Besides herself, there were four other Quasi-Heaven Rank powerhouses on this battlefield. Two of them were Hosts. Her goal was to stop the fight between the Dark King and the Evil King. The thought of Miku and Haruhi siding with her felt as impossible as flying away with them.

Putting aside Kuroiwa’s premonition, given Miku and Haruhi’s lawless approach to everything, Lin Luo felt the possibility of them helping him was infinitesimally close to zero. If they didn't cause trouble, that would already be a blessing. And as it turned out, Miku and Haruhi proved to be quite helpful—they were already starting to cause trouble.

Suddenly, two more Quasi-Heaven Rank powerhouses appeared. The Evil King was probably bewildered, momentarily thrown off balance. But when the Dark King saw Miku charging towards her, her expression suddenly tightened… She recognized this Host. They had a prior encounter where this girl had caused her trouble, which she had evaded using the Starlight Avenue. This time, her appearance was clearly directed at her!

"Come on, Dark King. Let's put a definitive end to our past grievances!" Miku rushed toward the Dark King with lightning speed, thrusting her hand forward. A colossal stage suddenly materialized beneath the Dark King's feet. "Don't worry, I won't take your life—just defeat you thoroughly!" The stage wasn't for singing and dancing; it was for binding. Standing upon it, though she could still see the endless starry sky in every direction, the Dark King was shocked to find she couldn't sense her place in the universe. More terrifyingly, the power within her was slowly draining away!

"This is my absolute domain!" Miku let out a sharp cry, landing gracefully on the stage.

"Who are you?!" the Dark King asked in a deep voice, cautiously observing the girl before her.

Although she had inherited all the abilities of the first Dark King, much of the memory was inaccessible. Thus, she did not know that in the Second War of Gods, Miku had defeated the Dark King and been cast out of the world.

"You don't need to know who I am. As long as you are the Dark King, that's enough!" Miku seemed disinclined to waste words. The moment her voice faded, she lashed out with a kick.

Bang!

"I see." The Dark King caught the attack with one hand, but her mind was clear. This Host before her was just like herself. The person the opponent truly wanted to defeat wasn't her, but someone else. However, since she bore the title of Dark King, this became a shared obsession between them.

"If it comes to a contest of will, I will not lose to anyone!" The Dark King's expression sharpened. She snatched Miku’s ankle with a lightning-fast grab, intending to hurl her away.

"Hmph, touching me directly with your physical body isn't a wise choice." But before the Dark King could act, Miku began to laugh triumphantly, leaping into the air.

At that moment, the Dark King’s face drastically changed. She was stunned to discover that all her immense abilities had inexplicably vanished. She couldn't even move a finger! What was happening?!

Slap!

Miku stomped a foot onto the Dark King’s arm, then brought both hands together, pressing them firmly against the center of her chest. "Everything ends now. Time to miku you... huh?!"

"Xiao Cong! Violating the agreement comes with punishment, have you forgotten?" Just as Miku was gathering strength, an utterly arrogant voice rang out. Simultaneously, with a loud boom, its owner landed on the giant stage—it was Haruhi Suzumiya.

"Dragon Roar!"

The intervention of a third party caused a slight fissure in Miku's absolute domain. The Dark King seized this golden opportunity, letting out a fierce roar. What erupted from her mouth was not a human voice, but the enraged bellow of a Mad Dragon, earth-shattering and immense. Caught off guard, Miku was instinctively blasted away.

Boom!

The moment Miku was sent flying, a hundred-meter-long crimson divine dragon coiled around the Dark King, quickly lifting her out of the stage—it was her Fifth Dragon, the Mad Dragon!

"It's you again, you lunatic! Interfering with me at a moment like this—AARRGGHH!!!" Seeing the Dark King escape her absolute domain, Miku paused for a beat, then flew into a rage. But her fury wasn't directed at the Dark King; it was aimed squarely at Haruhi Suzumiya.

It was one thing to interrupt her during routine times, but to cause such a disruption at such a critical juncture… Unforgivable! She lunged forward immediately, looking as if she intended to tear Haruhi limb from limb.

Haruhi’s capacity for ignoring others was unrivaled, and she even practiced selective ignoring. Miku charged with killing intent, yet Haruhi simply ignored the malice, leaving only Miku present.

"You want to fight me? I was hoping for the same thing," Haruhi immediately ran toward Miku with evident excitement.

On the other side, having escaped the stage, the Dark King couldn't help but break out in a cold sweat. That last moment was a near-death flash. Even with her vast experience, she couldn't fathom why her power had vanished. The only certainty was that… that stage could suppress peers and was extremely dangerous!

But why wasn't the one called Haruhi Suzumiya affected?

The Dark King couldn't figure it out, nor did she have the inclination to dwell on the two Hosts. She glanced at Lin Luo, who remained stationary, then swiftly turned her attention away, riding the Mad Dragon once more toward the Evil King.

"Hmph, utterly useless. You almost lost your life just now!" The Evil King had long since regained her composure and had witnessed the Dark King's peril. She couldn't help but sneer, laced with mockery.

The Dark King ignored the taunt, tacitly acknowledging her momentary lapse of caution. Even if she had taken Miku's initial attack head-on, she was confident she could have preserved her life, but sustaining heavy damage would have been inevitable, meaning she wouldn't have survived the rest of the engagement.

"Enough talk, let’s fight again!"

The sudden appearance of three unexpected Quasi-Heaven Rank powerhouses had frayed the edges of her usual composure. With a cold snort, she immediately launched a fierce assault on the Evil King.

The battle between the Evil King and the Dark King was earth-shattering and immense in scale. Meanwhile, the fight between Miku and Haruhi appeared profoundly bizarre. Their attacks seemed confined to close-quarters combat, indistinguishable from ordinary human grappling. Yet, in Lin Luo's eyes, these exchanges were filled with mysteries even he couldn't fully decipher.

Lin Luo remained rooted to the spot, carefully observing both battles. Although his role was merely mediation, under the current circumstances, if he failed to persuade them correctly, all four individuals around him could become his enemies. Facing four opponents simultaneously—even he couldn't manage that. To prevent any sudden disasters, he needed to first grasp the detailed abilities of the four; after all, they wouldn't die immediately.

As he watched, he gleaned two key points: First, Miku’s stage was terrifying and should never be stepped upon casually. Second, Haruhi must absolutely not be allowed to become interested in him, or she would cling to him like stubborn plaster, impossible to shake off!

"Damn it, you lunatic…" On the stage, Miku hadn't gained any advantage in her fight with Haruhi, but by now, she had calmed down. This Host who was her near-equal in strength was a complete maniac. Reasoning with her was pointless, and fighting her only made her happier, yet she could never be driven away. Miku decided there was no need to waste time on her.

"I've lost interest in playing with you. Don't interfere with me again!"

With that thought, Miku waved her snowy white arm, and the entire stage suddenly flipped over. Haruhi, caught completely off guard, tumbled off the stage. Miku used the opportunity to launch her attack toward the Dark King once more.

"Xiao Cong! Are you running away again?" Haruhi wasn't surprised at being thrown off the stage, only angered by Miku's apparent "cowardice." But when she saw the giant stage sweeping toward the Dark King, she suddenly seemed to understand, her eyes lighting up. "Ah, you want to defeat her first? Fine, I'll help you take her down, and then we can play again!"

Hearing this, not only did Miku nearly choke with frustration, but even Lin Luo felt that the Commander’s intelligence level wasn't much higher than Cirno’s. When it came to the art of relentless pestering, if she ranked second, no one would dare claim first.

In this increasingly chaotic battlefield, to ward off greater unforeseen events, the Dark King and the Evil King recalled their externally manifested "equipment." One commanded the Mad Dragon, the other wielded the cosmic map, engaging in a fierce duel. Just then, the Dark King sensed a heart-pounding aura descending from above. A quick glance confirmed it was that terrifying stage.

Bad!

The Dark King knew she absolutely could not be bound by that stage, or the consequences would be disastrous. Without hesitation, the Mirror Dragon, one of the Eight Heavenly Dragons, reappeared, forcefully repelling the stage.

"What a beautiful dragon! Catch it!" Haruhi, who was flying toward them, suddenly lit up. As her words left her mouth, a pair of massive hands appeared from the void, forcefully grabbing the Mirror Dragon!

Even as the Mirror Dragon struggled desperately, it could not break free.

Without the Mirror Dragon’s defense, Miku’s stage advanced like a hot knife through butter, thundering down upon the Dark King.

"You people…" Seeing this turn of events, the Dark King was truly enraged. Her delicate features contorted in fury, her silver teeth clenched, and she swept her hand across the void, producing a screeching metallic whine.

"Don't you dare interfere with me!"

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

In an instant, all Eight Heavenly Dragons emerged.

The Yellow Dragon burst through the void, smashing Miku’s stage away.

The Black Dragon coiled and stood firm, binding Miku’s body, intent on crushing her.

The Violet-Gold Divine Dragon radiated infinite purple light, dissolving the giant hands and freeing the Mirror Dragon.

The Sixth Heavenly Dragon, the Green Dragon, spat out Heaven-Burning Green Flames, surging toward Haruhi Suzumiya.

"AAAAHHHH!"

The Dark King was completely incensed, unleashing the Eight Heavenly Dragons. The void changed color, and the universe trembled!
