Nie Kong had been sealed within his own mountain peak Dharma Form, his soul completely solidified, his consciousness brought to a standstill. While the current Nie Kong was not truly dead, he was no different from a corpse.

The newly awakened "Chaos Immortal Spirit," lacking even the strength of a Grand Venerable, could be accommodated within the soul of a living Nie Kong, but it could not remain indefinitely within the current Nie Kong’s body.

The reason was simple: the "Chaos Immortal Spirit" had just stirred from ten thousand years of slumber, its soul unstable. The seal within Nie Kong’s soul would cause immense disturbance to it.

Internally, there was no suitable environment for attachment; externally, terrifying power compressed it…

Logically, the "Chaos Immortal Spirit," its soul a clean slate, should have reacted instinctively, fleeing Nie Kong’s body to escape through the designated safe passage he had prepared.

Of course, true escape was impossible.

Once it emerged from the Chaos, that safe channel would be sealed shut.

"There must be some miscalculation…"

The towering peak settled, wisps of aura clinging around the mass of Chaos. Chongxu sensed meticulously, yet never allowed his soul or spiritual sense to penetrate the core. Pangu’s past mistake served as a lesson, compelling Chongxu toward the utmost caution; after all, he had ample time…

Within the Chaos.

Vague and ethereal, Nie Kong perceived that he was not truly sinking, but rather transforming into boundless nothingness.

"Where is this…"

Nie Kong’s nearly solidified consciousness trembled slightly. Merely thinking these few words seemed to span epochs stretching over eons.

In this void floated countless twinkling specks of white light.

These white points drifted and stretched within the nothingness. As time flowed silently by, these specks grew into threads, some fine, some thick.

"Chaos Immortal Qi…"

These words flashed across his mind again, and Nie Kong felt the speed of his consciousness's operation quicken just a fraction.

Through endless wandering, those fine threads of "Chaos Immortal Qi" gradually drew nearer, finally coalescing into a large, shimmering white mass.

Another countless span of years passed, and this mass of "Chaos Immortal Qi" became increasingly vital.

"Yiya!"

Suddenly, one day, a crisp sound echoed through the void.

Immediately following, a plump, milky-white infant wriggled out from within that mass of Immortal Qi. Its bright, dark eyes darted constantly left and right, seeming profoundly curious about everything surrounding it.

"Chaos Immortal Spirit!"

Upon seeing the infant, Nie Kong was deeply shaken, and the rotation of his consciousness involuntarily accelerated once more.

The little fellow drifted aimlessly through the void…

After an indeterminate amount of time, the small being seemed to cross a spatial barrier, and a colossal landmass appeared in its sight. Mountains, rivers, lakes, oceans, flora, fauna… Everything ignited the infant's intense curiosity.

Once the initial interest waned, the little one grew more bored, eventually floating in mid-air and falling fast asleep.

The moment he awoke from his deep slumber, his soul floated out from the chubby little body, reconstructing an entirely transparent form.

The power contained within this new body had grown immeasurably.

"Is this how he reached the Grand Supreme realm?" Nie Kong’s consciousness spun faster, an almost unimaginable emotion surfacing in his thoughts.

The little one’s curiosity was swiftly rekindled. He discovered that after his nap, entirely new species—humans—had appeared upon the landmass.

He began observing the words and actions of humanity, learning with keen interest.

When he had mastered everything, the bored little one suddenly noticed someone constructing a simple thatch hut. Acting on a whim, he decided to build a dwelling for himself as well.

"That is the Primordial Beginning Palace!" Nie Kong’s thought moved swiftly.

After the Primordial Beginning Palace was completed, the little one apparently felt it too small. Using the palace as an anchor, he carved out a vast layer of space within, a realm filled with rolling yellow sands.

"Primordial Beginning Grotto-Heaven…"

Just as this thought formed, Nie Kong observed the little one opening a second layer of space, and then a third, a fourth, a fifth…

He only stopped after carving out the sixth chamber, dragging his only possession—the discarded, previous Chaos body—inside.

After completing the "Primordial Beginning Grotto-Heaven," the little one could not stop. He pierced the spatial barriers of the continent and solidified the void where he was born into a vase-shaped, independent space.

That was the "Void Secret Realm."

Subsequently, he divided the massive landmass into two sections: the Grand Supreme Spirit Realm and the Phantom Spirit Continent.

The little one became engrossed in the joy of creation, his spirits soaring, evolving all manner of divine and spiritual elements upon these two lands…

Discovering that the humans on the two continents were beginning to cultivate using the things he had created, the little one was even less willing to cease. His expenditure of power grew ever greater.

Finally, one day, the little one grew so weak that he sank into a deep sleep. He only awoke when a beautiful woman inadvertently stumbled into the "Primordial Beginning Grotto-Heaven."

"That is Grand Venerable Bamboo Sound."

The woman’s appearance immediately brought Xian Zhuyin to Nie Kong’s mind.

Seeing such an adorable child, Xian Zhuyin’s maternal instincts surged forth, and she cared for him across the six layers of the Grotto-Heaven as if she were his mother. When Xian Zhuyin finally departed, the little one happily followed her out. In the outside world, he met Pangu, and he met Chongxu.

But the turning point came swiftly.

Chongxu attacked with a smiling strike, severely wounding the little one. Although his strength had fallen to the peak of the Spirit God realm, he still transformed into void and fled to Xian Zhuyin’s side. Chongxu pursued, engaging Xian Zhuyin in a fierce battle. Yet, at that very moment, Pangu unexpectedly struck at Xian Zhuyin.

During the intense fighting, the little one became separated from Xian Zhuyin.

His injuries worsened increasingly; to allow the equally wounded Xian Zhuyin to escape, the little one instinctively fled in the opposite direction, finally arriving in the western part of the Phantom Spirit Continent, the region that had suffered the most destruction. It was there that he had previously carved out a massive space on a whim.

Integrating the "Void Secret Realm" into the void, and using the last remnants of his power to seal his own soul, the little one sought to sever Chongxu and Pangu’s tracking and fell back into slumber once more.

"So his soul, consciousness, and memories were not utterly dissipated as Grand Venerable Bamboo Sound claimed, but sealed away by himself," Nie Kong's consciousness grew increasingly active.

In his deep sleep, the little one’s body dissolved into nothingness.

Then, that void gradually generated "Chaos Immortal Qi." The "Chaos Immortal Qi" birthed new sentience, coalescing a new soul, a new body…

Another cycle began.

Ten thousand years later, the slumbering little one sensed a familiar aura, and the speed at which his soul spawned consciousness accelerated, ultimately waking him prematurely.

Immediately after, a young figure entered his view.

"That is me."

Nie Kong felt a profound emotion.

Next, Nie Kong watched himself pat the little one’s rear and absorb him into his own body; he saw Pangu fall for the trap, his soul being gnawed by the little one; he saw Pangu’s soul dissipate while the little one sat in the "Purple Luo Space," weeping heartbrokenly; he saw the Purple Luo Space shatter, and his own soul freeze.

He then witnessed the little one suddenly stop crying, shout loudly, and rush toward him.

"Mother!"

The little one’s body exploded into countless sparkling white motes, merging into his own soul, and the sealed memories within burst forth like a collapsing torrent of water…
