I'm really frustrated hearing people say my updates are insufficient, especially when I only put out one or two chapters a day. You honest readers should know exactly how much content I actually produce daily - while there have been occasional days below ten thousand words, the average this month has exceeded ten thousand words every single day. In the vi three-day update rankings I've never dropped off the top fifty among over a thousand titles. Do you even understand what that ranking position means mathematically?

More chapters don't necessarily mean more content - some authors post four or five chapters that still amount to less than ten thousand words, while my daily output typically allows me to split into at least three chapters: one chapter with 10k words, another with 9k, yet another with 8k. These are standard figures in the industry. When you say my updates aren't strong enough, does that mean I should break a ten-thousand-word day into ten separate chapters?

Pirate sites never display word counts per chapter, and some readers only check those sites entirely ignoring content quality. They fixate on chapter numbers while completely missing these might be multiples larger than other chapters' word counts. Claiming updates are insufficient solely based on chapter quantity makes me both frustrated and furious - it's essentially an intentional cover-up of others' hard work.

I've experienced this before when reading D-Dance's works, and now I finally understand his feelings back then. To put it plainly: if you have the means, please support; for those truly struggling financially, I won't stop you from reading pirated copies. Mutual understanding should suffice between us. But before making comments about insufficient updates, please first check my daily word count on platforms. If you genuinely believe 10k words a day is inadequate, go ahead and comment - that would actually make me very happy as it shows many readers are eagerly anticipating the content.

What truly irritates me is when people insist I'm producing too little based only on chapter numbers while ignoring actual word counts, claiming my one or two chapters of 10k words compare unfavorably against others' three to four chapters with 8-9k words each. This blatant dismissal of labor is absolutely unacceptable!

I've always despised being wrongfully accused. When I was in middle school and someone falsely claimed I stole their belongings, I immediately grabbed a slingshot and fired it directly at his head - if my aim had been better he'd now be blind in one eye! While my temperament has mellowed with age, these accusations still ruin my day completely.

Therefore I implore you all: please evaluate objectively whether my updates are indeed insufficient before making any statements!

...

Lin Luo felt an eerie pattern emerging. The first time he'd just received a small gift from Asakura when Shizuka and Negi suddenly barged in to interrupt him. Another time during an intimate moment with Mononoke, Shizuka burst through the door again with that signature cross-legged "butterfly kick". Now after finally finding rare alone time with Evangeline, these troublemakers appeared once more! When had his fortunes turned so disastrous?

Didn't they understand the concept of "once this opportunity passes it's gone forever"? Did these ghostly apparitions need to be so punctual? So melodramatic? So determined to ruin every romantic encounter?!

Lin Luo seethed with anger, though a matching dose of embarrassment accompanied it. After all, he was at least a teacher right now engaged in an age-inappropriate activity with his female student - who appeared barely twelve years old. The more humiliating aspect? Their current position: Evangeline's legs were clamped tightly around his waist while her petite frame was pinned beneath him. Her small hands flailed violently with tear-streaked cheeks as she resisted fiercely.

This was textbook "forceful abduction" - and the victim was a minor! Legally he could face imprisonment, online he'd be lynched by netizens, among otaku circles he'd drown in vitriol!

Lin Luo's embarrassment was matched only by Evangeline's stunned silence. Even her bold nature couldn't maintain composure at this moment. Asakura and Negi were even more unprepared - what kind of explosive scene had they just barged into? Their faces flushed crimson instantly.

Tea-cha and Tea-ze remained slightly calmer due to their unique "emotional systems" though comparatively speaking, they too appeared utterly shocked.

"Lin... Lin-sensei," Negi finally stuttered after regaining consciousness, eyes tightly shut as he pointed trembling fingers at the scene. "You can't do this! You need to release Evangeline-san immediately!"

"You're a monster of a teacher!" Asakura was more direct, brandishing her Exorcism Sword while shouting curses and charging toward Lin Luo.

With two fingers, Lin Luo caught the sword mid-swing then straightened up from Evangeline. Coughing delicately he said, "Well now, you all know there's such a thing as misunderstanding right? What you see with your eyes isn't always reality - use that imaginative power of yours instead of being deceived by appearances."

"What kind of misunderstanding?! You're clearly bullying Evangeline-san!" Asakura bellowed while the others nodded instinctively.

Lin Luo admitted they weren't buying his explanation at all...

"In truth," he began, "Evangeline is a vampire who needs my blood for some reason. I was just defending myself when you three barged in." He lied smoothly without a trace of guilt on his face. "Whether or not you believe me doesn't matter - I certainly do."

Leaning forward toward Evangeline with a smile, he added, "Right? You agree with this explanation, Evangeline-san?"

"Go to hell!" she gritted through her teeth, though as the true ancestor of vampires she knew better than let these people think she was nearly force-fed. With theatrical cooperation she snorted coldly and then drove both fangs into Lin Luo's arm.

"There we go," Lin Luo gestured toward the others with a shrug. "Now you've seen the truth."

Negi and Asakura exchanged glances, speechless.

"Fine, let's not dwell on this," Lin Luo changed topics. "Why are the two of you here anyway? It's still vacation season so no need to rush Evangeline back to school - especially both of you together?"

Evangeline already despised classes and skipping was routine enough. With Negi as her homeroom teacher, attending even one or two daily lessons counted as a miracle in itself. While Lin Luo didn't care much about this, Negi refused to let it slide and frequently conducted home visits.

"No," Negi shook his head earnestly, "this isn't about school at all! I came here specifically for you, Lin-sensei!"

"For me?" Lin Luo blinked.

"Exactly!" Negi's expression turned serious. "After the recent field trip incident I realized my abilities are severely lacking - I want to become stronger and must learn how to protect what matters most. Please accept me as your apprentice and teach me magic!" He dropped to one knee immediately, the well-mannered mage showing no hesitation in proper discipleship etiquette.

"This..." Lin Luo scratched his head awkwardly.

"Sensei," Asakura interjected helpfully, "why don't you just agree? Negi really is sincere."

Of course I know he's sincere - but that's not the problem. Lin Luo groaned mentally. Originally Negi was supposed to apprentice under Evangeline herself, though she hadn't intervened this time. His battle with Fate had likely inspired this desire too.

Evangeline remained focused on her bloodsucking since the beginning, only looking up now with a sly grin. "I say go for it - you're obviously bored anyway. Training this little brat might be entertaining."

"Ah! Evangeline-san!" Negi's face lit up instantly. After learning she was the vampire ancestor, he'd specially inquired from Long and discovered her presence at Mahora was due to an ancestral curse by his father Nagi. Expecting resistance but receiving support instead left him completely surprised.

"I'm so grateful! You're such a kind person Evangeline-san!"

"Yes indeed," Asakura chimed in, "even as a vampire she's still a good girl."

Both Negi and Asakura handed Evangeline metaphorical "Good Person Cards" in succession.

"Hmph," Evangeline snorted dismissively. "Don't misunderstand - I'm certainly no angel. I'm the most sinister mage around with an ancestral feud against your father to boot. Helping you is purely for entertainment's sake, and because tormenting his son sounds amusing."

Everyone fell silent once more.

Lin Luo hesitated before saying, "Well technically there's nothing stopping me from accepting apprenticeship... though my magic system differs somewhat from yours. My combat methods might not be suitable for you either since I've never taught anyone before."

"That doesn't matter!" Negi perked up at the prospect. "After seeing your battle in Kyoto I decided to learn fighting techniques directly from you - and I'm convinced someone as powerful as Lin-sensei will make an excellent master!"

"Ah, now this is making me uncomfortable," Lin Luo chuckled while standing up.

"W-Wait! Don't take your arm away!" Evangeline glared at him before yanking his limb back to her mouth with renewed vigor.

Negi and Asakura broke into cold sweats - their classmate was definitely a vampire, an insatiable one at that given she'd already been feeding for several minutes now.

"Lin-sensei," Asakura worriedly asked, "won't you be alright?"

"Don't worry," Lin Luo waved it off. "My blood supply is practically infinite these days - even if she drains me all day I wouldn't miss a drop." Besides, the process was actually quite pleasant with his blood regeneration ability.

"That's... reassuring."

"Negi," Lin Luo suddenly turned serious, "since you're so determined to learn, refusing now would be inconsiderate. However my combat methods may not suit you perfectly and I can't promise any specific results either. My approach is purely hands-on training - expect intense sessions that might leave you injured or even half-dead."

"Please accept me as your apprentice!" Negi declared before Lin Luo could finish.

"Hmph," Lin Luo smiled at the resolve in his eyes. Turning to Evangeline he added, "Though I was already considering this, now seems like perfect timing. Evangeline - lend me that Time Castle of yours."

"Eh?" Evangeline blinked up from her blood feast. "How do you know about my Time Castle?"

"I know everything there is to know about you." Lin Luo smirked mysteriously.

"Hmph!" she scoffed but still rose from her throne, heading toward the basement with Tea-cha and Tea-ze in tow.

"You two come along too," Lin Luo instructed before following them.

"B-but what is a Time Castle?" Negi and Asakura exchanged confused glances as they followed. The relationship between their teacher and the vampire ancestor was already suspicious enough - one was a magical powerhouse while the other was pureblood royalty, there had to be something more...

"Never mind now," Negi sighed before entering. "Let's just see what it is."

Inside a basement room stood a circular glass container housing a miniature tower model. As Evangeline activated it, everyone present felt themselves drawn into the structure. When they next opened their eyes, they stood on an expansive circular dais with a massive five-pointed magical array beneath them - before them stretched a long bridge without handrails leading to the exact same tower they'd seen outside, though now its scale was revealed in full glory.

"This is my former villa," Evangeline explained while walking forward. "It's been unused for ages but fair warning - once you enter here it'll take at least one day before leaving."

"A whole day?!" Asakura gasped.

"Actually," Lin Luo interjected, "it works similarly to that famous Japanese legend about Urashima Taro and the Dragon Palace - time inside is compressed. Spending a full day here only equates to one hour outside."

"Ohhh," Asakura's eyes widened in realization before adding, "But you're amazing Evangeline! Creating something so extreme!"

"Of course I am," she smirked smugly.

"This must be a form of time magic," Lin Luo mused aloud.

"Sort of," Evang
