This exit was where the welcoming party was waiting. They were at least petty-bourgeois; after all, the nation was still in its nascent stage, with only a fraction of the population having struck it rich, and they held no intention of lifting others up with them. Thus, those utilizing this luxury class transport were decidedly not from the common masses.

Yet, even so, the pair of beauties sent to greet Wang Zhuo drew considerable attention. One was an innocent young girl, both cute and adorable; the other, a refreshing beauty, sexy and poised. Their combined presence was a potent force, each excelling in her own right, creating a truly formidable attraction!

Affectionately patting Siyuan's small head, he let her take his arm on one side, handing his laptop to Bai Lu, who reached out to help carry it. Wang Zhuo smiled and asked, "Did you miss me?"

"How could I not?" Siyuan chirped with a grin. "But Xiao Bai missed you more. Isn't that right, Xiao Bai?"

Bai Lu offered a shy smile, essentially confirming it with her silence.

Wang Zhuo gave her a faint smile and a nod. He hadn't had Bai Lu for long—only a little over two months. For other couples, this would be the honey-moon period, yet he had been lingering in the company of beauties. He had indeed neglected this gorgeous woman a bit.

With a grand gesture, he declared magnanimously, "Let's go out for a meal first, and then we'll find a place to rest and properly unwind!"

Arriving at the parking area, the Suzuki Wagon R that Siyuan had painstakingly modified was long gone after the "Suzuki Bro" incident. He had kept a low profile for a while after that, but today he was driving a newly modified Buick business van.

Before even getting into the car, Wang Zhuo started laughing. This little girl Siyuan always had the strangest ideas. She had modified the interior of this vehicle to resemble a spaceship from a science fiction movie. Sitting inside felt less like being in a car and more like riding a rocket.

Though the exterior of the car looked quite ordinary—a deliberate choice by Siyuan for discretion—the interior customization was certainly priceless and required bespoke work. Just this set of modifications probably cost a staggering sum.

Once seated, Siyuan retrieved a piece of paper from beneath her cushion and handed it to Wang Zhuo: "I've checked on those people you asked me to investigate."

"That was fast. Did it go smoothly?" Wang Zhuo looped an arm around her neck and planted a kiss on her forehead as a reward.

Siyuan smiled sweetly, "There was a slight hiccup, but it was resolved quickly."

"I knew you were the most reliable person for the job," Wang Zhuo pointed at her, showering her with praise.

Bai Lu started the engine and slowly drove out of the airport. Wang Zhuo unfolded the creased paper and saw the photocopies of three ID cards.

"Qu Jingyou, Qu Xin, Qu Feng?" Wang Zhuo nodded slightly. From the lip-reading analysis of Qu Xin and Qu Feng's conversation last night, the woman calling herself Yangyang should be named "Youyou" or "Youyou." Now, it seemed his guess was indeed correct.

Siyuan said with a touch of pride, "I've already stored their fingerprints, blood types, and other information on my computer. If you need medical records or anything, I can retrieve them anytime."

After drinking the mineral water Wang Zhuo had swapped, Qu Jingyou had quickly fallen asleep, allowing Wang Zhuo to easily collect her fingerprints. He then sent them, along with her photo, to Siyuan via the internet, simultaneously sending sketches of Qu Xin and Qu Feng's true appearances, along with sketched reproductions of their fingerprints.

In the new version of ID cards, which included biometric data like fingerprints, blood type, and height, nationwide networking in this information age meant that tracking down an individual was not difficult if sufficient leads were available through database searches of photos and fingerprints.

Although the entire country only had just over a billion people, with women making up half, by using the process of elimination—discarding those outside the appropriate age range, from remote regions, or of insufficient height—there were only a few hundred thousand suitable matches for Qu Jingyou. Furthermore, by prioritizing searches based on the privileged access settings—Beijing residents first, then the prioritized search for those around twenty-seven years old—Siyuan managed to find Qu Jingyou's identity in just half an hour.

Medically, methods for verifying identity included comparing fingerprints, DNA testing, and bone-age analysis. Fingerprints were child's play for Wang Zhuo; incredibly simple. While he lacked experience in DNA testing, he was confident he could manage it. As for bone-age analysis, he only needed to look at Qu Jingyou for ten seconds to determine her age with an error margin of less than half a year.

Given all the information he provided, if Siyuan couldn't quickly ascertain Qu Jingyou's identity, it would be a waste of her genius status.

"These three are related; genuine Beijing natives," Siyuan chuckled. "Speaking of which, Qu Feng and Qu Xin are one thing, but Qu Jingyou's background is quite significant."

"What background?" Wang Zhuo asked casually while comparing the three ID numbers.

Siyuan said mysteriously, "Do you remember that last national leader whose surname was Qu?"

"Huh?" Wang Zhuo paused. "Wasn't he the Head of State? Such a high position; he appeared in the news broadcasts every day, how could I not know? What is Qu Jingyou's relationship to him?"

"She's his granddaughter, his biological granddaughter," Siyuan giggled. "It's a pity there are no candid photos of her online; I bet she must be a great beauty."

His biological granddaughter?! Wang Zhuo was instantly stunned. He glanced at the photocopies in his hand, then at the sweetly smiling Siyuan, and said with a wry smile, "Did you get the wrong person? How could she be Qu's biological granddaughter?"

"I can't be wrong. The height, fingerprints, and age all match perfectly," Siyuan pouted stubbornly. "Besides, the two men you asked me to check are also collateral relatives of hers. Even if I got her identity wrong, I couldn't have gotten all three of them wrong, could I?"

"Ahem," Wang Zhuo cleared his throat and said with a wry smile, "I'm not saying your investigation is incorrect... I mean, how could she possibly be Qu's biological granddaughter?"

Siyuan scratched her head sheepishly. "I don't understand what you're saying."

"Ah, I must be speaking unclearly." Wang Zhuo scratched his head and jaw, completely unable to process how the woman from last night could possess such an astonishing identity. He felt an overwhelming urge to confess this secret; he simply had to let it out!

"Forget it, I'll tell you everything!" He abruptly folded the paper in his hand and brandished his phone. "Didn't you want to see her candid photos? I have plenty—a great many. This whole thing... if we really went..."

Siyuan reached out curiously to take it, but Wang Zhuo quickly pulled it away. "Listen to me first. This is a huge deal, far beyond my expectations. Let's find a quiet place first and I'll explain everything from the beginning."

Between the airport and the city center, there were many undeveloped tracts of land. He parked the car in a deserted, quiet, open wasteland. Wang Zhuo called Bai Lu out of the driver's seat, and she sat down in the back row with them.

"I think I'll go outside and walk around. It seems I can't help much with this matter," Bai Lu suggested cautiously.

Wang Zhuo smiled and patted her shoulder. "We're family, there's nothing to hide from you."

Siyuan teased, "Exactly, Xiao Bai. You don't need to leave. Director Wang isn't afraid of you biting off that part of him, so why would he be afraid of you hearing his business?"

Bai Lu instantly flushed a deep red. Making suggestive comments was one thing, but having them said out loud in person was another matter entirely.

"How many times have I told you to learn to be more ladylike? Why don't you ever listen?" Wang Zhuo scolded with a straight face, suppressing a smile.

Siyuan stuck out her small, delicate tongue and reached out to massage Wang Zhuo's leg, immediately deflating his mock sternness.

"Let's talk serious business," Wang Zhuo indulged her antics, as it felt quite comfortable anyway. "This woman, Qu Jingyou, tried to kidnap me last night. Luckily, I saw through it. Otherwise, you wouldn't have seen me again."

"Ah?"

"What?!"

The two women were instantly startled. Wang Zhuo smiled calmly, "Don't be nervous. I'm not that easy to deal with. The person capable of kidnapping me hasn't been born yet!"

With that, he briefly recounted the events of the previous night to them, then gestured to his phone, sneering lightly, "I always keep my call reception on a limited setting. Except for you and a few other friends, unknown numbers can't get through. I bet this woman is going crazy right now, calling me over and over again."

Siyuan and Bai Lu exchanged glances, feeling that the world was indeed full of wonders. The biological granddaughter of the nation's top leader would stoop so low as to offer herself up in exchange for kidnapping Wang Zhuo. Did people like that also lack money? Did they require ransom?

"Why—why would she kidnap you?" Bai Lu asked doubtfully.

"I originally thought it was for money, but after learning her identity, it doesn't seem that way anymore," Wang Zhuo shrugged. "But it doesn't matter; we'll know once we listen to her call."

Siyuan asked curiously, "Will she actually call you?"

"She has to," Wang Zhuo said slyly with a smirk. "I recorded everything that happened last night on my phone. Even if she were an ordinary person, those photos would give her a headache, let alone being Qu's biological granddaughter?"

As he spoke, he was about to set up his phone when Siyuan quickly said, "Wait a moment, I'll get the computer ready to help you track their location."

Wang Zhuo nodded approvingly, and Siyuan immediately got to work. In a few minutes, she accessed the query backend of the mobile base stations and signaled Wang Zhuo that she was ready.

After disabling the incoming call restriction, the three waited in silence for the phone to ring. About a minute later, it did.

"Why is it 95588?" Wang Zhuo burst out laughing in exasperation. "Siyuan, can this number even be traced?"

Siyuan shook her head wryly; this time, she truly couldn't help.

"Why would 95588 call you?" Bai Lu asked, confused.

Siyuan made a silencing gesture with a bitter smile, signaling Bai Lu to wait before asking. 95588 was the service number for the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Clearly, this couldn't be traced. It seemed the other party was using a special network telephony technology that allowed them to control the number displayed during the call—high tech indeed!

Wang Zhuo shrugged. Having the number didn't matter much; now that he knew their identity, how could he not find them?

He pressed the speakerphone button, answered with a simple "Hello," and heard a cold, hoarse male voice on the other end say, "Wang Zhuo, you have made a grave mistake."

The icy voice tightened the nerves of Siyuan and Bai Lu, but Wang Zhuo’s expression immediately thawed like an iceberg. He laughed heartily, "Miss Qu Jingyou? I sincerely apologize. I didn't mean to skip out on the service fee. How about I settle it all next time?"
