Some readers have asked me, "Your monthly ticket ranking is so low, what is the point of asking for monthly tickets?"
Think of it like studying or working. We have all been students, and many of us are now in the workforce. Learning, in itself, is often tedious; so too is much of our labor. What drives us to study hard or work diligently are things like getting into a good university or earning promotions and raises. But even these achievements are often not enough.
To reach our dreams, we constantly face an endless stream of exercises or an unceasing workload. This drudgery slowly erodes our passion. At such moments, a word of encouragement from a teacher, or a moment of praise from a supervisor, can provide immense motivation. Why? Because our efforts have been acknowledged. Perhaps in the end, we didn't get into our dream university, or we didn't land the desired position. But those affirmations and encouragements will leave us with a profound sense of accomplishment.
Word-crafting is similarly monotonous. Writing a book for four months, churning out over five thousand characters every single day, has extinguished any fleeting excitement. What keeps me writing is your support and affirmation.
A recommendation, a single monthly ticket—these are the best acknowledgments for me.
I need your affirmation. (To be continued; for what happens next, please log in to .**.m for more chapters, to support the author, and to support the right...)
