Feng awoke from his stupor to find Luo Bo and Xiaohu crouched before him, both beaming with undisguised joy.

"Master, you're awake!" they chorused in unison.

After the period of unconsciousness, Chen Feng felt significantly restored. He stood up and glanced toward the cave entrance; daylight had fully broken.

"It's already morning? That night passed so quickly," Chen Feng murmured, then noticed Luo Bo and Xiaohu staring at him with strange expressions, prompting him to ask, "What's wrong?"

Xiaohu couldn't hold back. "Boss, you've been out for two full days and nights!"

"Two days and nights?" Chen Feng jumped in alarm. "Damn it, I've delayed things!" With that, he shot out of the cave like a whirlwind, flying toward Tianfeng Academy.

Ling Feng was estimated to need three days to awaken. On the afternoon she was grievously injured, he had found Xiaohu and stayed with him for one day, then remained unconscious for two—totaling exactly three days. If nothing unexpected had happened, Ling Feng should be awake now, and likely already fighting the entire academy populace...

If Ling Feng had awakened just one day sooner, perhaps by now...

The thought sent a shiver down Chen Feng's spine. It was over; that girl was probably beyond saving...

Ling Feng had shown him kindness. Having saved her life felt like repayment, yet, inexplicably, a thread of worry tugged at his heart.

Two days prior, on the road from Longtu Mountain, he had asked Luo Bo about the Phoenix Clan. They did exist. Their domain was called the Phoenix Realm. However, the Phoenix Clan’s rules were even stricter than the Dragon Clan’s. Once the family assigned a task, regardless of one’s status within the clan, failure to complete it meant facing punishments upon return that were crueler than death!

Consequently, when a Phoenix Clan member received a mission, if they foresaw failure, they usually chose death with honor.

What was even more infuriating was that even if a member died at the hands of the enemy, the Phoenix Clan would never intervene for vengeance.

Although Chen Feng didn't know why Ling Feng had challenged Xia Liubinqing, the fact that she had invited him to go along suggested it wasn't entirely voluntary; it likely involved some hidden secret. With Tianfeng Academy clearly making a lethal move, if he didn't go warn or save her, she would surely be in danger.

If saving someone doesn't result in them living... can it still be called saving a life?

No matter what, he could not stand idly by in this matter!

Though Xiaohu and Luo Bo didn't grasp the meaning of Chen Feng's 'delayed things,' seeing his urgency, they quickly followed behind.

However, the moment Chen Feng unleashed his speed, the two "beings" were utterly stunned.

Xiaohu, being a Wind Elemental Magical Beast, specialized in speed, and he had already reached the level of an Eighth-Tier Magical Beast. Even a Ninth-Tier Archmage might struggle to match his velocity. Luo Bo was another matter entirely; the Dragon Clan possessed inherent advantages, and having been a Ninth-Tier Archmage for so long, his speed was naturally blazing fast. Yet, even exhausting their utmost effort, neither could keep pace with Chen Feng!

Xiaohu shot Luo Bo a look, disbelief shimmering in his eyes: "Are you absolutely sure, Boss only possesses the strength of a First-Tier Dou Zun?"

Luo Bo hesitated. "Well... Lord Dragon God is unique; it's difficult to measure him by normal cultivation standards, exceedingly difficult to measure by normal cultivation..." He trailed off, feeling a pang of doubt himself.

Xiaohu gave him a look of disdain, blinked his large eyes a few times, and let out a long roar toward the heavens, a wave of helplessness washing over him. "I thought my progress in the Dragon Realm was fast enough, but Boss has advanced even quicker... I can tolerate that. I can even tolerate the existence of the monstrous domain of Innate Divine Flame, a domain only high-level Dou Zuns possess. But I'm a Wind Elemental Magical Beast, and he’s still faster than me! Boss, how is a tiger supposed to live on..."

Xiaohu had genuinely hoped to boast a little before his Boss after emerging from the Dragon Realm, only to find himself completely deflated instead of showing off. How could he not feel lost and disheartened...

Xiaohu had received soul sustenance from his father, giving him a rich knowledge base, but he was still young and possessed childish thoughts. A child who achieves something likes to show it off to their parents back home. Xiaohu's current feeling was exactly that: the disappointment of returning home only to find he had absolutely no capital for showing off.

In reality, if the two of them knew that Chen Feng hadn't even used his full strength, only about seventy percent of his speed, they might have felt compelled to commit suicide on the spot...

The man, the tiger, and the dragon arrived outside Tianfeng Town quickly. Chen Feng dared not be too conspicuous, landing discreetly and hailing a carriage to take them toward Tianfeng Academy.

"Boss, you said you needed to save someone?" Xiaohu asked, having regained his usual spirited demeanor.

Chen Feng nodded.

"Isn't that simple? We just charge in, rescue the person, and leave. Why bother with a stuffy carriage?" Xiaohu grumbled.

Three large beings occupying a small carriage was indeed cramped, especially with a giant like Luo Bo.

Luo Bo nodded in agreement. "Although Tianfeng Academy is the largest power on this continent, boasting dozens of Dou Zuns and three Dou Saints, if our Dragon Clan were to intervene in the rescue, they wouldn't dare attack us! The Dragon Clan isn't like the Phoenix Clan. The unity of our people is legendary. If they dared to strike, with just one communication spell from me... Tianfeng Academy would vanish from this continent in three hours!"

Chen Feng wholly believed Luo Bo’s words; the Dragon Clan's reputation on this continent did indeed eclipse that of the Phoenix Clan.

The Phoenix Clan's rigid rules often resulted in internal strife, preventing unified external action, whereas the Dragon Clan was different—like a completely independent and formidable kingdom, strictly hierarchical. Once a command was given from above, subordinates would not retreat even if it meant fighting to the death.

One could see this structure even in the Wyvern flocks: upon a single cry from the Wyvern King, all subordinate Wyverns obeyed instantly. Furthermore, once they learned Chen Feng was a True Dragon, all beings carrying Dragon blood pledged allegiance.

However, Chen Feng currently had no desire to mobilize the Dragon Clan's power. His status as the 'Lord Dragon God' was a pretense. Until Elder Yan Long was fully awakened, he intended to refrain from drawing upon the Dragon Clan's forces in the Dragon Realm—Luo Bo being the sole exception.

He did not support the notion of Luo Bo and Xiaohu forcing their way in. Hearing Luo Bo mention that Tianfeng Academy possessed three Dou Saint level powerhouses still gave him pause.

"Tianfeng Academy has three Dou Saint level experts?" Chen Feng asked, slightly bewildered.

"The Great Elder informed me just before I left; it should be accurate!" Luo Bo stated.

Chen Feng pondered for a moment, solidifying his resolve to proceed with extreme caution.

This was not because Chen Feng had become cowardly, but because if Ling Feng had already been captured, a brute-force entry would only jeopardize matters. It simply meant Chen Feng now planned his actions more thoroughly and meticulously than before.

The carriage trotted along with a rhythmic clop-clop, soon entering Tianfeng Town. It was only then that Chen Feng remembered something crucial and quickly asked.

"Your Dou Zun auras are too potent right now. Can you two conceal your presence?"

"Conceal our auras?" Luo Bo considered this. "We Dragons possess such techniques in our secret codices. Let me try..." He closed his eyes briefly, then opened them. "Done!"

Chen Feng used his spiritual perception to test it; the aura had genuinely been suppressed down to the level of a Ninth-Tier Dou Shi.

Chen Feng instructed Luo Bo on the method, and Xiaohu mirrored the technique, hiding his power at the Ninth-Tier Dou Shi level as well. However, this technique was only available to Archmages; Chen Feng cultivated Dou Qi and could not learn it.

The trio reached the gates of Tianfeng Academy smoothly. Chen Feng produced the Senior Student ID that Liu Yudong had procured for him, easily bringing the other two inside as well.

After reverting to his true appearance to meet Xiaohu earlier, Chen Feng had transformed back into his white-haired guise upon entering the campus.

Walking through the grounds, Xiaohu observed his surroundings with wide-eyed curiosity, constantly marveling. "Boss, now I know why you insisted on coming. I never realized there were so many beauties here... you must be indulging in carnal pleasure..."

Chen Feng shot the little beast a look of disdain and remained silent. What did a little thing like him know of true beauty?

After questioning a few students, Chen Feng finally located Liu Yudong’s residence. The capture of Ling Feng involved experts at the Dou Zun level; questioning ordinary students would likely yield no useful information.

Upon seeing Chen Feng approach, Liu Yudong’s legs began to tremble. His fear of Chen Feng was deep-seated; the fire element hidden within his body burned like a relentless spirit, keeping him in a state of perpetual panic.

"Did the academy manage to capture that young girl?" Chen Feng’s first words upon meeting him were direct.

Cold sweat streamed down Liu Yudong’s face. "That Phoenix Clan girl... wasn't she with you?"

Hearing this, Chen Feng knew the other party did not know Ling Feng's precise location, suggesting they hadn't tracked her down yet. He turned to leave.

Since they hadn't captured Ling Feng, there was no immediate danger. All he needed to do now was get to the library basement, find Ling Feng, and depart. With the Dragon Clan guaranteeing their safety through Luo Bo, even if they had to fight their way out, Tianfeng Academy wouldn't find it easy to stop them.

Having made up his mind, Chen Feng turned to go, but Liu Yudong hastily interjected, "The thing on my body..."

"Perform well, and I will naturally lift it," Chen Feng’s voice carried the words as he was already dozens of meters away.

Leading Luo Bo and Xiaohu toward the library, several students suddenly blocked their path.

One student whispered, "Boss Evan, this is the one who refused your challenge and even injured us. He also said... he also said..."

"What else did he say?" A young man beside him shot the speaker a cold glance.

"He said that Boss Evan is nothing in his eyes... utterly unworthy of even engaging him..." the student exaggerated while relaying the message.

Chen Feng glanced at the student; it was one of the youths who had delivered the challenge letter that day. He had only taught them a minor lesson then, so the injuries shouldn't have been severe, and recovery in over two days was natural. But why was this student confronting him now, when Liu Yudong was supposed to handle such matters?
