Zhang Enpu nodded. "Yes, this site was certainly examined by a geomancer. Otherwise, how could it have ended up positioned exactly over a 'coffin lid'!"

"A coffin lid? Isn't this a prime spot of Feng Shui?" Zhao Shan asked, confused.

Zhang Enpu said, "Well, yes, there is a stone sarcophagus on the Four Saints Ridge. However, the spot where your father-in-law is buried is not the entirety of it. Furthermore, your father-in-law's location has already been nullified by that geomancer. In other words, your Zhao family has been tricked."

Zhao Shan flared up, "Who would do such a wicked thing? We have no quarrel with them, yet they seek to harm us like this."

Zhang Enpu shook his head. "A geomancer shouldn't seek out a true dragon's lair—or their eyes will go blind (which is why most capable fortune-tellers are blind). But even so, they shouldn't go so far as to ruin the site to hurt someone. I suspect there's a hidden story here!"

Zhao Shan replied, "A hidden story? I haven't heard of anything shameful or secretive."

Zhang Enpu pondered for a moment. "Perhaps your father-in-law never told your grandfather the full truth of the matter, so naturally, you wouldn't know."

Zhao Shan asked, "Since you understand Feng Shui so well, could you perhaps deduce for me what exactly happened?"

Zhang Enpu chuckled, "I can't deduce that part, I can only see that the burial is flawed."

Zhao Shan was disappointed. "Then, Sir, do you know of any solution? I still want to marry and hope to have a clever and capable son; is there any hope for that?"

Zhang Enpu shook his head. "It is difficult."

Zhao Shan pressed, "Difficult means there is still a sliver of hope. Could you enlighten this junior? You are the noble benefactor in my life. Of course, regarding compensation, just name your price; it will absolutely not be an issue."

Zhang Enpu said, "It's not about money, it’s just that you don't understand the power of the Big Dipper Seven Sha Coffin."

"Big Dipper Seven Sha? Coffin?" Zhao Shan grew even more bewildered.

Zhang Enpu turned around, facing the vast expanse of the Four Saints Ridge. "As a native of Xiushan Village, do you know why it’s called Xiushan Village?"

Zhao Shan replied, "Not clearly. I only heard that Xiushan Village relies on 'seven large hillocks' as its backing, and the arrangement of these seven hills perfectly mirrors the Big Dipper in the heavens. Because they are so gracefully shaped, people call this place Xiushan Village."

Zhang Enpu said, "Correct, that is the story. But do you know why seven hills fell right here? Ah, of course, you don't."

With that, Zhang Enpu began to narrate a far more astonishing mystery of the stone sarcophagus to Zhao Shan and his companion: "Legend says that in ancient times, the sky suddenly tore open, causing the world to suffer extreme fluctuations between hot and cold, making life impossible. At this time, the Goddess Nüwa, who created humanity, was deeply saddened. She gathered the spiritual essence of heaven and earth atop Mount Tai and refined thirty-seven pieces of 'Five-Colored Stone.' These Five-Colored Stones were incomparably strong and imbued with divine power. Nüwa used thirty-six of them to seal the massive hole, repairing the sky to its former state. Thus, under her protection, humanity finally returned to the harmonious and happy life they once knew."

"However, not long after, chaos erupted across the land again. Two major clans, led by Gonggong and Zhuanxu, clashed in a struggle for the Imperial Throne, waging wars year after year, leading to another bloody purge of life. Moreover, Goddess Nüwa had expended too much magical power repairing the sky's breach previously and had not recovered in time. Therefore, she lacked the strength to stop this catastrophe and could only watch her descendants slaughter one another. Even more terrifyingly, her last remaining piece of immensely powerful Five-Colored Stone was stolen by Gonggong through base trickery while she was weakened. At that time, Gonggong held a much greater advantage in strength over Zhuanxu. So, while fighting Zhuanxu, he summoned the Seven Sha Stars to establish a Big Dipper formation on Kunlun Mountain, intending to use the stolen Five-Colored Stone of Nüwa within this array to forge himself a Heavenly Dipper Stone Coffin. Because, according to the wordless heavenly scrolls, anyone entombed in the Heavenly Dipper Stone Coffin refined from the Five-Colored Stones could absorb the spiritual energy of heaven and earth and be reborn after 500 years. And the reborn person would be invincible in the universe, capable of ruling all creation. But perhaps the destiny of the world forbade such a domineering figure from reigning; Zhuanxu, unexpectedly, defeated the much stronger Gonggong at Mount Buzhou using fewer forces."

"Gonggong could never have imagined such an outcome. In his final defiance, he struck the pillar that held up the sky on Mount Buzhou with his head. Rumble— with a tremendous noise, heaven and earth tilted toward the southeast. Due to this violent impact, as the world tilted, the stone coffin that had just emerged from the Big Dipper formation rolled down the slope toward the southeast. It rolled and rolled, and soon, the coffin separated from its lid, vanishing into the undulating landscape..."

Zhao Shan asked, "As you say, that Heavenly Dipper Stone Coffin, refined from Goddess Nüwa’s Five-Colored Stones, is the one on the Four Saints Ridge in our Xiushan Village?"

Zhang Enpu nodded. "Precisely. After the stone coffin was forged, as the terrain shifted, it split into two parts: a lid and a body, eventually falling into the region where your village now lies. But because they were made of the Five-Colored Stones condensed with the spiritual essence of heaven and earth, they inherently gathered an immensely potent malign energy (Li Qi). So potent, in fact, that people within five li dared not approach them. Those who did were immediately cursed, spitting blood and dying."

"The only way to neutralize the malign energy of the Heavenly Dipper Stone Coffin was through the essence of the ancestral vein of Kunlun Mountain—the place where it was forged—combined with the suppression of the Big Dipper formation, which could transform the Li Qi into auspicious energy. Therefore, at the time of the Zi hour in the ancient Zi year, the earth's central vein sensed the universe's mandate and, using its creative power, spawned seven peaks behind where this Heavenly Dipper Stone Coffin lay—right here, in your area. These seven peaks are arranged like the heavenly 'Big Dipper,' in a ladle shape, which is in reality the miraculous 'Big Dipper Formation,' used to suppress the coffin's malign energy. While pinning down the Li Qi, the place where this sarcophagus rested transformed into a nexus of myriad spirits (Wan Ling Bao Xue). The deceased buried within would enjoy eight generations of fortune, whether noble or official. And from that moment, your region was renamed 'Xiushan Village.'"

Zhao Shan gasped, "Oh, so that is the origin of Xiushan Village! Now I understand. It is quite a coincidence that the arrangement of those seven peaks truly mimics the Big Dipper in the sky."

Zhang Enpu affirmed, "Naturally!"

Zhao Shan continued, "You mentioned earlier that the Heavenly Dipper Coffin was finished precisely when Gonggong was defeated and collided with Mount Buzhou, causing the earth to tilt and the coffin to be shaken loose, splitting into two parts: a lid and a body. Does that mean the spot where my father-in-law is buried isn't the complete stone coffin, but only a portion of it?"

Zhang Enpu nodded. "Correct. The location where your father-in-law lies is where the lid landed."

Zhao Shan asked, "Oh, so the true location of the stone grave should be where these two parts join, shouldn't it?"

Zhang Enpu shook his head. "Both yes, and no."

"How so?"

"In truth, the real nexus of Feng Shui should be where the body of the Heavenly Dipper Stone Coffin fell, and for that place to manifest its true creative power, the lid must be moved there to reunite them. Of course, even if they remain separate, if a deceased person is buried over either piece individually, it is still a treasure spot thousands of times superior to any ordinary site. Take your father-in-law, for example; if that geomancer hadn't deliberately sabotaged it, your Zhao family’s prosperity for several generations would absolutely have been guaranteed. It's just a pity..."

Zhao Shan worried, "Sir, I know you must be an exceedingly skilled master of Feng Shui. Can you tell me honestly if there is any other way to resolve this, any room for maneuver? If not, I might as well wait at home to die."

Zhang Enpu smiled. "There is certainly a way, but you must follow exactly what I tell you to do."

Zhao Shan was overjoyed and immediately knelt, kowtowing. "Thank you, Sir, for showing me the light. I will never forget your great kindness."

Zhang Enpu quickly helped Zhao Shan up. "Don't thank me yet. Perhaps it is fate that brought me to you; otherwise, I might have gone to another village. Besides, you, Zhao Shan, are not a bad person in your heart; helping you is aligning with the Way of Heaven. Please rise!"
