To be frank, Lin Luo had begun to suspect this back in the Zero-Consumption World. A stone powerful enough to obliterate the Earth—in his memory, only the Seed of the Holy Stone fit that description. Furthermore, the Seed of the Holy Stone was known to have journeyed to other worlds. However, the fact that the complete Gansai Stone itself was the Seed of the Holy Stone was something he couldn't quite grasp, so he dared not jump to conclusions.

But now, hearing Long Wanxuan say it, there was no doubt: this stone was the Seed of the Holy Stone… It was truly unbelievable. The Seed of the Holy Stone was so restless, not only wreaking havoc in the WW World but also not sparing the Zero-Consumption World. That said, the Gansai Stone had existed in the Zero-Consumption World for thousands of years; perhaps the Seed of the Holy Stone wasn't confined to just one plane to begin with.

Perhaps this one was merely drawn by the Gansai Stone, or perhaps it was because of the Walkers’ arrival…

Lin Luo couldn't quite piece it together, but one thing he was certain of: this Seed of the Holy Stone absolutely could not be casually discarded. Its power was extremely volatile, hovering on the verge of eruption, like a volcano about to blow. Just the slightest disturbance could invite terrifying disaster.

Knowing this stone was the Seed of the Holy Stone, Long Wanxuan and the others dared not linger. After exchanging a few words with Lin Luo, they departed in haste.

Lin Luo understood their attitude. After all, the Seed of the Holy Stone was the executioner that destroyed their homeland; no one would have the courage to face it directly.

"How do you plan to handle this stone?" Once they left, Evangeline immediately asked. "Since its power is so dangerous, it's not suitable to carry around."

"But it’s also not suitable to leave in this world," Rin added. "It possesses the power to destroy worlds. Who knows if it might just blow this world up."

Mikoto nodded, then shook her head. "You're right, but there's no other option besides here. We can’t just find some random world to dump it in, can we?"

"It seems this thing is quite the bother," the girls voiced their opinions. Though their views varied slightly, a palpable sense of apprehension regarding the Seed of the Holy Stone leaked from their tones.

"Actually, there's no need to worry too much," Lin Luo couldn't help but smile as he listened to their discussion. "While the power of the Seed of the Holy Stone is indeed very dangerous, it won't react violently unless I directly touch it. And right now, it’s safely placed within a vacuum container, unaffected by other energies, so there’s basically minimal danger. Otherwise, I wouldn't have taken it out in front of you all."

"That does make sense," the girls looked at the Seed of the Holy Stone for a moment, nodding slightly. The fluctuations in its power had indeed become faint, rendering it temporarily harmless.

"So, you plan to keep this stone with you?" Sakuya inquired.

"Mhm, I think it might be very important to me." Lin Luo nodded. The Seed of the Holy Stone exhibited severe repulsion towards Walkers; this was obvious. After all, in the world of Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha, while the Seed of the Holy Stone was also described as an ancient object of terrifying might, ordinary people touching it didn't pose an apocalyptic threat.

For him, the Seed of the Holy Stone was a ticking time bomb. It should be the same for other Walkers. If, by chance, they ran into an Anking or an Evil King, having this stone could make those powerful foes hesitant to act rashly.

Regarding Lin Luo's decision, Sakuya felt a slight unease but didn't say much more. The Seed of the Holy Stone was terrifying, but Gensokyo possessed entities no weaker than it. Even if something truly catastrophic were to erupt, at most, it would result in just another Incident.

After retrieving the Seed of the Holy Stone into the storage space, this event was temporarily concluded. Yomiko and Kagura had not fully recovered from the strain of purifying the world earlier. Under Lin Luo's orders, the maids led them into the main hall; there were plenty of empty rooms available, and they could settle into any one they chose.

The others returned to their respective 'posts.' With the Anking and Evil King looming as massive threats, they dared not become complacent. They all felt the need to rapidly enhance their strength so that if they truly encountered those two formidable enemies in the future, they wouldn't be completely defenseless.

However, a few people were asked to stay behind by Lin Luo: Tōsaka Rin, Nero, Lily, Saber Alter, and…

"Why keep us here? Is something the matter?" Big Sister Rin asked first, her gaze full of confusion, as the five of them hailed from the same world, yet their world had little to do with this incident.

"Mhm, there is indeed something," Lin Luo nodded, extending his hand forward. Instantly, a golden light emanated from his body. A moment later, an object shimmering with supreme golden brilliance appeared in his palm—it was the Heart of the King.

"This is…" Big Sister Rin was momentarily stunned, a dawning understanding in her mind.

"Correct. This is the Heart of the World, and specifically, the Heart of the King."

"Heart of the King." Rin hadn't reacted much to these four words, but Lily, Nero, and Saber Alter’s eyes instantly lit up. As for Saber Alter, she remained placid.

"Are you planning to choose a host from among them?" Rin frowned, asking. She wasn't opposed, but the several Kings beside her were Heroic Spirits. Could a Heroic Spirit also become a host? That seemed questionable.

"I believe it should be possible," Lin Luo smiled. "The Heart of the World doesn't discriminate based on possessing a human body. Suigintou is a puppet yet possesses a Heart of the World; that explains everything."

"Then, who are you planning to give it to?"

When Rin asked this, the three, excluding Saber Alter, all turned their gazes toward Lin Luo. If it were a Heart of the World from another source, they might not care, but the Heart of the King… they couldn't ignore it.

"I’ve thought this through," Lin Luo said. "I feel that besides you all, there’s no one else in this Sky City capable of merging with this Heart of the World. But I won't conclude who gets it just yet. I will let your compatibility speak for itself—whoever has the highest compatibility gets it. How about it, does anyone object?" Lin Luo looked at the four Sabers and asked.

The four exchanged glances. Only Saber Alter seemed unconcerned. In the eyes of the other three, a faint trace of fighting spirit flickered before they all looked back at Lin Luo. "It's settled then."

Lin Luo smiled faintly, then turned to Rin. "Rin, what about you?"

"Eh? What does this have to do with me?" Big Sister Rin looked bewildered.

"Lily is your Servant, after all. If she happens to be chosen by the Heart of the World, she won't be able to be your Servant anymore. So, of course, this concerns you," Lin Luo stated as a matter of course.

"Ah, I see." Rin realized the truth. Lily had a high chance, as she was the Perfect King, after all. She glanced towards Lily, noticing the girl was looking back at her, and waved slightly. "Let compatibility decide."

"Rin, thank you," Lily expressed a hint of gratitude in her eyes. She didn't particularly care whether she became the host or not; the life she had now already made her happy. But when it came to the Way of Kings, she didn't want to lose to anyone.

"Hmph, it’s too early to thank anyone," Nero interjected unhappily. On the Way of Kings, she also didn't want to lose, nor did she believe she would.

"Exactly, exactly! I am the true King!" Nero, fluttering in mid-air, chimed in to egg them on.

Seeing their high spirits filled with fighting intent, Lin Luo couldn't help but chuckle. "Then, who shall go first?"

"I will," the first to step forward was the previously silent Saber Alter, her expression blank as she gazed at Lin Luo. The other three frowned slightly but offered no obstruction. If it were the genuine Knight King, they might have been somewhat wary, but as the Dark King separated from the genuine Knight King by the Black Holy Grail, she would surely lag behind in the Way of Kings.

"Alright." Lin Luo nodded. Due to his previous lack of understanding regarding Divine Battles, he had no control methods for the fusion of the Heart of the World. But now, he had mastered at least the most basic testing method.

While having the Xiandian within his body continue to draw the Heart of the King, he moved the Heart of the King towards Saber Alter. When the distance between them was less than ten centimeters, a notification sounded: "Current object's compatibility with the Heart of the King has reached 90. All conditions are met. Permitted to become the second host of the Heart of the King. Fuse?"

"No." Lin Luo immediately retrieved the Heart of the King. Ninety percent was already quite high, but this was merely a test for now.

The test concluded, and Saber Alter stepped back to her position before immediately rushing forward, waving her small hand excitedly. "Me! Me next!"

Lin Luo followed the same procedure. The result was the same as Saber Alter's: 90. This caused her to pout, clearly unsatisfied, as she had been very confident in herself.

"Haha, only that little? Neither of you can truly be Kings," Nero burst into gleeful laughter, seeing Saber Alter's crestfallen expression. She then walked up to Lin Luo, declaring confidently, "I will surely surpass them!"

Lin Luo let out an awkward laugh, unsure of what to say, though he inwardly agreed that Nero's compatibility would likely be very high, given her absolute Imperial Circle. The result proved him right. As the Heart of the King approached Nero, the notification chimed: "Current object's compatibility with the Heart of the King has reached 98. All conditions are met, and surpasses the first host. Fuse?"

Lin Luo was momentarily moved. Nero was indeed remarkable. None of the previous hosts who contracted with him had achieved such a high compatibility score before their initial contract.

"Hahaha!" Nero roared with laughter, her face filled with arrogance. "I am the peerless Emperor!" She was now certain that this Heart of the King belonged to her. If she surpassed the original host, what reason did she have to lose to anyone else?

But just then, a cool, indifferent voice sounded from beside her: "King of Rome, are you satisfied with just this level of compatibility?"
