The Wyvern Knights excel with the long lance, yet carrying a three or four-meter spear while walking on the ground looks rather bizarre, resulting in the group wielding weapons of varying lengths and shapes.

Take the one now holding the bronze mace; this thing looks to weigh at least seventy or eighty pounds. To effectively use such a weapon requires exceptional arm strength. While Dou Qi can certainly enhance power, how can mere Dou Qi compare to the raw, natural precision of one's own limbs? Furthermore, insufficient strength means forcing the use of an overly heavy weapon won't allow for optimal performance; instead, it becomes a burden.

Secondly, it must align with personal preference and temperament. It’s like asking Li Kui to fight with a dagger—it would absolutely frustrate him to death. This wielder of the bronze mace is naturally immensely strong, and on top of that, he cultivates Earth-attribute Dou Qi. With both factors amplified, he becomes exceptionally ferocious when not mounted on his Wyvern!

Imagine that nearly two-meter bronze mace swinging with a howling sound—even a Ninth-Level Dragon Knight would hesitate to meet it head-on, wouldn't they?

The leader finally breathed a sigh of relief when these two drew their weapons.

Nieluo and Paul were two major generals under his command.

Before becoming true Dragon Knights, Nieluo trained in assassin techniques, which is why he favors daggers. His movements are swift, quick as lightning, specializing in sneak attacks and assassinations. He ranks as one of the five great "Daggers" in the Wyvern Knight Corps' Third Squad!

Paul stands two meters tall, with a burly physique and immense strength! Before practicing any cultivation techniques, he could lift seven or eight hundred pounds with a single hand! Legend has it this fellow possesses the bloodline of the Southern Behemoth! In any strength contest within the Wyvern Knight Corps, absolutely no one could match him!

With these two bringing out their weapons, their combat strength would soar by nearly a factor of two. Facing the formidable assault of these two main generals while surrounded, if that boy with the shovel survives, it would truly be a miracle!

Thinking this, he let out a relieved breath and shifted his gaze to the man in red and Luobo.

Luobo, having suffered grievous injuries, expended his life force to cast magic. However, the life force of a Dragon is exceedingly potent, meaning he couldn't die immediately. He lay there with wide eyes, observing the battle.

Yet, he clearly regarded this level of combat with utter disdain. The power of the Dragon race is beyond dispute. Even though they utilize magic, anything reaching the highest realm achieves a form of convergence; magic and martial arts are no exception.

In his eyes, a fight involving someone of Chen Feng's caliber was simply beneath notice!

Thus, initially, his eyes showed deep mockery and disdain. But suddenly, his large, lantern-like eyes snapped wide open, becoming perfectly round. His corpulent body involuntarily twitched once! This was immediately followed by continuous trembling—whether from excitement or shock, it was hard to tell!

Shocking a member of the Dragon race? What on earth had happened?

The leader followed the direction of Luobo’s gaze and witnessed a truly bizarre scene!

…………

Chen Feng’s left hand trembled constantly, and his right hand began to swell. The previous exchange of fists, pitting one against two, had cost him nearly seventy percent of the Qi vortex within his body! Both hands were now almost incapable of gripping the shovel!

He had intended to store the shovel in his water canteen, which would have significantly boosted his speed. But upon seeing the two charging figures opposite him, he changed his mind.

Being unarmed would increase his speed, but how could physical speed possibly keep up with the speed of weapons?

He channeled his will, controlling the meager remaining vortex energy in his body, and with a sweep of his right hand, brought the Grade Five Dou Core into his palm!

While the energy within the Dou Core wasn't as pure as the Qi vortex energy, in this critical moment, he couldn't afford to be picky!

In an instant, the depleted vortex energy was replenished by the surging Dou Qi from the Dou Core, and his entire body was filled with renewed strength!

Just then, Nieluo (the one with the dagger) rushed forward. The long, sharp dagger, like a deadly viper, lunged fiercely toward his waist!

Chen Feng let out a cold laugh, pulling his left foot back. The dagger grazed past his skin, while simultaneously, he raised his right knee and fiercely drove it upward toward the opponent's charging face!

Nieluo chuckled, twisting the dagger at his wrist. The blade that had been skimming Chen Feng’s skin suddenly pierced through his leather armor!

"Go!" Chen Feng roared, relaxing and then tensing his waist muscles. Driven by the vortex energy, a burst of explosive force erupted, jarring the dagger aside. His right knee accelerated, poised to crush the opponent’s skull, but a sudden premonition struck him, forcing him to hastily retract his leg and dodge backward!

"Boom!" A massive hammer slammed into the ground right beside his ear! It was Paul (the one with the hammer) attacking from the flank!

It turned out Nieluo’s attack was merely setting up an opportunity for Paul's assault! What powerful coordination!

Nieluo stabbed toward Chen Feng's left side. Normally, he should have leaped to the right to evade, at which point Paul on the right would strike!

Barely a moment into the clash, cold sweat streamed down Chen Feng’s entire body. Battling these two was truly dancing on the edge of a blade!

Had his reactions not been swift enough, he would surely have met his end on the spot!

Logically, unleashing the Great Serpent Pheasant technique could kill both of them instantly. However, this powerful ultimate move, given his current cultivation, could only be used once. Even if he killed these two, there were still so many others waiting; he wouldn't escape regardless.

Yet, the more dire the situation became, the more Chen Feng’s fighting spirit soared. This might also be connected to the Fist Emperor techniques he cultivated internally; through constant practice, his personality and temper had become colder and sharper as his power grew.

In his previous life, he was just an ordinary university student, somewhat dull, and certainly never dared to contemplate killing anyone.

But after arriving here, after sorrowfully killing three tracking magicians, his state of mind grew increasingly mature. It seemed that killing was no longer a significant matter in his eyes! This point worried him for a time, but he soon grasped the truth: in a world where strength dictates respect, if you refuse to kill, you are destined to be killed!

The weak are prey for the strong—the naked, natural law!

Knowing this, Chen Feng became more seasoned, his thinking more meticulous, and his perspective on matters underwent a seismic shift!

Now facing such peril, a powerful yearning stirred faintly within his heart!

A fierce craving for battle!

"Ah!"

Under the clear moonlight, Chen Feng’s fighting spirit blazed. The flames around him intensified. He unleashed the Phantom Crane Steps, flashing to the left. The shovel in his left hand seemed to tear through the shackles of space, accompanied by a sharp whistling sound, swinging down toward Nieluo!

Attacking first was the best means of self-preservation!

Paul did not understand his intention; the bronze mace swept horizontally toward Chen Feng!

Simultaneously, Nieluo’s dagger plunged toward his chest!

A pincer attack from front and back!

The surrounding air thundered under the pressure exerted by the Dou Qi contained within the three weapons, sounding jarringly loud in the silent valley!
