced quickly between Lin Luo and Hatsune, and a brilliant, wicked idea sparked in her mind.
“You two stop throwing a tantrum… Ah, watch out!” Hatsune was midway through patiently reasoning when she saw a figure suddenly appear behind the pair, and her expression changed drastically.
“Huh?” Luka frowned, not understanding what happened, but in the next instant, she felt someone press down on her shoulder, and her consciousness blurred.
Clack! Clack!
Two crisp sounds echoed on the stage. Konno Haruhi stood directly in the center of the stage, holding two framed scrolls, looking triumphantly at Hatsune, “Hahaha, Onion Girl, your two friends are mine now. From now on, you’ll obey me obediently!”
Everyone watched in stunned silence. Kagamine Rin and Megurine Luka were trapped within those two scrolls, as if they were no longer living beings but figures captured within artwork!
“This sort of thing…” Lin Luo’s expression shifted to horror. Even the Evil King and Dark King’s faces changed dramatically upon witnessing this scene.
“It’s you again, you lunatic!” Hatsune was furious that her trump cards had been seized by Haruhi. “Damn it! Release the Queen! Release the Loli right now!”
“Heh heh, I won’t release them.” Haruhi ignored her rage.
“Oh dear, oh dear, truly a vicious character, aren’t you?” At that moment, a languid, feminine voice drifted out, followed by a blonde girl with a parasol emerging from one of the scrolls.
“Konno Haruhi, meeting you is truly less satisfying than hearing about you.”
The girl held the Kagamine Rin, who had just been imprisoned in the scroll, and smiled mockingly at Konno Haruhi.
This girl was… Yakumo Yukari! RO
