"Originally, I didn't want to tell you about this matter, fearing your impulsiveness, but now that you've asked, I need you to promise me one thing!" Seeing Chen Feng’s eyes turn icy, he shook his head and said, "I know that Ah Wen raised you since you were small, and your bond with him is far deeper than with me, your own father. I am also heartbroken by his situation, but I do not want you to seek revenge!

Your current strength is considerable, but the opponent is stronger. Not only does he command a hundred thousand troops, but his personal cultivation has already reached the level of a First-Tier Dou Zun! The strength of a Dou Zun is truly immense. You may not have witnessed a Dou Zun in action, but I have seen it myself; the difference compared to a Dou Shi is staggering. I once saw him collapse half a mountainside with a single punch! Given your talent, if you cultivate diligently, you will certainly surpass him someday. Taking revenge then will not be too late!"

"Tell me who he is?" Chen Feng continued to press.

"A gentleman’s revenge is never too late; we don't have the strength to contend with their legion of one hundred thousand…" Seeing how agitated he was, Qi Gu couldn't help but try to persuade him again.

Ten thousand soldiers, though their individual cultivation levels might not be high, once they executed a combined formation, even a Ninth-Tier Dou Zun trapped within would have their Dou Qi completely exhausted and be ground to death. Qi Gu worried that Chen Feng was being too rash, which is why he kept advising caution.

"Bang!" Chen Feng swept his right hand back, shattering the chair and tea table several meters away into dust. The ground beneath his feet simultaneously cracked open with countless fissures.

"Speak!" he roared!

Qi Gu was jolted, feeling momentarily dizzy. With a bitter expression, he sighed, realizing he should have kept it secret. This path was surely suicide; no matter how strong one person was, they couldn't stand against an entire legion!

"I will tell you, but you are going to do something foolish! It is…" Qi Gu hesitated for a moment before finally revealing the name: "It is Feliath, the Legion Commander of the Fourth Army of the Allied Forces."

"I will make sure he never sees today's sun," Chen Feng muttered hatefully, his eyes beginning to redden.

He remembered Uncle Wen. The first person who treated him kindly. He had never forgotten that kindness for a single moment. To think that the last time they parted was now an eternal separation! The memory of Uncle Wen holding Gu Bofu, pleading on his behalf, was still vivid. The sight of him carefully peeling off a few copper coins to give to A Xiong, the gatekeeper... it was all as clear as yesterday... yet the man himself was gone forever!

He had been so focused on pursuing cultivation that he had forgotten Uncle Wen. Now, wanting to see him, he never could!

"Xiao Wu... Chen Feng!" Qi Gu saw Chen Feng’s reaction and knew he was definitely planning to act. His face turned pale, and he hurriedly tried to dissuade him: "Don't do anything reckless! The opponent commands an entire legion! Furthermore, even if you managed to kill him, what about the Allied Army behind him? The combined forces of the Luoqi Empire and the Tony Empire comprise a staggering five million soldiers! If they seek revenge, even Dragon Mountain Town could be annihilated in an instant..."

"Dare to kill my Uncle Wen? I will have his one hundred thousand men accompany him in death! Dare to press further? I will use the destruction of both empires as a sacrifice!" Having said that, Chen Feng stomped the ground and instantly appeared outside the hall.

"Chen Feng!"

"Boss!"

Ling Feng and Xiao Hu shouted in unison as they saw Chen Feng enraged, and they instantly shot out after him.

"Xiao Wu can fly..." Qi Gu rubbed his eyes in disbelief. "Doesn't being able to fly mean he has reached the Dou Zun level?"

"It seems so!" Elder Yu Qing, not far away, also stared at Chen Feng soaring out of the hall with an expression of utter disbelief.

"He... he has only been gone for a little over four years, and he's not even twenty yet. How could he possibly have reached Dou Zun? Even the Battle Devil Feng Li'ao back in the day didn't possess such cultivation talent..." Qi Gu muttered, his mind struggling to process the reality.

Ling Feng and Xiao Hu flew out a short distance only to see Chen Feng stop mid-air and remain motionless.

"Chen Feng..." Ling Feng called out.

"Follow me!" Chen Feng said, then shifted his form and shot towards Dragon Summit Mountain. They had flown from that direction, and there were no troops stationed there, which meant the main camp must be in the opposite direction.

Arriving at Dragon Summit Mountain, Chen Feng flipped his wrist and produced a [Gate of Nature]. He took out a Perfect Crystal and cast a divine sense toward it, then instructed Xiao Hu and Ling Feng: "You two go to the [Sweep the Horizon] Legion and mobilize troops. Tell Wright to send the Sacred Nether Camp over here!"

"The Sacred Nether Camp?" Xiao Hu sucked in a sharp breath. "Boss, the Sacred Nether Camp has nearly 200,000 Nether Saints... these are all Saint Domain experts! Isn't deploying them against less than one hundred thousand soldiers primarily at the Dou Shi level a bit... overkill?"

"Just have Wright send the people over here!" Chen Feng instructed, casually tossing out several more Freedom Teleportation Formations. Wright already had corresponding formations on his end; placing these down now would enable teleportation as well.

"Alright then!" Xiao Hu responded.

Chen Feng’s body flickered, and he shot back into the sky.

"Chen Feng, I'll go with you!" Ling Feng flew up to join him.

"Good!" Chen Feng nodded once.

The two of them "whooshed" across the sky, speeding directly toward the opposite direction of Dragon Mountain Town.

..................................................

"General..." A knight knelt on the ground, hesitating to speak. Directly in front of him stood a broad-shouldered, thick-armored man, staring intently at the map laid out before him.

"What is it?" the large man asked.

"We just visited the Kaint family..." the knight began.

"Mm, did Qi Gu tell you the location of the treasure? Hehe, with this treasure, our military pay for ten years will not be exhausted! Others may not know, but how could I not know? This wealth was actually amassed by the Finlay Empire using the Kaint family's name when they realized the tide had turned, with the intention of forming a new force and re-establishing their nation after the empire's collapse! Hmph, but now it has fallen into my hands!" A look of supreme confidence showed in the man’s eyes.

The kneeling knight swallowed the words that were already on the tip of his tongue upon hearing this.

The large man turned around, frowning: "Why is it you? Where is Sirius? Why hasn't he come over?"

Sirius was the knight commander whom Chen Feng had killed instantly.

"Sir Sirius he..." The warrior hesitated, cold sweat beginning to stream down his neck.

"What happened to him? Did you fail your mission?" the large man roared, his imposing aura suddenly exploding outwards. A ball of white mist-like kinetic energy instantly formed in front of him—the unique one-directional domain characteristic of a First-Tier Dou Zun.

"Yes... yes, General..." The warrior felt his throat dry and his limbs turn weak. "When we arrived, Qi Gu was just about to reveal the location of the treasure, but then a fellow arrived—the clan leader, Chen Feng Kaint! He stopped us and killed Lord Sirius!"

"Hmph? You couldn't even handle one man, what use are you?" the large man bellowed, and his domain shot forward abruptly, smashing into the knight's chest like a massive hammer.

Smash!

The knight cried out, stumbling a few steps back before spitting up a mouthful of blood.

"It is because your subordinates were incompetent, but this Chen Feng’s strength was too great... we were truly no match for him!" the knight stated tremblingly.

He had not fought Chen Feng personally, but seeing how he could kill the highest-cultivated among them, Sirius, in a single move, he knew Chen Feng was formidable. However, he couldn't state it exactly like that; saying so would surely lead to his death. Thus, he chose to present a half-truth.

After all, the General before him was known to be the most brutal figure in the entire Allied Army.

"Couldn't beat him? You ran back because you couldn't beat him? If you can't win, you should die to fulfill your duty!" the large man said coldly.

"Yes..." The knight quickly nodded. "I intended to die in service, but if I had died, I feared the enemy would escape before the news reached you, General... making them even harder to capture!"

"Mm, you make a fair point. I shall spare your life today!" The large man snorted coldly, walking from the front to the center of the main tent. "Send my order: take ten thousand soldiers and follow me into the city. Kill anyone you see! Do not let a single one escape!"

"Yes!" The knight turned and retreated. As he stepped out of the tent, he heard a voice echoing from the sky.

"Feliath, come out and face death!"

This voice boomed like muffled thunder, resonating across the entire sky. Everyone in the massive camp heard it simultaneously. They looked up and saw two figures hovering steadily in the center of the air—one man and one woman—appearing as if they were celestial beings.

"Who are they? How can they fly..."

"Are they also Dou Zun powerhouses? Yet they look so young..."

...

The soldiers scrambled out of their tents to discuss the spectacle, but after only a few exchanges, they heard an angry roar.

"Enemy attack! Archers, prepare!"

The ten thousand archers in the entire camp immediately nocked their arrows, drawing them taut toward the sky.

"General, he... he is Chen Feng Kaint... the one who just killed Sirius..." the knight quickly shouted.

"Mm, it's him?" Feliath snorted coldly but did not rush out of the main tent.

"Being able to fly implies he is at least a Dou Zun expert... How could this brat possibly be so strong?" Feliath muttered inwardly. To become a general commanding an army required not just bravery, but often luck and wisdom too.

A man as astute as Feliath could deduce the Kaint family possessed immense wealth and the origin of that wealth from only a few pieces of information, showcasing his intelligence. Such a clever man would certainly assess the situation and carefully analyze the opponent's strength.

Both opponents could fly, suggesting both were Dou Zuns; otherwise, they wouldn't be foolish enough to charge into a camp of one hundred thousand men to challenge him.

He was merely a First-Tier Dou Zun; fighting two Dou Zuns in a direct confrontation was a losing battle. What should he do?

"Don't come out yet. Let the archers and the mages in the legion engage them first to gauge their true strength before I step forward!" Feliath quickly formed a plan.

Just as he settled on this thought, another deep, thunderous voice sounded from the air outside: "Feliath, come out and die, or... every single person in this legion will die!"

PS: I apologize. While I was writing this afternoon, I received a call saying a friend was hit by a car, so I went to the hospital. Fortunately, nothing serious happened, which caused me to return late. But that’s no excuse. I am continuing to write Chapter Four now, though it will be very late, probably around three o'clock. Please check back tomorrow. I am sorry!!

Also: I am still asking for monthly votes. I am only 6-something monthly votes behind the person ahead. During this double-vote period, that's only three votes... Brothers, could you give me four monthly votes so I can catch up and surpass him?
