The afternoon of the second day brought an utterly unexpected visitor. After seeing the guest out, Jun Mo Xie turned back in a hurry. Rushing and scrambling, he finally managed to finish; the update is late, my apologies. Today will also be two chapters combined, six thousand words.)
Jun Mo Xie clicked his tongue. "I have no idea how such a tiny thing as you managed to sustain these injuries? Tsk, tsk, truly bizarre. Your meridians inside your body are like the bark of a hundred-year-old pine tree—so fragile, riddled with cracks everywhere. A little more movement and you’d shatter." He chuckled, "You’re lucky, small one, that you ran into me. If it weren’t for me, anyone else, even with the will to save you, would be completely helpless. I’m rarely moved to act out of sheer kindness."
As he spoke, an exceptionally dense and pure surge of spiritual energy gathered in his palm, which he slowly channeled outward.
The cool, innate spiritual energy flowed drop by drop into the little beast’s meridians, like a trickling stream. This sudden infusion of innate energy instantly invigorated the creature. The indescribable pain within its body lessened significantly the moment the energy entered, replaced by a feeling of profound comfort, almost making it moan out loud.
The spiritual energy gently soothed the frail meridians that were nearly split open and shattered. Wherever it passed, it was like the work of the most skilled artisan, slowly mending the damaged areas bit by bit, advancing systematically, leaving no gap behind.
"This looks suspiciously like a case of Qi deviation, and a very severe one at that," he mused. "It must have been stopped dead by some supreme divine art for things to end up like this. But how could such a tiny thing cause such a massive commotion? Perhaps I guessed wrong? Maybe you aren't a small thing at all, but the number one major culprit of the Heavenly Punishment Forest?"
Jun Mo Xie let out a soft laugh, finding his own conjecture amusing, as it was entirely impossible! He couldn't help but cackle for a moment.
The little creature blinked slowly, casting him a look filled with deep disdain.
"Hmph, ungrateful thing, you still aren't convinced? If you were a Super Beast King, then wouldn't I be the invincible, supreme master under heaven? I could easily snuff you out with one hand right now! Of course," he added quickly, "Brother certainly wouldn't lay a hand on something as adorable as you!"
Seeing its highly human-like expression, Jun Mo Xie paused, then chuckled and freed one hand to gently scratch the little beast’s tender, pink nose.
The creature let out a small sound from its throat, and its large eyes betrayed a trace of embarrassment.
Young Master Jun continued to tease the little one while channeling spiritual energy to heal it. No one knew how long it took. Perhaps a moment, perhaps a long time...
"Oh? The little thing actually knows how to feel shy?" Jun Mo Xie utilized the innate spiritual energy from the Hongjun Tower and finally managed to completely repair the little beast’s damaged meridians. He sighed in relief and teased it. With his mind relaxed, he couldn't resist giving the little one’s soft bottom a light swat.
The little creature flinched violently at the slap, trembling as if electrocuted. It tried to struggle a couple of times but was firmly pressed down by Jun Mo Xie’s strong grip...
"The injury is healed, but since it was just repaired, you absolutely must not move recklessly. If you move, you'll revert to your original form immediately! That would be truly disastrous," Jun Mo Xie said, playfully kneading the little one’s bottom. That light slap had revealed that the little thing’s flesh was soft and pliable, almost boneless, with an exceptionally pleasing texture. He couldn't resist rubbing it a couple more times.
"Anyway, you little thing can’t even understand what I’m saying," Jun Mo Xie was unusually playful, his smile reaching his eyes. He scooped up the creature’s soft body and brought it close to his face for a moment of eye contact. The little beast shamefully turned its head away.
"Hmm?" Jun Mo Xie was delighted. He dug around its body, ruffling the white fur until it was a bit messy. Suddenly, an idea struck him. "Hey! You actually know embarrassment? Damn it, are you a female? Yes, you must be female! Brother needs to check."
No sooner said than done, Jun Mo Xie held the little creature’s two snowy white, tender hind legs, pulled them apart forcefully, and leaned in close to look.
"Hahahahaha!" It was indeed a female! Young Master Jun was practically dancing with joy.
The little beast trembled violently. Its eyes snapped open wide in disbelief. Its entire skin instantly flushed crimson, like fresh blood, almost turning its white fur red too. Its body became completely rigid, unmoving...
"Female is fine, female is fine. Even though I’m a big man, I certainly wouldn't violate you! What are you so scared of?" Jun Mo Xie watched the area between its legs with interest. He suddenly exclaimed as if discovering a new continent, "Wow, the cunt! In two lifetimes, I’ve always heard people talk about the cunt and such, but I’ve never seen that dirty thing. Seeing it today, it actually looks like a little daisy..."
Suddenly overwhelmed by a mischievous impulse, he extended an index finger and said with a wicked grin, "Watch Brother pop your cunt!" He poked forward with his finger...
The little beast let out a strange cry from its throat, convulsed violently as if seized by malaria a few times, and its eyes widened to their maximum in utter indignation. Suddenly, its head tilted, and it passed out...
"Damn it, you can't even handle that? Hey, hey, I didn't actually poke in! I just lightly touched it, and you had such a big reaction? Is that your weak spot?" Jun Mo Xie scratched his head with the finger that had just "popped its cunt," looking utterly bewildered.
"Sneaky pest!" Young Master Jun suddenly shivered violently, an inexplicable chill running down his spine. He suddenly felt a chilling, murderous intent! And the sheer power of that killing aura was something this young master, in two lifetimes, had never encountered before! Even compared to Jun Mo Xie’s own ‘Evil Lord’ killing aura, this was like comparing a tiny speck to a mountain. There was no contest whatsoever—it was like comparing a blade of grass to a giant tree!
It was a destructive killing aura!
In that instant, before Jun Mo Xie could even discern the source of the killing intent, he clearly felt himself completely locked down! As if plunged into an ice cellar!
Escape was impossible, whether ascending to heaven or descending to the earth!
For a moment, Jun Mo Xie broke out in a cold sweat! Such immense, dense, and sharp killing aura actually slowed down the thinking of anyone enveloped by it; even their very souls felt somewhat stiffened!
Under the shroud of this killing energy, the entire world visible to his eyes seemed utterly devoid of any trace of vitality.
Nothing but the intent to kill!
He hadn't expected such a terrifyingly powerful expert to reside deep within the Heavenly Punishment Forest! Jun Mo Xie instantly felt a pang of regret; he had been far too careless upon entering.
Since crossing over, Jun Mo Xie had encountered many masters, but those at the Heavenly Profound or Divine Profound realm were not even dregs compared to the source of this killing aura! Even the Peerless Sovereign, Li Jue Tian, was far inferior!
The intensity and magnitude of this killing aura clearly exceeded the limits of Jun Mo Xie’s imagination!
Or perhaps, considering the vast number of heavenly treasures, rare herbs, and immense wealth gathered here, it would be illogical if this place lacked a powerful guardian!
Almost instinctively, Jun Mo Xie wanted to flee into the Hongjun Tower for refuge. It was too terrifying! This level of extreme killing intent was completely beyond his ability to handle! Never mind his current self; even his strongest form from his previous life would be no match for it. Jun Mo Xie could vividly imagine the earth-shattering devastation the person emitting this aura could unleash with a single move! He would have absolutely no possibility of dodging or resisting!
But just as Jun Mo Xie planned to flee, this sudden, terrifying killing aura vanished just as abruptly as it had appeared... Without warning, it simply ceased to be. Then, inexplicably, it was gone...
It came in a rush and left in a rush... Leaving no trace, the world instantly returned to its original clarity.
"That was close!" Jun Mo Xie gasped for several deep breaths, heart pounding with lingering fear. His divine sense instantly merged with the Hongjun Tower, and he covertly spread the spirit sense infused with the tower's vast spiritual energy. But after sweeping the area, he found no target.
"Truly strange!" Jun Mo Xie frowned, holding the little thing. One must know that while Young Master Jun’s current strength was lacking, his inherent divine sense was extraordinarily powerful, no less than a Divine Profound expert. Fusing with the innate spiritual energy of the Hongjun Tower further enhanced his power. When fully utilized, the combination would compel even Supreme experts and the Heavenly Punishment Beast Kings to bow down. Since his debut, no expert had ever surpassed him, and even the master of that terrifying killing aura would be inferior in terms of pure divine sense. Coupled with his extreme subtlety, no one could possibly perceive the mysteries within. Thus, the Young Master dared to risk releasing his divine sense to try and discern the expert’s identity! Alas, despite the comprehensive search across every inch of space with his mighty divine sense, he found nothing. The surroundings were empty, as if no such person existed!
What he failed to notice was that the little thing in his arms had already awakened. The gaze from its beautiful eyes upon Jun Mo Xie was exceedingly complex, shifting unpredictably, faintly tinged with hostility.
Its fleeting expression shifted between indignation, shyness, ferocious killing intent, and confusion. Such a dramatic array of complex emotions appearing in the eyes of a tiny animal was incredibly bizarre.
But Jun Mo Xie’s entire focus was on the mysterious killing aura that had appeared and vanished. He noticed nothing of this.
He had searched every surrounding area thoroughly, yet he had failed to search his own arms. This seemingly harmless little creature was precisely the blind spot, the one entity Young Master Jun should fear the most to this day!
Unquestionably, a true pinnacle expert!
"Ha, little thing, you're awake? Awake but not moving? You really deserve a spanking! Are you hungry?" Jun Mo Xie finally confirmed that the mysterious killing aura had completely dissipated. Regardless of who that person was, they posed no immediate threat to him. His playful nature reignited. He lowered his head and saw the little creature staring at him, eliciting a mock scolding.
The little creature immediately closed its eyes again, tightly.
"Still holding a grudge against Brother? It was just a little touch on your little thing, is that worth this much?"
Jun Mo Xie pouted dismissively, giving the little one’s backside two more quick slaps. Then his hand lingered, kneading the small buttock like dough, a look of enjoyment on his face. "This feel... Tsk, tsk, you’re incorrigible, little one. Will you stay with me from now on? If you follow Brother, I’ll give you good food and fun every day. Others don't get this treatment! I don't ask for much, just to constantly massage your backside for fun."
The little creature looked at him with shame and indignation. If its meridians hadn't just been repaired and were at their most fragile state, it would have instantly tried to swallow this shameless fellow whole!
Who cares about your food and toys? Follow you? What good could come of that, just so you can massage my backside every day?! What nonsense are you talking about! You did help me today, that much is true, but the immense humiliation you’ve inflicted on me, if I don't return
The consequences of such enmity were not to be taken lightly, not even by a sovereign ruler. An enemy of a Divine Profound master often meant mountains of corpses and seas of blood!
Only then could Jun Moxie truly set his heart at ease and focus entirely on handling the affairs of his Third Uncle.
Even if the "Snow Wind Silver City" could not be purged of the entire Xiao family immediately, they first needed to bring Han Yanyao out! This was Jun Wuyi's greatest affliction, Han Yanyao's deepest hope, and the responsibility Jun Moxie had willingly shouldered—a vow made deep within his soul!
When Jun Moxie finally returned to Tiannan City, it was already the following evening. That meant he had spent a full day and night within the Forest of Heavenly Punishment.
“Boy, where on earth did you go? Taking this long to come back!” As soon as Jun Moxie stepped in, he was met by Jun Wuyi’s sharp interrogation. The three Divine Profound uncles stared at him with eyes that looked ready to devour him, clearly poised to jump up and deliver a beating.
The fact that their precious nephew had vanished without explanation for an entire day and night had nearly driven Third Master Jun mad with worry. This was Tiannan City, the territory of the Blood Soul Manor! Had Jun Moxie failed to return much longer, Jun Wuyi and the three brothers of the Dongfang family would have been forced to march on the Blood Soul Manor or the Snow Wind Silver City to demand answers about his whereabouts.
