Another month has slipped away.

The narrative arc of September consisted, at first, of several minor instances or dungeons, all serving as preparation for the ultimate push toward the Great Dao Realm. The middle ten days were dedicated almost entirely to describing the process of breaking through to that Dao Realm. The final ten days ushered in the Central Heavenly Dynasty, with its rigorous assessments. The updates covering the latter half of the month could certainly be described as nothing short of spectacular.

Now that September is behind us, the storyline for October will primarily focus on the Final Volume of the Jin Kingdom arc. The myriad grievances and conflicts within the Jin Kingdom are a major climax, possibly leading up to the grand, thrilling event of the Hundred Kingdoms Assessment. Therefore, October is essentially shaped around two major climaxes.

Having laid out the plot points, let me shout about monthly tickets once more.

In July and August, we held the seventh spot in our category for monthly tickets, agonizingly close to sixth place—just one spot shy, which is heartbreaking! Sixth place in the monthly category!

September saw me discouraged, and I made no real effort to compete for the monthly ticket ranking.

So, October.

No debate: we contend!

Yes, we fight! We must contest for the monthly ticket this time!

I absolutely do not wish to end up seventh in the category again; that would be enough to bring me to tears.

My updates for the past couple of days have been exceptionally diligent—three chapters on the 30th, three chapters on the 29th; I’ve consistently maintained three updates.

Even as the plot approaches a major climax, I strive for higher output. Where are everyone’s monthly tickets?
