The Fatty pointed at the footsteps of the Yin-Yang Woman, as if he had stumbled upon some earth-shattering secret.

He looked toward the woman’s feet but detected nothing out of the ordinary, asking with a touch of confusion, "What is it, Fatty? What did you find?"

The Fatty said, "Look at that ear-shaped mole on her foot. Why is it gone now?"

Lu Zong looked over and indeed found that the mole on the woman's foot had vanished; her smooth, graceful little foot was bare. A slight smile touched his lips as he remarked, "Perhaps the artist simply forgot to paint it on. After all, it was such an insignificant little birthmark, hardly worth making such a fuss over."

But the Fatty disagreed vehemently. "Look at the previous paintings—they were so detailed that even the impression of her footprint had an ear shape. Why is such an obvious mole missing now? Doesn't that imply something?"

Lu Zong looked at the Fatty, caught between amusement and frustration. He hadn't realized the Fatty was such a stickler for detail; he’d certainly underestimated him before. Laughing lightly, he coaxed, "And what does that imply? Tell us, then."

The Fatty declared, "It implies that the ear-shaped thing on her foot was never a birthmark at all, but a weapon."

"A weapon?" The others laughed even harder. "A weapon? An ear used as a weapon? Ha! You’re hilarious."

Yet, the Fatty maintained his grim expression. He stated, {"Look here, look at her hand." The Fatty pointed to the woman's hand. She was currently clutching the ear-shaped object like a weapon. "See? Isn't the ear-weapon in this woman's hand the very thing that was on her foot?"}

Once he pointed it out, the others saw that there was indeed something to it. From Lu Zong's perspective, the hand holding the ear-weapon was extended toward her sole, looking as if she were about to recall the weapon. If it was meant to be placed back on her foot, it suggested that the mole was precisely the weapon she used for combat—the Moonlight Treasure Box capable of transporting people through the tunnel of time.

The realization sent a cold sweat drenching him. Does this mean the mole on that desiccated corpse's foot was the Moonlight Treasure Box all along? And the one on their Loulan beauty's foot was also the Moonlight Treasure Box?

He glanced at the other three; their mouths hung open in stunned silence. If that was truly the Moonlight Treasure Box, the consequences of it falling into the wrong hands and summoning the deceased back would be unimaginable...

Lu Zong shook his head. What was he thinking? How could such thoughts arise? Back to the original point: how could an item capable of time travel possibly exist in this world? It defied all scientific principles.

He dared not dwell on it further and forced himself to look at the next painting.

The following panel depicted Zhang Qian's triumphant victory over the Yin-Yang Woman's tribe. They subsequently embarked on campaigns of conquest, winning every battle, consolidating his power, and establishing his rule.

If that were the case, then Zhang Qian must have lived out his days in glory and wealth here with the Yin-Yang Woman. However, according to the Records of the Grand Historian (Shi Ji), Zhang Qian returned to the imperial court bearing greetings and peace from the various tribes. So, who was the Zhang Qian who went back?

He wanted to continue viewing the murals, but there were no more below this one—only the cold, desolate stretch of the passageway wall remained.

Could the Zhang Qian who returned have been summoned from the tunnel of time, the original Zhang Qian at that age? Had Zhang Qian split into two people?

The more he thought, the more absurd it seemed, so he forced himself to stop. Though no one voiced these thoughts, everyone present understood the gravity of the implication. Voicing it would only chill them further, so silence reigned as they prepared to move on in search of the concealed shaft. Whether the visions on the murals were true or not, only further investigation could reveal the answer. The only thing they knew for certain about this tomb was: "This is very likely the joint tomb of the Yin-Yang Woman and Zhang Qian."

They had stopped moving, but their bodies remained before the murals, indicating that the corridor had ceased rotating. They had no idea what rule governed its movement. However, its stillness was beneficial, making it easier to locate the hidden shaft. The four followed the corridor, searching for the exact spot of the entrance.

Soon, the Fatty discovered the concealed shaft. It was still located not far from the deep pit, suggesting that the corridor's rotation and stops were not entirely random; their stopping point seemed to correspond to the original location.

The Fatty was the first to slip into the opening. Finding nothing immediately amiss, he boldly squeezed through and motioned for Ma Xiong, Lu Zong, and Gan Da to follow. Once the four were back inside the passage, they felt an uncanny sense of returning home. Ma Xiong exclaimed with agitation, "Why do I feel such familiarity? Are we destined to die here?"

Lu Zong said, "Since the corridor isn't moving now, let’s hurry to the other side. If there’s no deep pit over there, we must quickly reach the very front of the corridor—that's surely where the entrance to the main chamber lies."

The mention of entering the main chamber, the heart of the tomb holding countless treasures, ignited feverish excitement in everyone. They redoubled their efforts and pushed toward the far end of the passage. After struggling through the opening, they were relieved to find the corridor still stationary. The Fatty selected a sizable stone from within the shaft and tossed it onto the floor with a thud. The floor returned a dull, heavy sound, confirming the sub-structure was solid and not merely paved with loose stones. Feeling reassured, he stepped down onto the floor.

Seeing the Fatty venture forward, the other three relaxed considerably, letting out deep sighs before following him down.

They shouldn't linger here; it would be disastrous if the corridor suddenly began to turn again. The Fatty picked up the stone and tossed it every ten paces, testing the ground ahead to ensure it was firm before daring to proceed.

Though this method was cautious, it drastically slowed their progress. However, for the sake of their lives, they patiently adhered to the procedure.

Finally, after a long time, they reached the very front of the corridor. Lu Zong excitedly announced, "We are one step closer to hope now. Everyone, search quickly for any mechanisms or cracks—if we find something, we've found the door to the main burial chamber!"

With that, he took the lead and began frantically searching, and the other three quickly joined in. They felt around every surface, every corner, terrified that missing one spot might cost them their lives.

Despite their meticulous searching, they found absolutely nothing unusual. The wall appeared utterly sealed, its surface smooth and even, betraying no hint of entry. They racked their brains but found nothing out of the ordinary, leaving them to rue their efforts in private.

Just as they were beginning to despair, a low moan suddenly emanated from within the wall. A jolt ran through them, and they simultaneously turned to face the structure.
