After Zhong Yun managed to revive the troublesome princess, he initially intended to send her straight back to the Ge'an Empire immediately, thus freeing himself from hiding on Qi Yun Star and allowing him to return to Davor openly as a hero.

However, after careful consideration, he hesitated. This royal highness was known for her proud and arrogant temperament. Not only had he slaughtered all her guards and captured her, but he had even slapped her...

Given her personality, she must hate him to the bone, perhaps wishing to flay him and tear his limbs apart. If he sent her back, others in the Ge'an Empire might cease their pursuit, but then this very princess would hunt him across the entire universe. At that point, he wouldn't even be safe on Qi Yun Star and would have to exert tremendous effort to relocate to New Jupiter.

Once he fully grasped the consequences, Zhong Yun abandoned the idea of sending her back. Thus, this high-born princess of the Ge Empire remained with him.

By Zhong Yun’s side, she was a peculiar presence—not intimate like Xiao Ruo, yet not quite a hostage either. She seemed to treat the place as her home and never requested to return to the Ge'an Empire.

Strangely, although she had a fierce temper, she got along reasonably well with Xiao Ruo and Yun Qi. She wasn't entirely tactless, and she refrained from putting on airs in front of them.

As long as she didn't cause trouble, Zhong Yun was content to ignore her. In this ambiguous state, she spent six years on Qi Yun Star.

Over these years, while her temper had somewhat moderated, a leopard doesn't change its spots; her words often retained a sharp edge. Just now, as she emerged from her room, she saw a woman Zhong Yun had just brought back lounging distractedly on the sofa and decided to address her.

Upon hearing Weiwei's address, "Little sister," she paused momentarily, but showed no anger, instead chuckling, "I thought that kid Zhong Yun only liked those delicate, simpering women." Perhaps due to her inherent nature, her smile carried a mocking undertone no matter how one looked at it.

Weiwei scrutinized her, trying to gauge her relationship with Zhong Yun. Sister? Unlikely. Even if the sibling relationship were terrible, she'd still refer to her brother with contempt as 'that kid.'

The princess immediately understood what Weiwei was thinking. Without explaining, she asked curiously, "Your appearance is considered quite striking in the Ge'an Empire. How did you let that boy trick you?"

Unsure of her exact standing with Zhong Yun, Weiwei simply turned her face away, choosing to ignore her.

Weiwei had abandoned everything in the Mingsi Kingdom, following Zhong Yun to this distant, unfamiliar place without hesitation. She already felt intensely isolated and was unsure how to interact with Zhong Yun's relatives. Her only reliance now was Zhong Yun, but since returning here, he hadn't shown his face, leaving her feeling helpless.

Seeing Weiwei ignore her, the princess wisely said no more and retreated back into her own room.

To foster a sense of home, Zhong Yun had remodeled a large hall near the spacecraft into a house layout, featuring ten rooms and three living areas.

Weiwei was seated in one of the smaller living rooms. Shortly after the princess left, another door opened, and Yun Rong stepped out, walking toward her.

Weiwei recognized her as Zhong Yun’s mother and quickly stood up, appearing visibly flustered.

"Sit down, don't stand," Yun Rong said, taking her hand and guiding her to sit beside her. She observed Weiwei from head to toe, silently nodding in approval. Although her blonde hair and blue eyes were markedly different from the appearance of Davorians, she was exceptionally beautiful, possessing a distinct exotic charm. It was no wonder her son had brought her back.

"Can you understand me?" Yun Rong asked slowly, worried Weiwei might not comprehend.

Facing Zhong Yun’s mother, Weiwei seemed nervous, but she nodded. Yun Rong was speaking the Common Tongue, so of course, she understood. "Auntie, I can understand."

Hearing her soft, melodious voice, Yun Rong felt even more pleased, thinking to herself, If only I knew what kind of person she is. "I am Zhong Yun's mother; you can call me Auntie."

"Hello, Auntie," Weiwei replied obediently, her manner so endearing it was impossible not to like her.

"Little girl, what is your name?" Yun Rong mentally sighed, Good heavens! One Yun Qi, one Xiao Ruo, and now another beautiful young girl from who knows where. Her son was average in looks, but when it came to young women, he was anything but simple. She didn't want to interfere too much in the affairs of the young. Her son was grown; being involved with several girls was his freedom. Her main concern was Yun Qi getting jealous and causing domestic upheaval.

Weiwei looked at Yun Rong, her eyes suddenly reddening. Yun Rong’s kind and gentle demeanor warmed her, reminding her of her deceased mother. Her nose stung with emotion, and a sentence blurted out, "Auntie, you truly remind me of my mother."

Yun Rong paused, then offered a gentle smile. Having just given birth to her second child, she radiated maternal love, and she could not resist Weiwei’s genuine, heartfelt affection.

Zhong Yun had left. Yu Daoqing had just awakened and needed time to fully recover. He didn't dare disturb her for too long, so he departed. On his way back to the main control room, he started agonizing over how to explain Yu Daoqing to Yun Qi and the others. Having an additional Weiwei had already made his relationship with Yun Qi somewhat delicate; now with Yu Daoqing too, he truly wondered if Yun Qi could handle it.

For some unknown reason, the Ge'an Empire's fleet had yet to attack Davor, merely blockading the perimeter, as if awaiting something. The atmosphere within Davor was stretched taut, with violent crime statistics soaring.

That day, Tian Hai, Chen Wen, and Zhang Xiao reunited at Mingzhu Mountain Villa, Davor's premier leisure and gathering spot.

"What in the hell are those Ge'an bastards trying to do?" Tian Hai sounded agitated. "They’ve had us surrounded for ten days, yet they sit there without moving an inch—what kind of game is this?"

"Do you want them to launch an attack and wipe us out?" Zhang Xiao couldn't help but roll his eyes.

"They neither attack nor leave, just keep their guns pointed at us. It’s suffocating."

"Could it be... they are trying to lure Zhong Yun out?" Chen Wen mused almost to himself.

Tian Hai and Zhang Xiao exchanged a glance, both sucking in a sharp breath.

"Not entirely impossible," Zhang Xiao said, composing himself and nodding.

"It's been six years; they still haven't given up?" Tian Hai was both shocked and angry.

Chen Wen sneered, "If the laws of the Grand Universe Federation hadn't constrained them back then, the Ge'an Empire wouldn't have let our country off. Now that ties have been completely severed, their actions are hardly surprising."

Tian Hai shook his head. "A'Yun doesn't even know where he’s hiding; he might not know what’s happening in Davor."

"It's just that the Ge'an Empire personnel won't think that way. They surely believe someone is still in contact with him," Chen Wen murmured darkly.

Tian Hai and Zhang Xiao could only offer wry smiles. If anyone was likely to have contact with Zhong Yun, it was the few of them.

Meanwhile, at the Yang Residence. All family heads and representatives of influential factions on Planet Vol were gathered to discuss how to navigate this greatest crisis since the founding of the nation. Although the Yang family’s influence had been somewhat diminished in the last war due to Zhong Yun, Yang Tianlie’s return had offset that impact. The Yang family remained the renowned "Marshal Lineage."

As the capital planet, every powerful family in Davor maintained outposts and stationed key figures here. Thus, this meeting held the power to decide the fate of all Davor. Everyone present knew this was an unprecedented predicament for Davor; if mishandled, Davor could be erased.

Yet, not a single person could propose a concrete, viable solution. The gap in power between the two sides was too vast; Davor had zero chance of victory through conventional means. They could only seek alternative routes.

In truth, there were two people capable of saving Davor from this crisis, but regretfully, neither was currently in the country. Normally, they found these two figures an eyesore, wishing they would leave and never return. But now, they were praying desperately for their return. If even one of them were present, Davor would be safe. Both had been personally granted noble titles by the Emperor of the Ge'an Empire and held significant influence there.

"Is it truly the decree of Heaven that Davor must fall?" The head of the Fei family slumped into his chair, murmuring despondently.

The rest fell silent, a wave of sorrow washing over them. Faced with national disaster, these families, usually engaged in petty rivalry, temporarily set aside their enmity to face the challenge together. Yang Bingchang looked at the disheartened assembly and felt a touch of bewilderment himself. Was it truly beyond saving?

In Davor's outer space, the Ge'an Empire had deployed one "Quasi-Planetary Class" battleship, thirteen "Satellite Class" vessels, and dozens of "Quasi-Satellite Class" ships. This force was more than sufficient to sweep through Davor.

The Mercury had arrived and was concealed behind the planet closest to Vol.

In the main control room, Zhong Yun was conferring with Xiao Ling on how to resolve the Davor crisis. His initial plan in coming to Davor was merely to extract Tian Hai and the others. The Ge'an Empire had gone mad, and Davor would likely suffer too; he couldn't stand by and watch his friends face danger. He hadn't expected to arrive right at this moment. Zhong Yun felt a mixture of relief and annoyance. The Ge'an fleet assembled was formidable; the Mercury could destroy them, albeit at a cost.

However, doing so would expose his whereabouts. Currently, the majority of the Omi Star System was swarming with Ge' Empire fleets, and exposure would drastically increase the danger level. The Ge' Empire’s reputation as the strongest power in the Omi Star System was well-earned; they possessed numerous "Planetary Class" battleships like the Mercury, and even terrifyingly powerful "Super-Planetary Class" vessels. Encountering even one or two carelessly might mean escaping would be impossible.

He had initially planned to send a small craft to secretly infiltrate Vol and extract his people. But any craft entering the atmosphere would certainly be detected. After much thought, he realized it was impossible to infiltrate the planet and retrieve his people without alerting that fleet. No matter how strong the cloaking technology, the sheer energy fluctuation upon atmospheric entry would betray their position.

"It seems the only option is to force our way in," Zhong Yun finally decided. He could not allow Tian Hai and the others to face any danger.
