Jiang Yuxuan once recounted a tale: Deep within the far northern deserts, there lies a place known as the White Dragon Mound. Beneath its sands, dragon flesh is said to be buried, discoverable merely by digging a few feet down. This dragon meat is free for the taking, yet a stricture applies: one must never utter the word "dragon" while consuming it. Once, a foolish man, unaware of the taboo, began to speak, saying, "This is dragon meat." Before the word was finished, he was instantly cleaved by a bolt of lightning.

Jiang Yuxuan himself claimed to have once tasted this very flesh. He described it as having an excellent flavor, quite chewy—though whether this was truth or boast, no one could truly know.
