After receiving the notice for the second feature recommendation a few days ago, I was extremely excited.

To be honest, while writing this book, I never imagined The Medicine King would get a second feature recommendation.

I am deeply grateful to the Qidian platform, my editor Jelly MM, all the editors at Qidian, and every friend who has supported The Medicine King.

By my count, it has been almost exactly one year since The Medicine King was first launched.

Due to unforeseen circumstances in late May, early June, and early July, I had to pause updates for about a week twice, which severely damaged my credibility.

After resuming a steady update schedule, I deliberately slowed the pace of the online version to keep up with the speed of the physical book release.

As a result, The Medicine King's digital word count is currently only a little over 1.8 million.

I must apologize to everyone here, especially those who have subscribed.

I estimate The Medicine King will conclude at around three million characters, spanning nineteen volumes in total.

We are currently just hitting Volume Thirteen, but Volumes Fourteen and Fifteen are already complete, and Volume Sixteen is more than half finished.

It should be finalized by the end of January at the latest, so there is absolutely no need to worry about update interruptions anymore.

Initially, I planned to resume three updates a day starting in January, but now I am moving that plan forward and increasing the update speed starting this month.

On the 1st of this month, I managed five updates; on the 2nd, I delivered ten updates; and the 3rd will also see five updates.

After the 3rd...

I will temporarily maintain a baseline of two updates per day, but I plan to add bonus chapters intermittently.
